"Shadow and Illusion are her weapons Pathfinder, she cares not for the powers of the elements."
You move up the spire, cautiously avoiding the patrols that occasionally use the main spire to move from floor to floor. The sounds of a great celebration come from the various doors as you pass. It seems as if Rhoswen is already celebrating victory.
You finally make it to the top. The main doors waiting to be pushed open.
Last chance to buff. I will count all buffs as starting on the opening of the door.

Well looks like its resist fire 20 then..
At the door Kyra will use her Scroll of Magic Circle vs Evil and then cast Prayer 1st and Blessing of Fervor 2nd
Total buffs going out, +1 Moral Hit/Dam/Saves vs Fear, +1 Luck Hit/Dam/Saves(6rds), Resist Fire 20, +2 ac/saves vs evil and your choice of the below for 7rds..
BLESSING OF FERVOR
School transmutation; Level cleric 4
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, DF
Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Targets one creature/level, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart
Duration 1 round/level
Saving Throw Fortitude negates (harmless); Spell Resistance yes (harmless)
With this blessing, you call your allies to move forth and empower them to conquer and become victorious. Each round for the duration of this spell, each of your allies can choose one of the following bonuses for that round at the beginning of its turn (their choice).
Increase its speed by 30 feet.
Stand up as a swift action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus.
Gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves.
Cast a single spell of 2nd level or lower as if it were an enlarged, extended, silent, or still spell.
These effects are not cumulative with similar effects, such as those provided by haste or a speed weapon, nor do they actually grant an extra action, so you can't use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round. Blessing of fervor does not stack with haste.

Ezren will cast Mage Armor. +4 to AC for a total of 20
Who wants Haste?
You're level 7, that should be plenty of haste to go around for all.

![]() |

So i guess you guys can select the +2hit/ac/reflex from blessing of fervor.. stacks with haste, but the extra attack doesnt..

As the doors fly open, you're greeted on the other end by Queen Rhoswen and a large Rhinoceros.
""Challenge me in my own realm, will you?" the fey-queen sneers. "The Second-born know their doom has arrived and you’re the best they could send?" She gestures toward the mirror before her throne.
"Look there, if you dare," she taunts. The mirror shows images of a raging battle between the good creatures of the forest and her Fellnight army, as well as the citizens of Bellis huddled in their homes, frightened as mist and shadow close around them. "This prison can no longer hold me. Your sad tale ends here, your minds shattered and
souls cursed for all eternity."

Will: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31
Kyra will cast Holy Smite DC 18 Will..
Save for half and negate the blind
Damage: 7d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 1) = 21
HOLY SMITE
School evocation [good]; Level cleric 4
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S
Range medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Area 20-ft.-radius burst
Duration instantaneous (1 round); see text
Saving Throw Will partial; see text; Spell Resistance yes
You draw down holy power to smite your enemies. Only evil and neutral creatures are harmed by the spell; good creatures are unaffected.
The spell deals 1d8 points of damage per two caster levels (maximum 5d8) to each evil creature in the area (or 1d6 points of damage per caster level, maximum 10d6, to an evil outsider) and causes it to become blinded for 1 round. A successful Will saving throw reduces damage to half and negates the blinded effect.
The spell deals only half damage to creatures who are neither good nor evil, and they are not blinded. Such a creature can reduce that damage by half (down to one-quarter of the roll) with a successful Will save.

Lirianne moves to cover the fey queen, but notices Markus doing the same thing, so she shifts tactics.
She advances, opening fire on the witch, uncaring for further diplomacy.
MWK Reliable Pistol: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 231d8 ⇒ 2 <- v. Touch AC

We're so close, I'm going to play it as Ezren's delaying.
Rhoswen quickly merges into the living wood of her bramble fortress. Disappearing completely.
This is her using her Tree Walk power, a spell she casts once per day that lasts all day, so there is no spell
You hear her chanting a spell from within the walls of the castle.
The party is up.
You can roll perception to try and locate where she is in the wall.

Moving with supernatural speed, Markus steps closer. He gives a fearsome shout and hurls another volley of knives.
Rage. This is minus cover and with one range penalty.
Mainhand: 1d20 + 14 - 3 ⇒ (10) + 14 - 3 = 21
Damage: 1d4 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
Mainhand Iterative: 1d20 + 9 - 3 ⇒ (7) + 9 - 3 = 13
Damage: 1d4 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Offhand: 1d20 + 14 - 3 ⇒ (18) + 14 - 3 = 29

If those things aren't pillars providing cover, add +4 to each roll.

I assume Ezren would have targeted the entire group not just Markus lol.. Please remember that yall are recieving a total of +4hit/+1dam from Kyras buffs.. With haste that makes it a +5 to hit

Dead Shot 2nd attack: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 13 + 1 = 31 <-v. Touch AC

They do, let me calculate damage here.
Miss Chance Buckwheat: 1d100 ⇒ 68 Hit
Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 Fail
Miss Chance Lirianne: 1d100 ⇒ 51 Hit
She takes 17 damage from Buckwheat and not all of the damage from Lirianne.
Rhoswen - 37 Damage
To save her spell she needs to make 3 caster level checks.
Save 1 DC 21: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (16) + 16 = 32 success
Save 2 DC 31: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (15) + 16 = 31 success

Kyra will cast Spear of Purity DC 16 Will at her..

4 1s huh.. Nice job dice roller

![]() |

k. 1 second.
Let's factor all the damage and check miss chances.
Adamus: 1d100 ⇒ 100 Hits
Lirianne: 1d100 ⇒ 93 Hits
SR is overcome Spear of Purity hits and deals damage.
So we have 21+11 (She has DR 5/Cold Iron)+18=40 damage, with her 37 current, puts her at 77...
She's dead.
However, as she falls the power holding her realm together, especially the palace begins to fade with it. Shaking and crumbling. Racing forward you grab her staff and rush up the steps. From here you can perform the ritual, Devarre taught you to reestablish the Faengard.
The ritual is difficult, but you are eventually successful. The Faengard's power restored draws the shadow fey back from the material realm and stabilizes the realm replacing Rhoswen as the power to hold the realm together.
A portal opens and the Unicorn steps out.
"Well done Pathfinders, but is time to go. I can only hold this portal for a few moments longer before the Faengard's power closes it forever."
Congrats we made it through. I'll send out sheets with PFS numbers tonight when I get home from work.
Thanks so much for playing.
