When the Black Marquis lost all of the men he could trust on a failed treasure hunt, he did the only thing he could: turned to the Pathfinder Society for help. Offering an ancient lost text in return for assistance, the Black Marquis of Deadbridge sends you deep into the spider-haunted Echo Wood of the River Kingdoms to track down his missing pirates and recover an ancient treasure for the Society. You'll face brigands, pirates, spiders and more—but will you survive the perils of the Pirate Pact?

Starting as soon as we get 4 PCs. I plan on running this one a little lighter on the fluff side. We'll go with Subtier 1-2.

I don't think I've applied Sunny's stat boosts for lvl 2 Druid companion.. I think that to hit roll should be 1 higher at least. She also has a 30' range on that.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can make posts in Sundew's persona? I'm at a loss for what to write since I have no idea how an intelligent plant should act, or even look for that matter. Any and all advice will be gratefully received. :)

It seemed like Sundew is like a snake: hard to read by non-snakes, loves to slowly eat food, relatively lazy.

I just do everything in the third person for thoughts that can be however you would expect/think it would think or speak. Its really a blank canvas for however odd or expected you would want it to think.

The vine wants to climb all over stuff (even when it shouldn't!) I doubt Dawn will mind a vine climbing up around her (hanging around too much fey will desensitize you quickly) but other people will be quite disturbed.

You could always personify the plant as an animal or just make it have anthropomorphic traits. Maybe it's highly inquisitive and needs to get its vines into everything, or it's lazy and doesn't listen unless you say a specific word - a real thorn in your side. It really is a blank slate. Some examples of plant people from movies, television, etc. if you want some further ideas.

Yes it was. I'm starting to see what this character can develop to be. If only I had more feats to work with sooner rather than later ;) Summoning in bugs sounds nice.

I'll have to take a look to see if there is a useful wand I could pick up other than the CLW I have now. Those 3 PP are burning a hole in my pocket.

Seems I actually only have 2PP left. I'll purchase a wand of speak with animals with it. Something I'll cast frequently and a 1min duration is plenty usually.

Hehe, I got to set up my invisible shocking grasp combo, finally. 2 spells later and 2 rounds later and I got to deal 17 damage.

And then Irvine charged for 18 damage, haha!
