I'll take the elf lore Irnakurse! They are believed to be elves who have been subjected to particularly cruel and humiliating fleshwarping practices, though they are so corrupted by their transformation it is nearly impossible to tell.
Tal's response is near instinctual, but it means his aim is off. He takes a breath and settles into treat this thing like prey.

Carrufikus doesn't think this is a creature from the outer planes, and it's certainly not undead. His heal spell comes at just the right moment. Tal's first arrow nearly hits it, but it's the closest he comes to having an effect.
Gibbering and snarling, the creature closes in a bit tighter as a quartet of tentacles fly forth again. It's touch sends impossible images through your mind!

I missed tha tthis thing has a template (that makes it slightly easier). I'm going back to adjust now... LOL turns out that PEldur actually crit failed the first, and passed the second, not Fail + fail, but the result is really a wash. Tal DOES keep it together.

How long does the stunned 2 last? Is Carrufikus able to shake off the stunned condition?
Each time you regain actions, reduce the number you regain by your stunned value, then reduce your stunned value by the number of actions you lost. For example, if you were stunned 4, you would lose all 3 of your actions on your turn, reducing you to stunned 1; on your next turn, you would lose 1 more action, and then be able to use your remaining 2 actions normally. Stunned might also have a duration instead, such as “stunned for 1 minute,” causing you to lose all your actions for the duration.
So stunned 2 means you lose two actions, then reduce your stunned value by those two actions and you are no longer stunned.
