Buckwheat Rainbow |
Buckwheat will move and toss a bomb towards the back side of the mounted spirggan.
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 9 + 1 + 1 = 22
Damage: 3d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 2, 3) + 6 + 1 = 13 & Reflex Save DC 19 to avoid being entangled and glued in place for rounds: 2d4 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
Also the Worg takes 10 damage with a reflex save DC 19 for half.
P33J |
Worg Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 Fail
Spriggan Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 fail and spriggans are vulnerable to fire so he takes an additional 6 damage for 19 total.
Spriggan Ride Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20 stays on the Worg after damage.
Spriggan 1 - 6 damage small sized
Worg 1 - Dead
Spriggan 2 - 33 damage, stunned and prone
Worg 2 - Dead
Spriggan 3 - 19 damage, entangled and glued for 5 rounds (since he's mounted is he glued to his mount?)
Worg 3 - 10 damage (is he also entangled?)

There aren't really any rules governing tanglefoot on mounted creatures so however you want to adjudicate it is fine by me.
Markus 'Earthquake' Kalepo |
Markus pulls two more knives and steps forward to blend the spriggan before him.

Wouldn't it be logical to have the tanglefoot bag just affect the mount? After all, the rider isn't using his feet!

GM Rolls YAY!
Worgs: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
You successfully miss the last patrol.
Just past the treeline, a low wall of piled rocks appears. A trail of well-trod grass leads though a narrow gap marring its surface. Ringing Rhoswen’s domain, the faengard stretches for several miles, unbroken but for this one area where Tenzekil took away some of the wardstones.
You've reached the Faengard.
The sharp hum of angry bees announces the arrival of an all too-familiar swarm rising over the nearby hill. The creatures descend upon the gap in the wall, completely covering it with their writhing bodies.
I need perception rolls.

Buckwheat will move up and toss a bomb at the bees.
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 9 - 2 = 22 +1 if Bless is still up.
Damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 6, 4) + 6 = 20 & Reflex Save DC 19 to avoid being entangled and glued in place for rounds: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5 Because the splash still entangles on a failed save I imagine the entangle will work on the swarm but the glued in place will not.

Missiles, if you have a sling or throw anything 1d6+1+STR or if you have a mace, you can use a standard action to replace the macehead with the stone. Don't ask, I don't know how that works either, but it was the suggestion in the module. Bless should not be up, it took about 15 minutes for you guys to get here.
It will hit the bees. They are immune to the entangled condition. However, they take 50% more damage from splash weapons. So they take 30 damage, significantly damaging it.

Swarm - 30

An arrow flies out of nowhere toward Buckwheat.
2 Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20 I think that's a hit correct?
Damage: 1d6 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 = 2
If it did hit, you take 2 damage and need to make a DC 15 Will Save.
You all may make a perception Check on your turn to identify the general vicinity the arrow came from. A knowledge nature check can help identify the potential attacker.
Buckwheat Rainbow |
My AC is currently 21 due to the extract of shield if it's been less than 8 minutes since the last encounter.
Will Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 (If Necessary)

Markus 'Earthquake' Kalepo |
Can Markus improvise a sling to use with the stones? If he'd known we were supposed to be using them as weapons, he would have borrowed a sling from the fey or something.
Markus 'Earthquake' Kalepo |
But alas, we don't have rapid reload [sling].
Markus loads his sling and fires into the mass of bees.
Mainhand: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12

Bees are dead.
But as you finish the bees off you hear the sound of another swarm approaching and not just a swarm, but the voice of Tenezkil following.
"Pathfinders, you've fought bravely. But this resistance is foolish. Rhoswen will have what she wants. Yield to her and perhaps she will reward you as she rewarded me."
He'll go last.
Your perception check lets you see Tenezkil, his giant bee companion and another swarm approaching.
The arrows (because and second one is coming, is coming from the north, flying towards Kyra.
1 Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
damage: 1d6 - 2 ⇒ (5) - 2 = 3 Kyra make a DC 15 Will Save.
The Knowledge Nature check lets you know these are pixies. You don't this by the fact that your companion buckwheat, when hit by their arrow fell asleep. It's one of their powers, they can make their arrows sleep arrows 16 times per day. The sleep acts like the sleep spell, except that the duration is 5 minutes. Any amount of damage to Buckwheat, including non-lethal will wake him up.
You also get 1 more question.
Buckwheat, it took about 15 minutes with the hiding and hiking to get here. If you have another shield extract, I will say that you drank it when the last patrol passed, in case you were detected, otherwise the arrow hit and you're now asleep.
P33J |
An hour turned into 24, my apologies.Tenzekil, Bee Companion and second Swarm are on the map. Kyra is asleep. Sorry you ninja'ed me and I didn't notice it, Buckwheat had a shield extract that he would have drank had he known his other had worn off.
Current situation, Kyra is sleeping. New swarm is arriving, Tenzekil is casting and the giant bee vermin is aproaching.

Ezren has gone, Adamus and Lirianne you can take your turn before the others go.
Ezren, I'm going to give you the only answer you need for the Pixies. They don't have to become visible to attack, so until someone has see invisibility up they'll just peck away.
From your perception checks, the invisible archers are close together in the area I've circled, but knowing what you know about Pixies they can move shoot and stay invisible.
Buckwheat Rainbow |
Assuming Ezren bothers to tell us abut the pixies Buckwheat will drink his extract of see invisibility otherwise he will drink his cognatogen.
Lirianne of Alkenstar |
Lirianne's half-elven features twist in a furious snarl at the attack of the pixies. She reloads, takes slow and careful aim at Tenzikil and...
Dead Shot: As a full-round action costing 1 grit point, Lirianne can shoot a single shot at a target, making two attack rolls at +13/+8. If either attack roll hits, Lirianne’s single attack is considered to have hit. For each additional successful attack roll beyond the first, she increases the damage of the shot by 1d8. Precision damage is added with damage modifiers and are not increased by this deed. If either attack roll is a critical threat, she confirms the critical once at +8. If both rolls are critical threats, she rolls the confirmation at +9 instead.
Dead Shot: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 191d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Additional damage if Tenzikil's AC is 19 or less: 1d8 ⇒ 4
Buckwheat Rainbow |
Considering Ezren didn't say anything about the pixies I will assume I drank my cognatagen rather than my see invisibility elixir.
Buckwheat will toss another bomb at the bee swarm.
