Pad's underhanded attack clear the bats from the room, but also singes Jebediah.
I don't think Jebediah has either a straight line or a unhindered path to his enemy (bats, Pad and cover being in the way) to pounce)
Jebediah surges forward to attack the vampire, and sees another one in the corridor on the left. Nalshene still struggles against the magical hold, while Amsheagar tries to heal her. Glaurung purges the rotunda of bats, carefully avoiding Ezrek.
Delay Ezrek, still need that save

Seeing as how the way to the bad guy is blocked by an ally, Amsheagar will transform into a celestial earth elemental.

![]() |

@Pad I would love to, if I can break this stupid hold spell. Every battle we have, I feel like I'm recognizing a new chink in Nalshene's armor. LOL
Will: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26 Finally!
Nalshene breaks out of her paralysis, sees new badguys, and knows that Pad has been dominated as well. With her only action left of the round (Swift) she casts a Quickened major image of the succubus that used her magic on Pad, and has the image say "Stand down."
No clue if that'll work, honestly, but it might? DC to disbelieve is 26.

![]() |

Glaurung tries to cut off the vampires by coming at them from the other direction, hoping the corridors meet up.
Double move flying total of 180'. I've only moved her 30' but she'll fly as far around as she can, trying to come up behind the vampires.

![]() |

That is a genius maneuver, Nalshene. Wouldn't Pad have to interact with the illusion in order to get a save? I'm not certain what I can do on my turn after given the command.

![]() |

Yeah I just gave the save DC incase it was relevant. Kludde can make the call on whether the command works, or if some sort of magical connection between you and the real succubus will keep it from working. But I thought it was worth a try!

DM Kludde |

I'd hate to poop the party on this, but the DC was 28, so a 26 means Nalshene is still paralyzed :-/
Jebediah, huffing and puffing, rips away at the vampire before him. His aim is a bit off, but with a talon, a bit and a claw he manages to bring down the creature of the night. Amsheagar transforms into an earth elemental, while Nalshene remains still on the floor.
Glaurung moves into the side corridor, and starts exploring. The corridor turns east, then takes a turn north.

Huge Celestial Earth Elemental Amsheagar moves forward through the wall and down, going under the ground 60 feet towards the foes. He wills stay under the ground until he can attack again. Double move.

The vamppire ignores Pad as he flies by and lands in front of his mistress.
Let me then roll that save for Exrek, since we're not hearing from him...
Will: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Defend the mistress, my minion, she must not come to harm! another voice of the night speaks. Glaurung flies toward the voice, into the corridor, and feels the vibrations of something invisible nearly. Reflex: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23.
Jebediah hisses in pain as he is electrocuted.
He then shrugs.
"Fine. Keep them. I owe them no loyalty."
He then casts Heal, and moves after the vampire that hit him.

I don't think either of those hit Glau. She has Blind Fight so doesn't suffer penalties from invisible opponents so everything should be against her regular AC without any +2 attack from attacking out of invisibility.
