Sigh, and the Crappy rolls continue. :(
Edit, counting 4 Rounds from the ettin fight, I have the following still active.
Prayer 1/7 rounds remaining, Spiritual Weapon 2/7 rounds remaining, SOF on Kaos 64 / 70 rounds remaining, which means that all the saves had a +1. The Prayer ends this round. :(

Round Two
Ulfgard pulls out a vial and drinks its contents. The healing substance halts Ulfgard's bleeding and provide a bit of restoration as well.
Haskyll calls forth holy light, but the Searing Light missed under the large flying lizrad.
Another Dire Bat appears in front of the Rift Drake. It snaps at the dragon-like creature.
Dire Bat Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 131d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Droja begins to weave another spell.
Kaos cast True Strike on himself.
Ragnir invokes his Righteous Armor ability from his Righteous Half Plate. He becomes large like Ulfgard. He then pulls out his longhammer.
If I am not mistaken, activating the powers of the armor requires a standard action. You could not also attack with the longhammer in the same round. You would have missed anyway.
Unlike true Dragons, Drakes lack a key abiltiy, Intelligence. The sudden appearance of the Dire Bat confuses the flying creature. It hovers, then bites, and tail slaps the Dire Bat. Easy come, easy go. The Dire Bat shimmers and is gone.
Rift Drake Bite: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 292d8 + 10 ⇒ (4, 2) + 10 = 16
Rift Drake Tail Slap: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 281d10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Leira fires an arrow at the big flying beast. But her arrow was unable to penetrate the Drake tough hide.

Observing her difficulties to penetrate the dragon hide with her arrows, Leira dimensional slides appearing at a closer tree crown.
From there, the trickster girl has the drake at range of her spells, which she hopes can more easily damage the flying beast. Pointing with just a finger Leira casts scorching ray and two fire rays jump from her finger towards the drake!

Round Two
Anga pops the Rift Drake with a Magic Missile.
Round Three
Ulfgard with the aid of the fallen trees, climbs out of the rift.
Haskyll considers something heroic.
Droja says, "Well at least it keeps it busy." She summons in another Dire Bat. It is more or less window dressing.
Dire Bat Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 181d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Kaos takes his plum, I mean pilum, and throws it at the Rift Drake. The big heavy javelin sticks through the Rift Drake's tough scales.
(I just read an article about an archaeological dig near Jerusalem. They found several Roman Pilums. This is the first time I have ever read the name "Pilum" used out side of Pathfinder.)
The Rift Drake roars in pain.
Ragnir moves and finds a spot to reach the flying Rift Drake with his longhammer. The Dwarf Warpriest delivers a punishing strike against the flying terror.
The big Drake turns and begins to fly up and away. It has had enough.
But as it begins to fly away, Leira hits the Rift Drake with two fiery shafts of Scorching Rays. Leira maintains her balance in the trees as the big Drake loses consciousness and falls into the rift below with a thundering crash.

The Rift Drake is unconscious. What do you do next? It is a good thing that it didn't fall onto Ulfgard.
Leira
"Are you ok?" Leira climbs down the tree and looms over the cliff giving a hand to giant Ulfgard "Do you think the drake is associated with the giants? Perhaps we should check his belongings, if it has them"

Do you think it would tell us where it's lair is if you ask Droja? Or maybe it could say if it was in league with the Giants.
Leira
Leira looks curious at Droja's dealings. She seems worried when it does not render any result "Well, it seems not cooperative as the ogres... Perhaps we should move on"
The young girl points towards the snowed rift "We can try check its lair if it is not far, but we shall remember of the prisoners. If we have to lose too much time it is better to follow our path"
As the girl feels the lair is too far away, she looks for the previously found path and looks to move forward down the way.

"Oh good! I can see the cave opening. Let's just check it" the young girl moves towards the rift while covering Kaos advance with her bow.

The party recovers from the affects of Rift Drake's Clinging Corrosion.
Haskyll begins to heal Ulfgard then Kaos before the party takes off toward the cave opening.
The snow begins to fall so heavily that it quickly covers any ground not directly under trees.
The party begins to track down the rift toward the cave entrance. As the party approaches the cave, from the dark flies out its mated pair. It soars about 40 feet above the floor of this box canyon.

Ulfgard, Leira, Kaos, Ragnir, and Anga must all make DC20 Reflex saves or take 31 points of damage and be slowed for only the current Round. If you make your save, you take 15 points of damage. Likewise, you are not affected by the Slow effect.

You heal hits, you take hits
Anga staggers as she takes the hit. She finds her movements slowed, and casts a spell to counter it. Haste. the effects spread out to the party.
This will have one of two effects. If you are slowed (like Anga) it will just cancel the slow effect. no other bonus. If you avoided the slow, you get +1 AC, hit roll and reflex; and +30ft movement (20 if you are a dwarf)
Haskyll Stonereaver
Anga, You were not hurt from the last fight, or you were down a max of 1 HP. Otherwise, I would have healed you at the same time as I did Kaos, and Ulfgard.
BTW, I am casting a summon monster spell.
Anga Runedaughter
of course, i was healed during the fight. Ignore me, premature senility. And I'm pretty certain, kaos, that if haste dispels slow (and vice versa) it just cancels the effect then is gone. Mazra can rule on that though.
Haskyll Stonereaver
I will be summoning d3 lantern archons
@Kaos, I think you are affected by the slow for your actions, but then you would act normally. But the GM would have to rule on that.
