Gray Miller |

Gray almost chuckled as his companions efficiently dealt with the hell hounds as he snuck about. It almost seemed a waste of a spell. Without preamble, he reached forward and lifted the glass case up, reaching forward with his other hand to grab the scroll. Assuming nothing goes kaboom, he then started moving back towards the entryway, moving south first before turning west.

Edmund Gwenn |

Edmund finishes the spell from the wand, and Vince grows to twice his size.
Edmund, meanwhile, moves to C11 and flings an arcane bolt at the injured hellhound.

Antonio Danera |

Thanks for the bot. The pollen count where I live has just been awful, putting me under the weather. Hope this season ends soon.
Antonio moves the image closer to the Hell Hounds, hoping to draw their attention away from Vince.

Gray successfully grabs the scroll and scurries back to the door.
Ziera and Edmund both manage hits on Hellhounds.

Gray Miller |

Seeing as how his spell will last much longer, Gray quietly spoke out, "Got it." before falling silent again. No sense in letting the spell go to waste. He handed the scroll to the heaven-blooded woman, supposedly a cell leader, then lurked invisibly.

There are multiple strong presences in the conjuration, abjuration and illusion schools. You nitpick at a few specific ones but are unable to determine specific spells. You can determine that the abjuration spells do not have a similar trace as an alarm spell.
The last sentence is a somewhat awkward way of saying that there doesn’t it seem to be an implanted trap sensor.

---GM Shadowtail24--- |
There is a section in common that is then repeated in infernal. The writing appears to be that of a contract between House Leroung and a the “Devils of the Undermount.” It is complete with a few visible signatures and also a few blurry spors in the same area.
You and others can use Know Arcana, Know Planes or Know Local to determine the authenticity of veracity of the contract.

Ziera |

Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Ziera starts to check the authenticity, and then just turns it over to Edmund, realizing that he would be MUCH better at that.
I wouldn't say anticlimactic yet. We haven't gotten out, or seen the animagi... and the animagi are where our memories are supposed to be. Getting the contract is a total bonus, and will probably help our cause, but it is not our main goal.

Antonio Danera |

"It is strange we haven't seen any animagi... whatever they look like. If this is the real contract, where would the animagi be?" Antonio muses. "And what would be the point of all the other doors?"

Edmund Gwenn |

”There is illusion present here. We have to consider that this may be a decoy. There is one way to test it,” he adds, putting the scroll on the floor, then backing away.
When everybody is clear, he casts spark on the scroll (unless somebody stops him).

Gray Miller |

Gray frowned as it turned out the scroll they had retrieved was a fake. Still, there were only so many doors...which meant only so many fakes. He was pleased at the bookseller's ingenuity regarding the scroll, knowing that the House Contract would be impervious to such a simple spell. Remembering the pits that had crippled the enemy in the tavern, he knew that the old man was much more dangerous than he appeared.
The inquisitor quietly said, "This invisibility won't last forever...let's go ahead and get to another door, and I'll sneak in and see what I can while it's still in effect."

Edmund Gwenn |

He’s still searching for his kidnapped son. While he knows it’s going to be a long sea ch and he has to keep living while he looks, when answers are possibly close at hand, he has no patience.
Hopefully that wasn’t some high-level spell scroll treasure drop. In the future, if they find a fake scroll and it catches fire, Edmund will immediately stomp it out before its destroyed.

Ziera |

Ziera scoops up the ash from the fake scroll and adds it to her spell components. She sometimes needs a little bit of ash for her spells. Then she waits on this side of the platform until he is on the other side. Once he says he is there, since she can't see him, she walks across the bridge to him.

Gray Miller |

Gray scowled at the commotion behind him, but upon reflection he decided that it would serve him well, as his already stealthy capabilities would be further masked by his loud companions. He snuck through the corridor and took a look inside the next room to see what it might contain.

The room is almost identical, with an open space an a pedestal in the far corner. The one difference is that two earth elementals are in this room. They seem unaware of your presence as you enter, but you only manage to spot them for an instant before they burrow into the ground. Vince bursts into the room behind you.
I’m going to let Gray’s post happen first, and then have Vince interrupt Ziera. So at this moment only Gray is in the room, and he is invisible.
Vince, still under the enlarge effects, holds a hand in front of Ziera surges into the room before Gray can say anything.
Edmund’s lights and then Ziera and Payk quickly follow him into the apparently empty room. There is a pedestal in the far corner.

Ziera |

If someone jumped ahead of me, can I change what I do? In that case I would rather hang back in the entrance hall with my bow ready, waiting to see where the danger was. Not going to walk into a trap or the middle of an area effect spell with everyone grouped together. Paranoia keeps you alive. :)

Ziera |

Payk and Antonio are on the map twice.
Ziera moves up and tries to shoot EE1 in between Payk (if he is in that spot) and Vince.
(This might provoke an AOO from EE2, but assuming it will be at a negative because of the hard corner... let me know if that isn't the case.)
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Edmund Gwenn |

Edmund moves up behind Antonio and casts adhesive spittle at EE2. The distinguished gentleman hawks a big loogie which flies through the air, growing in size to cover the elemental insticky goo. EE2 is now entangled and must make a Reflex save DC 18 or be stuck to the floor.

Gray Miller |

Seeing that the pedestal in the corner was empty, Gray sighed, not really knowing what to do in a quick manner. Not willing to puzzle it out while his companions fight, Gray snuck over to one of the elementals attacking Vince and swung his spiked chain with abandon, becoming visible in front of his companions and foes.

Gray, i typoed before and it led you to read something wrong. The pedestal has another glass case on top and a scroll inside. I’m guessing you’ll want to go back and redo your post.
Ziera, no AOO on you.
Edmund, I believe you need a standard action to cast the spell, and then another to spit the liquid.

Payk |

Payk looks around frantically for a good place to attack from, but he doesn’t see one. Instead he drops his bow, draws a short sword and attacks with that.
