Actually it was midmorning before Kurst approached the party. By now it is mid-afternoon. Your appetite is becoming voracious.

When you arrive at the boarding house you will notice that most of the patrons are Half-Orc. An elderly Half-Orc woman is running the place. When asked about Urnsul, she will respond, "We have not had anyone by that name staying here."

We will assume Sara Morninghawks has provided the party a description of Urnsul. It is a female Half-Orc with short cropped hair, many scars on her face and a jagged V-shaped tattoo on the center of her forehead. In other words she has very unique features.

The proprietor of the boardinghouse will say. "There has not been anyone with this description staying here."

The old female Half-Orc proprietor of the boarding house, she simply goes by the name Ragsda, will know nothing about the marks or anything at all about this Urnsul where she lived or otherwise.

It is a dead end clue. You have other clues to follow. You may ask Sara Morninghawk what more she may know about this Urnsul. Early on Kurst gave you some leads to follow besides Cham and the Ramblehouse.

As evening approaches and you travel from the upper town back to the lower town, strangely you notice a small pack of wolves in the street. They appear to be rabid.

Anga cast Mage Armor.

Ulfgard draws his axe and lops off the head of one of the approaching wolves (#3).

Kaos moves up and attacks, crippling one of the wolves (#2), rendering it unconscious.

Ragnir swings his axe, but the wolf manages to avoid the blow.

The remaining two wolves attack Ragnir.

Wolf #1 bite: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (6) + 0 = 61d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3

The wolves attack Ragnir but both fail to get a bite in on the Dwarf.

Haskyll stabs at one of the wolves with his spear, clipping the side of the building.

Anga cast Magic Weapon on Haskyll's spear.

Ulfgard draws his shield and misses a wolf.

Kaos' swing of his giant axe passes above his mark.

Ragnir with both wolves on him also missed.

Round Three


One Wolf continues its attack on Ragnir, but ends up growling more than biting.

The other shifts its attack to the big Human, but its bite fails to penetrate Kaos' armor.
