[PFS] DM Kludde's 5-01 The Glass River Rescue (Inactive)

Game Master Kludde

The Society is looking for a number of stalwart adventurers to attempt the 'glass river rescue'. The glass river flows in Razmirian, the land of the living god, and it is the adventurer's task to find out the fate of a dwarves delegacy. The Glass River rescue is the first scenario from the 'Year of the Demon', and it's a nice undercover mission in the religiously oppressed country of Razmirian.

Please apply by posting with a PFS legal character (between level 1 and 5). Selected party members (first come, first serve) will be asked to confirm in the discussion thread. Welcoming new and experienced players alike.

I aim to post at least twice a day (around 5 GMT and again around 18 GMT), more frequently as time permits. I expect players to post at least once every 24 hours, in order to keep the story moving forward.

I will start play as soon as sufficient players (at least 4) have confirmed.

Shadow Lodge

I am interested in this but currently all my PFS characters are locked in games. One of them is about to finish I believe. If by the time this one starts the other one is already over I would love to join.

Grand Lodge

I submit my First attempt at PFS ever, The Half Elf Investigator. Now let's wait and see how much I've screwed up in the creation process ands have to go back and fix it ~.~

Grand Lodge

I'd really like to submit my character: an elf ranger.

I'm working on creating her right now, but I do have some questions:
1: How many points do you get to spend on your stats in PFS, or do you roll dice?
2: We start with how many feats at first level in PFS?

Grand Lodge

PFS Is 20 point buy, and You get standard 1 feat if not human.

Thanks! ;)

Grand Lodge

@Shayla, No Problem, a Investigator must be very learned to do her job after all~

Grand Lodge

We start with the average amount of gold for our character class?

Grand Lodge

PFS starts with 150 gold all classes. Have you glanced over the Introduction manual for pfs, I found it quite helpful.

Grand Lodge

Hmm, I should. I'm currently using several sites to search info, but a manual might indeed be easier.

Sovereign Court

I'd like to post my interest: Alia Charybdis (2nd level cleric of Sarenrae), here!

Alia Charybdis

Her current alias is at 1st level, but she just finished her third PFS adventure, and is mulling over the big decisions before she commits to her 2nd level.

Fluff:
When the Stonefist Clan was routed by Giants and their Goblin allies, Orik barely had any whiskers on his youth's face.

Now his red, forked beard is long and the braids down his back are longer. His family is scattered throughout Golarion, their once-noble blood reduced to mundane tasks like mining or stone-craft.

He himself went to Magnimar in Varisia and fought in the Serpent's Run until he learned the Sczarni con men set up and fixed many of those battles. Approached by them to fix a fight, Orik refused and was cast out of the gladiator group.

Still smarting from that injury and curious to know about the relics taken from his family's delving, he inquired about the Pathfinder Society.

In battle, he is a fierce warrior especially if goblins or giants are present. Out of battle he is dour and taciturn like many of his people.

His overriding ambition is to find the lost relics of the Stonefists and re-unite the Clan. (Problem is he doesn't know what the relics are really, nor where they are. That's what the Pathfinders will help him find out.)

Appearance: Clad in heavy armor and bearing a heavy shield, Orik is difficult to mistake on the battlefield. His war-axe is long and ornately crafted. His hair is red, and long in braids. His beard is also plaited into forks and is red. He has a scar from the goblins that raided his home from the corner of his left eye down to his chin along the jawbone. He fingers that scar often when he thinks.

Manner: Brusque, abrupt, liable to act without thinking, but noble in his beliefs and protector of those he favors especially the softer, gentler ladies.

Orik has finished 2/3 PFS adventures, so hopes to get is 3rd xp (and hence 2nd level) if chosen for this adventure. Posting once per day is no problem (most days).

Grand Lodge

I can post once per day with little issue to myself. my Content is in my profile for now, unless you want me to post it.

Background, personality and appearance will follow, but for now I'm going to sleep.

Also I'll mention I can generally post several times a day.

Grand Lodge

Ah yes, some personality and back story are necessary, are they not?~
Without furth Adu,

Seiomi:
Personality: Seiomi exudes a aura of knowledge and intelligence that practically brings trouble to her in droves. From uppity gangs that assume she is some rich person, to every single person running to her for help when she enters the first tavern, she is never overwhelmed by the situation, keeping a level head and a keen observance. In doing so she sometimes comes of as cold and uncaring, preferring to put logic ahead of emotion, but this is untrue, as she very much works on emotion; she's just at a professional level and keeps it well hidden.

Preferring to do whats right morally over what seems right in the eyes of the law she is very outgoing, and border line crazy when it comes to working a case; but she get's results. No lock can keep her from her target, and if it's for helping people then all the better. This has caused her problems when comforted with the law and authority, but as long as she keeps bagging the bad guys, or showing the proof that she was right, they normally let her go after wards, with much disdain and a well worded 'Get out of town' talk.

Appearance: With long brown hair pulled back into a french brain (Enough remaining to cover most of her ears) her pale skin and glaring yellow eyes are clearly visible on her soft cute face. She stands taller than most human women, a by product of her elven blood, and under her clothing lie well toned muscles with very little traces of fat.

Her outfit consists of a tight red sleeveless shirt, with a cropped black jacket laced gold worn on top, below her hip belt pouches lie a matching pair of black pants, gilded stitching showing around the pockets and hem lines, and a pair of freshly polished black boots rest on her feet.

On top of that she never leaves anywhere without her cane, made of well polished ebony and laced with gold embellishment. The canes her has the image of a roaring lion made of gold, and the cane hides a deadly secret; of a well polished straight blade the same length of the cane, runes etched into the blade in elvish script reading "Prosperity" The blade itself was a gift from her mother, re molded to lie inside of a cane by her own design.

Scarab Sages

I am up for a little sailing.

The Exchange

I would like to play.

Well, well, looks like we have a comfortably full table. I've got the following applicants:

1. Seiomi Telanaa - Investigator 1
2. Shayla Amye - Ranger 1
3. Alia Charybdis - Cleric 2
4. Orik Fistbreaker - Fighter 1
5. Artair Ceilteach - Ranger 1
6. Cedrick - Alchemist 2
Reserve: Zalanda - Wizard 1

@Seiomi. I had to look it up, and an investigator is indeed legal for PFS. Nice, I didn't know that.

@Zalanda. Looks like we have hit the max of 6 players. I'll put you on reserve in case someone drops out.

Could you please put at least a summary of your character in your profile? It's ok to have a link to a character sheet, but I would like to look up numbers in the profile as well. Also, please have an abbreviated stat block in your race/class line (the one that appears just below your name when you post in-character), e.g. in the format

HP 10/10 | AC: 18 /T: 13 /FF: 15 | Perc. +4 | F: +4 / R: +3 /W: +0 | CMB +5 | CMD +17 | Speed 20 | Init. +3

Selected players: please confirm your participation in the discussion thread. I've put a description of the situation you are in, and I'll open the game-thread once everybody has confirmed (or after 24hrs if we have a legal table).

Recruitment closed

I've received the withdrawal of Orik, which means Zalanda gets a spot. Zalanda, please confirm participation in the discussion thread.
