chuffy too |

Chuffy marches on, stomping on puddles and kicking stuff to see it fly, completely oblivious to the danger above. "This boring. Everybody talk so much about Lotslegs Eatmany, bah! I starting to think it not exist."

GM_Ravenath |

Poog's spell gets lost in the swamp. Doesn't hit the enormous spider.
Mogmurch dodge the spider web that Lotslegs throws to him, but can't manage to see where is the giant spider at time to react.
The spider, seen that little Chuffy didn't notice his presence, jump over the goblin and tries to bit him.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
But the tremendous agility of Chuffy let him evade the attack.
Reta tries to hit the spider with his bow, but his stomach hurts in the last moment and makes her fail his shot. Almost impale Chuffy instead.
Round 2! Post your actions! And... sorry about the low posting rate.

chuffy too |

"...starting to think it not exist."
At first, Chuffy thinks one of the others is just messing with him when Lotslegs jumps down on him. "Hey you! Stops messing with Chuffy, or I... uh... AHHHHHH!"
When he stops screaming, his goblin reflexes kick in. Ignore his reflexes, he attempts to stab the giant thing instead of running into the bushes.
If anyone else is attacking, he'll take a 5' step towards a flanking position if possible.
STAB! 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
Sneak attack damage (if possible) 1d6 ⇒ 2

![]() |

Reta charges the beast, dropping her bow and drawing the Chiefs famed weapon, the Gorge of Gluttons, hoping to strike true despite her sick stomach.
Attack 1d20 + 3 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 - 2 = 3
Damage 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3
Really sorry for the delay, weekend snuck up on me. Just skip my go as I stand there clutching my belly if I take too long

GM_Ravenath |

The surprise make Mogmurch and Poog fail his attack. His belly made Reta to fail hers. But Chuffy caught the spider off balance and strike a good hit with his rusty goblin dagger!
4 hp damage to the spider.
Lotslegs, feeling the pain, rotates his enormous body to face Chuffy and try to bit him. But Chuffy's reflexes saves him one more time from a certain death!
Bite: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Round 3. Post your actions!

Dodging and weaving like a true hero in an epic battle (at least in his own mind), Chuffy scolds Lotslegs. "Somebody gotta put yous in cage likes Stankrush!" He screams, pointing at his pet spider in a little cage swinging wildly from his pack. He then stabs feebly at the giant creature.
Assuming flanking attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
I doubt that hits, but damage 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
And sneak attack damage 1d6 ⇒ 4

GM_Ravenath |

Chuffy tries to return the attack to the spider, but she manages to dodge the blow.
That was the moment Poog used to strike a big hit with his spear (4 hp)
Mogmurch almost fall to the ground when the spider moved his legs in response to the pain.
Reta, ignoring the battle, tries to not puke because of his sickness.
The spider turns to face his attacker (little Poog). The stink of the swamp begin to mix with the smell of spider blood.
Attack at Poog: 1d20 ⇒ 11

chuffy too |

"Die buggy die!!" Chuffy yells as he continues to stab, hack, and slash at Lotslegs. His attack is so off target that it almost looks like he's swinging blind.
Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Damage 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
Sneak Attack Damage 1d6 ⇒ 6

GM_Ravenath |

The spider splash the dirty water of the swamp with his big legs while dodging Chuffy Too's attack. Reta's attack hasn't even to be dodged. She feels too bad to be a threat to the big spider.
But Mogmurch strikes the big bug with his club (misteriously, he decided not to use 1 of his 3 bombs in this threat). (3 hp)
Then the spider counter-attacks. 1d20 ⇒ 18

chuffy too |

Staying in a flanking position, Chuffy continues his hysterical barrage of stabs and slices.
Attack with flanking bonus 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
Sneak Attack Damage 1d6 ⇒ 6

GM_Ravenath |

With an incredible teamwork (something that isn't very common among the green skinned ones), Chuffy and Reta finishes off one of the most feared creatures of the swamp... feared among the licktoads, at least.
The big spider splash in the filty water with a wet noise and exhales his last breath.
(continues in 8 hours)

GM_Ravenath |

Lotslegs’ lair is not far from her ambush
point—about 200 feet directly south of the creek.
The lair itself consists of a deadfall of several old trees.
Scattered amid the trees are dozens of bodies, some of
which are goblins, but a few of which are humans. The following
items are among the
bodies: 24 gp, a Small masterwork light crossbow with 11
bolts, a single pearl worth 100 gp,
2 potions of cure moderate wounds, a
potion of bull’s strength, a potion of bear’s
endurance, and a wax-paper-sealed
package containing six pieces of
licorice-flavored taffy (this taffy
is strong enough to remove any
lingering sickened effects left
over from the previous night’s
bonfire events).

Mo gmurch |

"Grrrrreaayt," Mogmurch cries, "loot, shiney, sweeeet looty. Taffy for Reta, ugh, no longer sick," he adds with a grin, then takes the corss bow, "good for Mogmurch, Mogmurch good with shooty thingy."
What makes the most sense? Maybe more for Poog instead? Mogmurch will collect some stones which he can throw, and sticks, whatever does the most damage.

![]() |

Reta chews wildly on the taffy, leaving the other spoils alone. She knows when she's feeling better, and the others are sleeping, she can take what she wants anyway
"Mmmnmn" "Mnnnmm"
Reta thenbreak sinto song, cheered by the victory against longlegs
"We kil-lED the LOngLegs, we greatest warriors ever. Weeeeee KilllLLed It, WE IS WE IS we Is thE CHAmpeENs"

chuffy too |

Chuffy's eyes bug out at the sight of Lostlegs' treasure horde. Obviously a king of some king chief must gave met his fate against the giant spider to left such wealth behind. Chuffy grabs a couple potions (cure moderate and bull's strength) and stows ygem in his bag, pouts for a few minutes about Mogmurch taking the crosbow, plots his eventual demise for another few seconds, then spies the pearl. With a squeal of greedy joy, he grabs it,rubs it clean on his dirty rags, and hides it in the safest place he knows - his stomach.

GM_Ravenath |

And then, the adventure continues...
The point indicated on
Scribbleface’s map isn’t
quite on the coast, but
it’s close enough to hear
the faint susurrus of waves
crashing on an unseen swampy
shoreline. The site itself is obvious
once it is approached—a large wrecked ship lodged in a
shallow pool of swamp water. Driven aground decades
ago during a particularly violent storm that flung the
ship several hundred feet into the flooded swamp, the
ship itself is a two-masted Chelish sailing vessel with
strange, faded writing on its bow. But you goblins don't care a thing about this matters.
The shipwreck itself is upright, held in place by the mud
and sludge it now sits in and supported by thick growths of
marsh gorse and other foliage. The derelict leans toward its
stern at a noticeable but not unwieldy angle, and its railings
are as decorated with hanging moss as they are with goblin
skulls and bits of bone. Quite a misterious fact, indeed...
You listen a bark in the distant...

GM_Ravenath |

A two-masted ship lies mired
in the mud in this clearing,
its rigging thick with moss and
decorated with lanterns and
windchimes made from goblin
skulls and bones. Strange writing
is faintly visible along the ship’s prow,
while the soggy, swampy “yard” that
surrounds the wreck is encircled by a rickety
wooden fence. A thin curl of smoke wafts up
from a chimney that protrudes from an unusual
box-like structure near the ship's bow.
Then, from the other side of the swamp, you see
the ugliest horse ever, running madly in your direction!
Ok, guys, initiative, please.

chuffy too |

Observing the wreck, Chuffy can't help but be a little intimidated. The obvious goblin bones means that someone likes to do terrible things to his people, and EVERYone knows that writing is almost as bad as magic. Averting his eyes from the words that stay, he sees the horse and true terror consumes him. Feet like maces, muscles like an ogre, teeth like.. well like a horse!
Urine running down his leg, chuffy claps a hand over his mouth to keep from screaming, and spins in two circles looking for a bush or rock or friend to hide behind.
Initiative 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Stealth 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33

chuffy too |

Chuffy scrambles through the underbrush, terrified of the horse, terrified of going back to the tribe a confirmed non-hero. Torn between his cowardice and pride, he acts only when the horse attacks one of his companions. Then, leaping from the bushes with a squeal more characteristic of a frightened girl-goblin than a heroic battlecry, he slashes at the beast's hindquarters from a flanking position.
EEeeAAAaaaIIIiiiIEEeiIIaaAAH!
Flanking sneak attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Damage (minimum 1) 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Sneak Attack Damage 1d6 ⇒ 2

GM_Ravenath |

The horse wasn't specting the bomb thrown by Mogmurch. The explosion created low waves in the stinky waters of the swamp. But, throughout the smoke you can see the ugliest horse ever still running against you, with visible wounds in his dirty skin! Mogmurch hit!
Chuffy jumped over the horse, but miscalculated the distance and ended headlong into the swamp.
Poog readied his javeling and... (I'll edit this message later, don't post until then)

GM_Ravenath |

(...continuation from the last post...)
Poog readied his javeling and throw it to the running horse... striking the beast! But that doesn't stop the race!
(Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11, Damage 1d4 ⇒ 4)
Reta sees the horse comming and strain his bow, shooting without aim (aiming is a sign of weakness among the goblins, every licktoad knows that).
(Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8, Damage 1d4 ⇒ 1)
But the bow misses in the moment the horse try to run over the female goblin. But she manages to dodge the horse in the last moment.
(Run over: 1d20 ⇒ 3, Damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4)
Ok, guys. Round 2! Post your actions!

chuffy too |

Chuffy uses his best tactic, which is pretty much his only tactic, by staying behind the creature and slashing at its weak spots.
Attack - add +2 if flanking can be maintained 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
Sneak Attack if flanking can be maintained 1d6 ⇒ 6
