Elliander Celandi |

I've added thoughts about The Biter in the CS, as well as some of Elliander's original WoG background.

![]() |

My thoughts on the CS;´:
Ini should be only 5 by my count
Craft Alchemy base should be only 16 (5+6+3+2)
Also Francis if you want to switch wands, as I am only the bakup healer fell free to say so and it will be done. Mine contains 44 Charges currently.
And now Lets get that thing rolling once more.

Francis Thrannel |

Sounds good. Once we get the down time I'll make what we need for going forward.
If I understand the notes on the CS, "37 (of 47) charges of CLW Wand (used up from inventory)" I think that means 10 charges remaining.
West? Can you confirm/correct, and make the swap? Thanks!

GM West |

Post is up! Elliander, I've got one more question for you and then I'll finish the update on your CS. Francis, I've swapped out your wand with the one carried by Rediz. And you're exactly right, so now he's got the one with 10 charges and you've got the one with 44 charges.

Dont forget those points GM.

![]() |

Ah no I didn't.
Soumral can give Rediz the followings vials: 2 alchemist fire, 2 acid, 3 holy water.
@GM: Can you please adjust the sheets accordingly.

Soumral Malyarin |

And there's 1 more alchemists fire and 1 more acid flask that were left in her room as well.
The sum total is 3 alchemists fire, 3 acid flask, 3 holy water.

GM West |

Got your CS fixed, thanks Rediz! You can take those items and add them to your inventory, but you will then be at a Medium Load unless you get rid of some stuff. You're a half-pound shy of the Medium Load range. Let me know!
Elliander, I've got one more question on the sword and we're good to go!

![]() |

I think for this fight I would rather leave my mace, blanket and the rations back home this time and take as many potions as this allows me.
If I count correctly thats five potions,so
2 alchemist, 1 acid and 2 holy waters.

@GM: Didi we see any way of reaching the tower of the buiilding which was visible from outside? or did we establish already that it is irrelevant?

GM West |

The tower thrusts out of the interior of the building, roughly in the center - and the tower is accessed from the inside of the building. A cursory look around doesn't indicate any 'extra' space where an exterior secret door might lead into a pocket area of the main building. But you can certainly make Perception checks for that if you want to examine the exterior of the building.

Elliander Celandi |

GM West: Do you think local languages will have an impact on the story?
Elliander's CS currently lists: Common, Elven, Dwarven.
According to PF Core Rulebook, “Each race lists the languages your character automatically knows, as well as a number of bonus languages. A character knows a number of additional bonus languages equal to his or her Intelligence modifier”.
With INT +3, Elliander could have picked up some basic knowledge about a third bonus language (especially with Linguistics +12).
We might be adventuring here for a while...
Would it be possible to add something about what the locals are talking (Osiriani?) or whatever they used to inscribe on the buildings he has seen, as part of leveling to Lvl 6?

Amenhep |

GM, is it too late to swap out one of my HP favored class bonuses for a skill rank to pick up Ancient Osiriani? I had totally forgotten it as I was building Amenhep but it seems like it would really fit with his character.

GM West |

No problem at all! I'll drop you a HP and add that skill and the language to your character sheet. I'll make it your 1st level favored class - not that it really matters, I can just get caught up in the details sometimes... :)

![]() |

I think we can stick to the usual order just replacing Hasina with Amenhep
Rediz, Eliander, Amenhep, Soumral and Francis?
I also think we should write that down somewhere as the question comes up every other month.

GM West |

Sounds good! I'll keep it in the Campaign Notes.
So at the moment I'll go with Rediz' suggestion, if you folks want to play around with it we can do so. The trip to the bottom of the steps passes without incident, so you have time to refine your marching order if you want. Based on the single file order, I'll presume the following apply:
5' Corridor
Rediz
Elliander
Amenhep
Soumral
Francis
10' Corridor
Rediz....Elliander
Amenhep..Soumral
.........Francis

GM West |

Elliander, from what I can see you should have SIX more languages under your belt, one each for those ranks in Linguistics.
I've given you Osiriani and Ancient Osiriani. Feel free to pick up another four, if you'd like. Figure you're gaining fluency in them, maybe not perfect but good enough to get by!

Elliander Celandi |

Wow, great! Osiriani and Ancient Osiriani will be handy.
I don’t yet know much about the Pathfinder world but feel the Elliander is still a bit new to Garund, so as for the other four:
He has a fascination for Elven culture and has spent time with them, so let’s add Celestial and Goblin from that background.
As a spellcaster he has picked up some Draconic while The Biter has taught him Abyssal. ;)

GM West |

Done! And you know... my math last night must have been wacky, because you can have yet one more language... You currently have eight (beyond Common) and you should have nine (+3 for INT and 6 for your ranks in Linguistics.)
So if you can think of another to take, feel free!

When we entered the place I cast heightened Awareness and Barkskin with a duration of 60 min. No idea how much of this is still left by now.

Amenhep |

Just found this really cool feat that I'll probably build towards Amenhep taking. I had no idea there were so many alternative uses to Lay on Hands but Warrior of the Holy Light seems to be all about that.

![]() |

Very cool and in character.

GM West |

Just wanted to let you know I'm still around, just busy at work (October 15th deadline for extended taxes is nigh!) Between that and trying to get my entire October work calendar finished up in the first two weeks of the month (I'm taking a two-week vacation for the latter half of October), it's been pretty busy for me of late, and I'm frankly kinda drained by the time I get home.
So that said, I'm going to give myself a break for the rest of October, and will plan to resume posting around November 6th or thereabouts. I might sneak a post in before then, just don't want to pressure myself to do so, and if indeed I'm just absent until that first week of November I wanted you all to know why.
Rest assured, I'll be back and we'll proceed full steam ahead as you explore further into the tomb! Thanks in advance for your patience everyone! :)

Soumral Malyarin |

No worries West, do what you need to do. We'll still be around when you're back.

![]() |

Great!

Elliander Celandi |

Elliander got 4 hp dmg, but 1hp of them was absorbed by the crystal, right?

GM West |

Sorry for delay folks, had a busy holiday with the kids (fun!), then got sick (not so fun...) and now playing catch up at work (I'd rather be sick...) I'll post an update this week for sure! Just not sure exactly when. Thanks for your patience!

Soumral Malyarin |

Apologies for the gap in posting. Aside from the holiday my car was totaled over the weekend. No injuries, but I'm in the middle of dealing with all the stuff involved, including finding a new vehicle right quick. It may be a few days yet before things are back to normal. If you need to please bot me.

![]() |

well best of luck to both of you. Sounds like it was not the best holiday season to be head on your side.

Elliander Celandi |

I wish you all the best of luck too.
We just got 1 foot of snow the last two days. Guess I'm happy for still working from home. :)
BTW, is there something special with the format of Amenhep's avatar on the map? In some of my web browsers, it's not showing. Anyone else having that problem?

Elliander Celandi |

Never mind the Intimidation check during combat for me. It takes some conversation first, and Elliander is at -1 (CHA).

![]() |

I also never had a problem with this.

Elliander Celandi |

Might not matter, but the Large-scale Map corresponds to the earlier description, while the Detailed Map seems to have switched the rooms around?

GM West |

It's the same map, but the rotation is different. I usually try to 'fit' the map the best way I can given the rectangular size of the slide to show the most detail.
It's annoying that I can't flip the slide itself to a 'portrait' rather than its default 'landscape'. That way I wouldn't have to rotate the map pic. If anyone knows of a way to do that, please let me know! :)
