The party prepares for one more layer of descent. Jebediah pounces in, followed by Amsheagar and the rest of the party. As Pad moves down, a sudden burst of light causes a brief flash of headache in the gnome, which pulses out to the rest of the party. Pad falls to the ground as Glaurung shrinks to normal size.
Mordenkainen's Mage's Disjunction. All of those meticulously prepared buffs are, sadly, dispelled. I also need you to roll will saves for every magical item... (which apologies for the number of rolls involved)

An item in a creature's possession uses its own Will save bonus or its possessor's Will save bonus, whichever is higher. If an item's saving throw results in a natural 1 on the die, the item is destroyed instead of being suppressed.
Did Pad get knocked unconscious because lowest effective HD due to negative levels and step on a symbol of death or the like? I would safely assume your will save is higher at level 15 or 16.

Magical Items: Magic items always get saving throws. A magic item's Fortitude, Reflex, and Will save bonuses are equal to 2 + half its caster level. An attended magic item either makes saving throws as its owner or uses its own saving throw bonus, whichever is better.
All magical effects and magic items within the radius of the spell, except for those that you carry or touch, are disjoined. That is, spells and spell-like effects are unraveled and destroyed completely (ending the effect as a dispel magic spell does), and each permanent magic item must make a successful Will save or be turned into a normal item for the duration of this spell. An item in a creature's possession uses its own Will save bonus or its possessor's Will save bonus, whichever is higher. If an item's saving throw results in a natural 1 on the die, the item is destroyed instead of being suppressed.
You also have a 1% chance per caster level of destroying an antimagic field. If the antimagic field survives the disjunction, no items within it are disjoined.

The effective -4 to hit and damage on all of my attacks will sting, but I can live with it; my only fear is that we will run into something with decent AC, in which case I will be looking at needing 20's to hit.

So just to recap: all buffs are gone. Any item that missed the will save of DC 23 is inactive for the duration of the spell. Only items for which you rolled a 1 are destroyed permanently. I think it has been less than 24 hrs since you fought the vampires (we can keep the rolls, though)

Well, as far as I can tell, he is down 30hp from the negative levels, and a further 30hp from the loss of his belt... leaving his maximum hp as 107.
Feeling rather vulnerable, Jebediah does what he can with his buffs.
Specifically, Barkskin, and Freedom of Movement. While I am at it, I might as well toss out a Resist Energy(Fire), an Extended Death Ward, and a Seamantle.

Glaurung and Jebediah re-apply some of their spells at the bottom of the descent, while the fate of Pad seems unclear.
A five-foot-wide ledge follows the wall of this tall cylindrical room, connecting two identical iron archways. In the open arches of these passages are carved images of a heavily armored succubus of overwhelming beauty. A five-foot-wide catwalk extends from the wall into the center of the room, ending directly below a ten-foot-diameter hole in the high domed ceiling. A ring of rune-etched iron is embedded in the edge of the encircling ledge, and is completely legible from the end of the catwalk.

How much damage did Pad still have? It's hard for me judge whether dead or unconscious if I don't have the information I need.
My intention was to full heal (107 hp after loss of CON+4 belt) at the beginning of the day with his spells, but I did not state this with my actions. Without healing from last battle, he would have 14+level-6 = 25 hp before the CON+4 drop. Leaving him -5 hp after CON drop.

Pad is unconscious on the floor, as Amsheagar brings him back up with a charge from a wand (Pad is at +6 now).
The druid then covers the party in protective stone, then curses something in Abyssal. All the while it sounds like whatever caused the disjunction is recharging.

Pad stands up and wipes a thin layer of dust from his eyes. He unconsciously adjusts his magical goggles soon realizing they have disappeared.
Has anyone seen my Eyes of the Eagle? They aren't on top of my head or on the ground. Drats! I've lost them again!

The wide rear end of the gnome unassisted by magic struggles to climb on the dinosaur druid's back. He then casts extended greater infernal healing to regain his health over two minutes. (80 hp over 20 rounds.)
