The party lands several hits on the elemental by the corridor.
Vince and Payk go on the offensive, with Payk dropping his bow and wielding a short sword. They both land a hit. Vince also takes a step towards Payk to try to flank the enemies there.

Gray Miller |

Gray looked at Vince with a little concern, shaking his head as he started to grin at the obvious crushing amounts of pain the man must be in. Now was not the time to indulge in sadistic glee. He snapped his chain forward at the elemental once more, hoping to drop at least one of the enemies before the group was overwhelmed.

Vince ------ |

Somewhat retroactive post for flavor
Vince shakes his arm, still numb from when he smashed it into the wall. ----ing Blackjacket trained and I hit a ----ing wall. He raises his other arm to protect against the counter strike, but that blow felt like it broke his arm. He winces, and his energy fades quickly. He does a quick survey, and smiles as Edmund's pit eliminates two elementals from the fight, for now at least. Three left. I can't hold out much longer. Gray and Ziera good. Payk ok, but fading. Antonio shouldn't be here. He starts to take another stirke at the elemental but his arm won't move. He stops himself and moves back a step instead. Need to get to allies.
The darkness is coming even before the elemental strikes him. couldn't even make it to the animagi...

Ziera |

Ziera has always been doubtful about Vince, thinking that he could be a traitor, so she briefly considers just letting him die. But she just can't do it. He might be a true ally, and anyway, they needed his sword.

That whole turn was amazingly heroic until that last stupid roll. All of that for 8 freaking points, really? I guess he is at least stabilized. Ugh.

Antonio Danera |

Antonio steps back. The situation was dire now - not the simple fights that had gotten them this far.
I suppose, in my lost memory, something like this occurred as well. Bah, knowing half of this group, it likely happened multiple times. Still, eventually, I would have to come clean. Antonio thinks.
Extending his finger in a shape akin to a pistol, Antonio commands his arcane potential to burst Arcane Strike. Electricity crackles around his hand, before accumulating at the nail, and subsequently firing off two shots at the earth elemental in front of Vince EE5.

Or, I suppose it isn't THAT obvious. Antonio is better at this than I thought.

Gray Miller |

Seeing Ziera tumble her way over to Vince's side and somehow manage to avoid a tangle of earthen limbs as she cast a spell of healing on the fading warrior, Gray stepped around the enemy they had been fighting to cut it off, keeping it from being able to flank the brave woman. He whipped his chain at it once more, ready and willing to tear it apart piece by piece. The thought was actually a pleasant one, come to think of it.

No harm done there; luckily for that one you didn’t have a bludgeonig weapon

Gray just grinned as the elemental struck him heavily, already feeling the flesh underneath his armor starting to bruise from the impact. Seeing that the creature/thing was missing several chunks already, the inquisitor was determined to continue adding to its injuries. Partially as payment in kind for the blow he took, and partly just because he would enjoy doing so.
