Background:

Isorian was raised by his human mother and lived quite a happy life till his powers started to developed. Seeing in that a big opportunity for her son, the woman send him to the only place where she though Isorian would get a proper learning about the ways of magic: his father Kalkus, one of the prominent members of the Lyrune-Quah. Kalkus though he did not refuse to watch over his own son, he wasn't very fond of having a bastard and moreeven a half-elf under his tutelage, always saying that child had only half of his elven stepbrothers power.

One day the Lyrune-Quah was visited by a wizard searching for details about a certain beast leaving in a hurry he forgotten one of his items behind. Kalkus sent Isorian to return the item not knowing what his decision would lead to.

Tracking the wizard Isorian found a patch of snow in the wastelands, then another, and before he knew it there was a big area covered with snow and in the middle of it a huge slain red dragon, having a icycle pierced through it's heart. He saw some form of energy being expelled from the dragon, pulsating faster and faster till it finally exploded. That was the last thing he remembered of that day. When he woke up everything seamed to be fine but in a way it wasn't he couldn't explain what.

In the next couple of months he noticed that his power was growing incredibly fast exceeding his elven kin, showing signs of dragon magic. He also started having weird dreams with wyverns, dragons and creatures of sorts sometimes fighting against themselves, sometimes against brave heroes and sometimes against a wave of coldness which sent shivers through his spines. The Lyrune-Quah elders seen this as an ill omen and banished him from the tribe.
