The Azata slowly comes to her senses as Jebediah's healing power washes over her. Where am I... she says with a thin voice as she looks around, then recognizes the place oh, I'm still here. And you... you are not like them... you're healing me? Have you come to rescue me?
I... I am Vintari. I was an advisor to the poet Himotae - a famous aasimar in Tianjing. He was captured by the succubus sisters, just like I was. They brought me here, tortured me... took my mind... I don't know where Himotae is, have you found him?

Jebediah shrugs.
"Sorry Vintari - to the best of my knowledge, we haven't encountered any Tien Aasimars. That said, we really have no idea how big this complex is. However, if you want to come with us, I doubt anyone would have any objections..."

DM Kludde |

If you allow me, I will come along. I would aid you as a token of gratitude for my rescue, and it would enable me to find Himotae.
In the next room, water cascades from a quartet of demonic mouths that open near the ceiling. The water falls sixty feet, passing four dark lunar glass pools on sporadic balconies, before descending into a whirlpool.
The water in this room is warm and generates a thick layer of mist covering the bottom half of the room.

![]() |

As Glaurung follows Jebediah, she nods in agreement. "I admit that fire is not always the best choice for such smelly foes as it only compounds the stench, but it was an effective way to get rid of them fast."

![]() |

Amsheagar shrugs. "A scorched earth policy is best when dealing with demons."

DM Kludde |

Beyond the steamy room is another tunnel. The ceiling of this long corridor is littered with hanging chains, most of which are full of broken prisoners wearing sharp, seven-pointed crowns of iron, their wails of suffering echoing in the tight space. Other rent bodies cover the floor, their forms torn limb from limb and left to rot slowly.
There is very little the party can do to help these broken victims. After some twists and turns, the corridor opens up. Hanging gibbets sway from the ceiling of a massive cylindrical chamber above the mist-covered ground fifty feet below. On the chamber’s north wall, an uneven hole breaches the wall thirty feet above the mist, while an enormous succubus statue straddles a triangular doorway at ground level to the south.
Perched in the hole is a huge golden dragon, his attention drawn by the newcomers.
