Hi everyone, I'm pretty excited to be joining you.
Welcome to my three new players! I'll have the adventure updated tonight when I get home. I prefer Roll20 maps, which you won't be able to manipulate, unfortunately. What I'll do is set up a number system on the grid so you can tell me what square you're moving to and so long as I can figure out your route, there won't be a problem. If you want to specify, you could also do something like (move 25' S, SE, E, E, E) to indicate which squares you're moving through (always assuming N is up on the map).

Brolof/Emilia? Nope, looks great I know what you're trying to do. I'll resolve the first part of the round tonight, including the skeleton attacks, and then the rest of the party will get their actions.

Alas, real-life interfered with my plans last night. I'll endeavor to get the post up tonight.
How should I handle the rolls for the readied action? Should I pre-roll them, one for each course of events, or should I let you, all mighty GM, handle it?
Either way is good with me, Emilia. I prefer to let my players decide their own fate with their rolls, so if I have a slight preference, it's to let you do it yourself. Feel free to hide such potential rolls with a spoiler that says something like 'Readied Attack' or the like.

No worries at all! I'm loving the fast pace on this board compared to the last one, so I might have got a little carried away in starting the next round. :)
Giving Akoris and Ignis another day to post their actions before resolving this round, which might be the last one of the battle. I will post either way on Wednesday night, after that I'm headed on a very brief vacation until the weekend so will not be posting through that time.
having some personal issues will not likely be posting for a couple days bot me as needed.
Things seemed to have slowed down a bit.
Indeed, I've been busy the past week getting work and personal life in order for an upcoming vacation starting on July 3rd.
I'm also waiting to see if we get any more posts from players or if I'll be leaving some PCs behind as we move on. Will try and post tonight, but if I can't get to it I'll be out of town for a week, returning on July 10.

Well! I'm very sorry about not posting for so long. Actually I thought I had already. Lost track I guess since I've been so horribly busy the last couple of weeks.
I'm back from vacation! I'm thinking we might have lost Akoris. When I make the next post I'll be writing him out. I'm thinking we have everyone else though! Look for my post this week for sure, maybe tomorrow if I can get to it. :)

Since yours is the higher modifier anyway Emilia, feel free to make the roll if you'd like. And maybe the female sorcerer will be more amenable to talk to a fellow woman anyway! Then Frances can decide whether to aid your roll or try his own.
I give a little leeway on this, because it's play-by-post instead of everyone rolling at once on a table where these decision should be made before anyone rolls.
But in pbp format, I'll let you see how someone else does on their roll before aiding or making your own. You're on the honor system to make the call when you post and then stick with it after it's done.
For instance, if Emilia only rolls a modified 15 and Frances decides to aid another but rolls a 22, then he'd have to stick to that decision and he'd only grant +2 to Emilia's roll for a total of 17 rather than changing his mind after the roll and taking the 22 as a separate Diplomacy check.
Are we now at four players? Are we alright with that if so?
Yeah, I think we've lost Herdouck (he hasn't posted since June), so I'll write him out soon. I can see about finding a 5th player to join the group - unless you are all OK with four? I had a lot of interest in this game when I started it up again, and turned down several players who were looking to join. Shouldn't be hard to find one of them still willing.
I'm down with 4 or 5. We've got a good mix of characters, so from a purely strategy point of view we're fine.
So... What are we doing? It seems just a bit like we've gotten too used to simply doing things and not really taking each other into account. xD

I think part of it is I may have become confused about the zombie's status. I took "is easily disposed of" as "you just kill it without wasting time on rounds to reach a foregone conclusion".
Is the zombie in fact not yet dead?
Zombie was helpless and you could have killed it easily. Francis counseled to let Herdouck lead it away and find city guard to deal with it, which they did. It's dead now. :)
By the way, I have added a few things to the Campaign Info tab. Some of it is more for me to keep easily cut/paste information, but I'll also track a few things over there, including treasure found, marching order, etc.
At the bottom I've added a few links in case you want to refer back to the first adventure 'The Half Dead City' (Part I & Part II) or to the beginning of this one prior to its migration to the Paizo board (Part III).
So... How is everyone doing? Been a little quiet in here, just checking in.

Activation: Wands use the spell trigger activation method, so casting a spell from a wand is usually a standard action that doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity.

Damn! Sorry, I forgot to repost last night. One of my players noted that I e-mailed her that I posted, though she didn't see it there. I realized I must have hit Preview for my post a couple days ago and didn't Sumbit. Fortunately, I write my GM posts in Word and save them, so I can copy it once I get home and put it up again. I'll do it tonight, if I remember...
Sorry for slow pace, I'm running a couple PFS games in Gameday and that's kept me away from my other pbp games to some extent. Those games are ending very soon and hopefully I'll be posting regularly (every three or four days) again. Thanks for your patience in the meantime. :)
