Hey, just a check-in to let you know that I have some family visiting for Mother's Day, so I don't have much time to post. I might get some in at school, but I probably won't be able to post from home for a few days. Please bot me as needed! Thanks.

Hey, everybody. I'm sorry for my absence. It was much longer than intended. I really only was going to be away for a few days as family visited. Then the hammer of life came crashing down--AP tests, school work as the year comes to a close, trying to find a summer job... Things piled up. As such, it's been two weeks since I even got on the forum.
That said, school is still in session for a couple weeks, and after that I'm planning to get a job in the summer. All that aside, the absence has made me realize how busy I am and made me think about my ability to keep everything together. As such, I'm trying to get my affairs in order and make sure I'm only trying to do what I can do. I'd hate to bog other people down with substandard playing, and that means cutting some losses.
I'm sorry to have to say it, but I need to drop out of this game, everyone. I've had a lot of fun playing in it, and I wish everybody the best, but I've realized that I'm trying to do too much. I hope to get a chance to play with you all in the future, when I'm more able to participate in PbP games like this.
Best of luck to you all, and happy gaming!

So that was the first part of the campaign. I will now award people extra hero points based on certain criteria.
The Best Role player is hard. You all got into your roles nicely and have done well. I am going to give it to Idril this time, I think she really played the role of an excited bard, and was compassionate to the children.
The Best Use of a Hero Point is the next criteria. I will look over the posts a bit before I reward that.
The last criteria is up to you. You vote on the MVP of the chapter. This can be based on anything, but please give a reason for your vote. You can not vote for yourself except in a tie breaker.

I am going to expand it to include mythic powers. Of the Players that remain I will say that Isorion's use of his Mythic Sleep to get out of his sticky situation with the local merchant's daughter was good.
Remember you have hero points, and that you can use them to accomplish special tasks, like casting scrolls beyond your level to acquire you next Mythic Tier.

Idril Ssethan |

Idril has a big grin on her face as she holds up the "Best Role Player" trophy; she poses gleefully as photo flashes go off all around her...
"Thank you! Thank you! I'd like to thank all the little people..."
As for MVP, well I would ordinarily vote for myself.
But because of his trying to stare down Boar-Hulk, and especially the adventure of the Merchant's Daughter, I would have to vote for Isorion.

Choosing for MVP.... This is really hard, can't I just take up the boar one more time instead?
I do appreciate Sergei's might in battle but I guess this either goes to Chammady or Idril, both have gotten integrated really well into Sandpoint and made good roleplay. I guess I'll have to give my vote to Chammady for descriptive spell-casting and for the way she handled her curse.
As for poor Isorion, definitely not the MVP this round.

Little Chammady |

MVP, that is a difficult one. This is one of the better games I have been in, in regard to roleplay everyone is doing a good job. I must say I like the friendly banter with Isorion and that is what tips the scales. So Isorion it is.

I am in a bit of a conundrum. My home internet is going to be canceled. I still have access at school, but this limits the time I can spend responding to games.
Of the games I run, this is the one with the least activity, so I am going to cancel it, at least for now. We had talked about finishing the first book, and I would have liked too, but I feel this is the right thing to do. I have enjoyed your role-playing.
There is still hope though, if you wish I have agreed to continue my longest running game, which has lost a few players lately. The link is here My other Game It is set in the Mana Wastes, there are Guns, it is currently level 3(No Mythic Tiers). If any of you are interested, and would like to join I would be happy to have you, you have all been very good.
I am sorry to disappoint any of you, and if I do get in a better position financially and have more time on the internet I will inform you all immediately.

Seconding what Idril said, it was truly an entertaining and enjoyable experience. I only wished it would have lasted longer. Thank you for your patience and good storytelling. You have my best wishes.
If at some point you decide to continue/restart it, please let me know.
