Ezrek hits the last Vrock, throwing it backward with a forceful bomb and disrupting the spell it was casting. Leaving a puff of ozone, the Vrock teleports away.
Combat over!
Glaurung of Anfauglith |
Glaurung pulls a file from a fold in her robes and begins to work on her nails. "Well done, boys. Well done, indeed. Those things were quite ugly, weren't they?" She puts the file away and looks back around. "Let's find this Queen or whoever's been stealing people from Golarion so we can get out of this demon-infested place. The decor is just not my style."
DM Kludde |
Another hole leads down into the pillar's interior, ultimately leading to another space. A five-foot-wide ledge follows the wall of a tall cylindrical room, connecting three identical iron archways. In the open arches of these passages are carved images of intertwined humanoid forms engaged in erotic acts. A ten-foot-wide catwalk extends from the wall into the center of the room, ending directly below a ten-foot-diameter hole in the high domed ceiling. A ring of rune-etched iron is embedded in the edge of the encircling ledge, and is completely legible from the end of the catwalk.
byssal words etched into the cold iron edge of the encircling ledge: “Give in to your deepest urges. Let your lust and desires control you. Sleep here with me and I will enter you, and bring glory to the Shadow.”
DM Kludde |
As an alternative to sleeping, there are three corridors to explore...
Glaurung of Anfauglith |
"I am not entirely sure that I like the sound of that..."
"I don't know, sounds like just my type of place...." Glaurung smirks at the druid.
"But fine, if none of you are up for a little fun I suppose we should keep moving." Glau points to the northern corridor and leads the way forward with her longspear in hand.
Amsheagar |
Amsheagar fallows along, on two feet.
DM Kludde |
The corridor to the north ends in a door. Beyond it is an expansive rectangular chamber that is filled with bones, piles of rotting flesh, and pools of stagnant blood. A great mound of twisted, half-devoured corpses rises from an alcove in the northeast corner, stretching over halfway to the fifty-foot- tall ceiling. Two open passages lead out from the room’s northeastern and southeastern corners, while a single cold iron door provides egress along the south wall.
The stench wafting out through the door shrivels the nostrils, and the filth in the room is thick and vile (As in, difficult terrain).
Among the filth, the place is crawling with vampires, commanded by a winged, undead demon from atop the mound of corpses.

DM Kludde |
Can I have an action for Amheagar?
Amsheagar |
I am an Elemental Druid, i don't stick to just air elementals. Also, been busy on weekends recently.
Amsheagar goes into the room, have seen Vampires before, but the demon is new to him, so he tries to identify it.

Failing to do so, he takes a breath and almost falls over from the stench, but barely manages to survive.

Amsheagar steps into the room, determined to wipe out the vampire menace. His beam of bright light turns two of them into smoldering ashes.
The vampires retaliate by closing in on Amsheagar, and Pad. While Amsheagar manages to avoid the blows, Pad takes a bad hit and feels all the weaker for it.

I still haven't been hit with fire.... It's my main element.. I have a 20 DR on it.

Amsheagar can hit two vampires, but not three from that position.

Smells like sulphur and burnt toast in this room.
Pad also casts See Invisibility upon himself and anyone else who requests it (as a quickened spell).
Amsheagar |
Amsheagar will see Pad casting it and offering it to people. Can he do that instead of drinking the potion?
Glaurung of Anfauglith |
See invisibility is a personal spell, unfortunately, so Pad can only cast it on himself. You also can not make potions from personal spells so Amsheagar can't have a potion of see invisibility either. Sorry to rain on everyone's parade!
Glaurung sees the vampire disappear and curses. She flies past her companions and into the room with her longspear out, sniffing out the vampire's position and using Pad's guidance to aim her spear.
With a 90' fly speed she should be able to fly in there and near wherever the vampire gal is, then take a stab as a standard. Move Glau wherever she needs to be for that to happen.
