"Huh. I don't think he needed six of us of grab a bottle for him. There must be something else going on."

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Kazzak spots the appropriate bottle, covered with thick dust. HE grabs the bottle to withdraw it from the rack, and a grinding noise occurs from behind the rack. Some dust shakes loose from the rack as it suddenly pivots inward and to the left, revealing a passage beyond.
The passage extends about ten feet into a room, lit by some sort of softly-glowing light source hanging from the ceiling. The room is covered with dust and cobwebs, but you can see a writing desk up against the far wall, covered with books and notes.
I'll need a marching order for heading through the passage, if you want to change it.

Jiggo is fine with the marching order and will join Kazzak (and Puss) on the front lines.

As the door opens, Puss' ears prick up, and he emits a low growl. Jiggo thinks he hears something very faint in the room beyond, although it may be just the echoes of the door opening.

Round 1
Trafelt is on delay after issuing his warning to the group.
Kazzak orders puss into the room, and delays until the cat can act.
Dailung draws her rapier, and has the rest of her turn left.
Puss advances into he room as per Kazzak's orders.
Kazzak casts divine favor on himself and follows Puss into the room.
Jiggo remains outside the secret passage.
Garikai follows Kazzak into the room, shield ready.
Piety is on delay.
Had to start initiative since people began casting spells etc, and other actions may be occurring which also need to be tracked. We are NOT in a combat situation as of yet.
Puss is still growling, smelling something that he doesn't like. Kazzak and Garikai can see that the room seems to have once been some kind of office. The desk, though covered with dust and cobwebs, is littered with books and notes. The tunnels to the east seem to lead off in diverging directions, but the ones on the western wall seem to head in roughly the same direction.

Traflet follows his friends into the room, glancing down the various tunnels. It looks like we can see the end of this one, shall we explore it first? And could someone closer look through the desk?
Sorry, that tunnel is supposed to go farther off the map... fixed the cropping now.
As Traflet moves into the room, several things happen at once. Puss's ears flatten and his coat bristles, as he looks suddenly to the east. Kazzak and Garikai see a long, thin arm extend from near the ceiling of the eastern tunnel, reaching for Traflet. The arm seems impossibly long and thin, almost stretching itself to be able to reach the gnome.
At the same time you hear a whispering voice, hissing quietly. "...yes, yes, a meaty mouthful..." The arm appears to be coming from a small creature hanging from the ceiling, partially sheltered behind the partially-collapsed wall of the room.

Gah - messed up. Used wrong modifiers and then re-rolled initiative. No more updates from the phone! Reposting initiative using the same rolls but right modifiers.

From the looks of the map there is only one 5ft square between Kazzak and the creature so he will attempt an attack at reach.

Kazzak spots something at the ceiling and reflexively pokes at it with plenty of force with the help of his powerful polearm. However as powerful as the blow might be it is equally clumsy and for naught.

The arm's owner gives a disappointed hiss. "No juicy gnome now for Dirinka... maybe furry kitty tastes good!" The arm stretches unnaturally long (10' reach) and tries to grab Puss! Claw: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 - hit! Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 Grab: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 The tentacle-like claw grasps Puss around the neck and pulls her into the air! "Yes, YES! It WILL be tasty!"
Puss instinctively tries to get away from the creature! CMB: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 She manages to wriggle free and drop to the ground, breathing heavily. "No, NOOO! Come back, furry kitty!" the voice wails.

Piety is very nervous, he's almost unable to move.
The creature to which the arm belongs is a Small humanoid creature, although obviously not a normal humanoid. Although its unnaturally-long arms are its defining feature, the fact that it hangs from the ceiling like a spider is also unnerving. The creature's large eyes are set into a wretched face forced into a permanent scowl, and its maw is full of sharp teeth. Instead of hands, the creature has serrated tentacle-like "fingers" on each arm.
Alas, no one has the knowledge to identify this creature...

Moving forward Dailung tries to get closer to the beast, ready to user her parry and riposte ability to attack it.

Kazza attacks with his naginata, but his attack is obstructed by Puss, and the creature manages to evade it. (Soft cover gives +4 to AC)

Puss attacks her former tormentor ferociously! hisses wickedly, and remains wary.

Sorry to ask, but I am a bit confused. Is puss the cat, a cat, small, like a ozelot or cheetah, or is it a cat like a house cat? Because I thought it was a housecat, then it would be tiny, not small. Also I thought animal companions are always neutral-neutral.

Puss is a small cat as in a cheetah. And puss the cat is evil because she likes to break the rules... anyways Puss the Cat is retiring after this adventure as she was erratad to suckitued...
I've assumed that Puss is neutral game-wise, since that is the rule, but evil attitude-wise, as RP'd.
