Haskyll moves up the stairs to an open spot on the top of the tower, and fires a bolt of acid at the drummer.

only to have the bolt hit the battlement behind the orc.

More Villains |

General note: It is a DC 10 Acrobatics check to move through a zone of Grease and not a Reflex Save. Based on the rolls made it would not have changed anything. This is more of a reminder for my own benefit and for future reference.
As the Sorcerer just hacks into the Drummer, the painted face Orc steps back against the crenelations leaving his drum behind. His guttural singing stops just long enough to quaff down a potion.
The fourth Orc attacks the Human female, striking the Rogue with its ugly sword.
Orc 4 Falchion: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 1 = 212d4 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1, 3) + 4 + 1 = 9
The Sixth Orc attacks Kaos with an ugly Sword, but its right foot slips on the edge of the greasy area causing his strike to be way off target.
Orc 6 Falchion: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 72d4 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 + 1 = 13

Mordea |

Mordea staggered by the blow, finds her inner strength and swings her shortsword striking and dropping the fourth Orc.
Shortsword: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 151d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Ragnir will take out the sixth Orc. That will leave the Drummer by himself.

The stairs cleared, Anga darts up them. On arriving she flicks a force missile at the orc on the left.

Round Ten
Kaos, for a big dude, gracefully steps through the Grease, then with his over-sized axe slices into the Orc Drummer.
The Orc Drummer steps back and drinks a potion.
The fourth Orc cuts in to Mordea. The sixth one slips and misses Kaos.
Ragnir attacks the sixth Orc. It falls down.
Fighting off the pain, Mordea drops the fourth Orc.
Ulfgard steps up and hits the Orc with his Axe, but misses with his shield.
Anga reaches the top of the Tower and hits the Orc Drummer with a Force Missile.
Haskyll misses with his own bolt of acid.

Kaos is first up in the Round. If Kaos hits the Orc Drummer's AC 17 then the assault on the Tower is over. If not, then:
The Orc Drummer attacks Ulfgard, but the blow was deflected by the Ranger's spiked shield.
Battleaxe: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 = 171d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
It would then be the rest of the party, who would get an opportunity to strike this Orc Drummer. It only has 3 HPs.

Kurst Grath |

Moments after the party secures the Tower, Kurst with a couple of Trunauan Guards calls up from below, "Good! You stopped their Drummer. They seem to be regrouping. Take a rest at the medical station, then head to the Inner Quarter gates. We need you fresh before the next assault."
The Orc Drummer will have a number of things on him, scrolls of cause fear, scroll of charm person, scrolls of grease, scroll of remove fear, scrolls of summon monster I, a wand, plus other Gear, mwk chainmail, mwk light steel shield, mwk battleaxe, throwing axes (5), antitoxin and the war drums.
After your rest, you will all be third level. Congratulations!
@Anga - At the Medical Station, Agrit will be able to provide you with a second level spell to add to your spellbook.

in the morning Kurst approaches the party, "We held out through the night. We managed to close one of the inner gate portcullises and have erected a barricade. Several Orc stragglers are still in the Inner Quarter. Find and deal with them, then report to the inner gate barricade."
The areas unsecured are to the right beyond the Tower and through the smoky burning region in the center. To the left has been cleared, but you will want to double check this area as well. Where do you go?

Lets double check the left first. I would hate for someone to die because we took to long to get them.But before we do can we find out what that Magic Necklaces does. We could ask the person that gave it to us.

Pearl of Power(1st level) Once per day on command, a pearl of power enables the possessor to recall any one spell that she had prepared and then cast that day. The spell is then prepared again, just as if it had not been cast. The spell must be of a particular level, depending on the pearl. In other words, the wearer would get back a 1st level spell already cast. With necklace is it worth 1500gp. CL17 Uses a neck slot.

Hearing a barking Ulfgard stops and moves back a little bit. Tilting his head he sees a big dog trapped in a smoldering ruin, a big piece of lumber trapping it. Quickly moving over the dwarf tries to lift it, but it seems much to heavy. By now the fire is almost upon the dog, whose frightful yelping is getting more and more pittyful by the moment. Suddenly the strain breaks something in the dwarfs mind and with a mighty heave he lifts the lumber and as fast as lightning the dog jumps out, scant seconds before the build collaps, sending the dwarf rolling.
The mastiff jumps at the prone dwarf, licking his savior.
"By Torag, aren´t you a beauty. Well, you are safe now... go find your master..... Ah well, if you insist."
And when the dwarf joins the others again, happily smiling a big dog trotts behind him, now and then rubbing his head at the dwarfs leg.
"Well, it seems I got adopted! Harhar".
