Chuffy misses his attack against the giant frog. Maybe his tremendous mouth scares him. Lord Longtung 1d20 ⇒ 10

Goblin Alchemist

What's Vorka doing, being on fire?

Sorry, last post was incomplete. I'll remake it now.

Chuffy misses his attack against the giant frog. Maybe his tremendous mouth scares him. Lord Longtung tries to bite the goblin, but he manages to dodge.

Vorka is about to explore with rage.
-So you want flames, right? Takes flames then!

And his right hand produces a flame, and she begin to select his target, humming with joy.

Poog sees Reta in very bad shape, so he decides to cast another healing Powerful Goblinoid Spell! 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 hp recovered. I prefer to heal reta, because she is in real bad condition. I hope you don't mind this change.

Reta feels better thanks to Poog, so she continues to fire arrows to Vorka. And she strikes another hit! 3 hp damage

-Now, I have my target, bigheaded meal! -Vorka begin aiming to Reta.

Mogmurch misses the tanglefoot bat against Vorka.

Goblin Alchemist

Vorka still on fire Damage for the flames 1d6 ⇒ 3 - btw., as she is on fire doesn't she need o make a concentration check? gets hit by another alchemist fire for 2 damage.
Reta againshoots at her.

Reta attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Goblin Rogue 3 | HP 26/26 | AC 20 T 16 FF 15 | CMD 15 | Fort +3 Ref +7 Will +2 | Init +8 | Perc +7, Sense Motive +1

Like a child throwing a tantrum, Chuffy flails his weapon at the frog.

YEEAAAaaaaaaAAAAAHHHHHHhhhhhHHH!

attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Chuffy hits the frog with his weapon. 3 hp damage to Lord Longtung. The frog counter attacks 1d20 ⇒ 9, but Chuffy dodge the attack without problem.

Vorka keep extinguishing flames with his right hand, holding his own flame with his left one.

-You will burn for this!

You are right. I'll skip this Vorka's turn to compensate that.

Poog decides to heal completely Chuffy and cast his last healing spell (or the last he is going to cast in other than himself). 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6. Chuffy is completely restored.

Reta tries to aim the flaming cannival in the ceiling, but she is too scared about the things Vorka says to do to her in the caouldron, and fail his shoot.

Mogmurg throws another bomb and hits Vorka, transforming the cannibal goblin into a small fireball that fails to the floor, screming and convulsing like crazy (well, like more crazy than she was already). Few seconds later, she dies and keep burning in the ground. It seems reta liked to eat goblin meat with some wine. The flames seems well feed with vorka "full-of-alcohol" body.

Lord Longtung sees the scene and flees to the swamp, where he will die some days later for a broken heart.

Combat finished! Vorka died! Now, the treasure is yours!

These are the fireworks you find in pestilent Vorka's den:
Desnan Candle (5 gp): When lit, this foot-long
wooden tube launches a flaming pyrotechnic “candle”
every round for 4 rounds. Each projectile deals 1 point
of nonlethal damage and 1 point of fire damage if it
hits; on a critical hit, the target is also blinded for 1
round. The projectiles shed light as candles for 1 round
and have a range increment of 5 feet. Attacking with a
Desnan candle is a ranged touch attack and always has a
–4 nonproficiency penalty.
Paper Candle (1 gp): This finger-sized explosive
detonates noisily 1 round after lighting. Anyone in the
same square as a paper candle when it explodes must make
a DC 15 Fortitude save or be dazzled for 1d4 rounds.
Skyrocket (50 gp): When lit, this foot-long wooden
tube begins to shake and emit a handful of white sparks,
shedding light as a torch. One round later it takes
flight, moving in a straight line with a fly speed of 90
for 1d6 rounds before loudly exploding in an burst of
light and sound, dealing 2d6 points of fire damage in a
10-foot burst (DC 15 Reflex save for half ). If a skyrocket
impacts a solid surface or a creature before reaching its
maximum range, it detonates prematurely at the point
of impact. Anyone who takes damage from the explosion
is either blinded or deafened (a 50% chance of either) for
1 round.

Will you do something else here, or should we return to the tribe in "thriumpal goblinoid mode"?

Goblin Alchemist

Mogmurch jumps up and down as he sees Vorka fall. "Me the greatest, Bombidibomb she is dead! Brui the best. Kill Vorka, fireworks r'us!" Then he will give the palce a thorough search, treasure, treasure....

Loot the place and esp. Vorka, then go home.

Goblin Rogue 3 | HP 26/26 | AC 20 T 16 FF 15 | CMD 15 | Fort +3 Ref +7 Will +2 | Init +8 | Perc +7, Sense Motive +1

Chuffy loots the place thoroughly, then sets it on fire. When the fire is no longer fun, he'll suggest setting off the fireworks, then sullenly settle for marching home when everyone else doesn't agree.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Conclusion:
You manage to get the fireworks back to your
village without using them all or “accidentally” setting
them off, so you return as heroes. As you do return triumphantly, a big feast is given in your honor, and His Mighty Girthness
Chief Rendwattle Gutwad decides Mogmurch or Chuffy
should marry his daughter—the fearsomely corpulent
and ferociously lusty Gupy Wartbits. You two fight deciding WHO NOT MARRY the monstruosity. The remaining
heroes are given prominent tribal positions as well, with
names like Head Village Watcher, Overseer of Village
Stabbings, Master of the Pig Pit, or even a brand new
title like Boss of Big Fire.
What the goblins do with the fireworks they recover,
and what happens when they figure out the meaning
of the images and map symbols scribbled onto the
back of the ivory fan found in Vorka’s den, sets into
motion a series of events that will have repercussions
far beyond Brinestump Marsh, in the distant land of
Minkai. These events await discovery in the Jade Regent
Adventure Path.

The end!
