She'd have things to say about Xenophon etc., but nothing that I think is particularly crucial, and I agree that timeline-wise that conversation isn't still happening.
She/I are both hoping to touch bases with Alexis since Bronwyn's been swinging and missing on expressing how she's feeling about him and what he's been going through.
Also hoping to check in with Shaun on the whole Kaoru, Team Leader thing, since a) Shaun's probably upset and feeling overlooked and b) That means he's likely to lash out at Kaoru... :-p
But due to timey-wimey concerns, I didn't want to narrate you guys as being present and ready for a chat without checking in.
So timeline wise, I want Alexis to get his new duds before the Escape Room. Meaning that if Bronwyn and Shaun want to help him shop beforehand (And Shayera), they could probably do that in the morning or early afternoon while Kaoru and Alexandra are working out issues. Cassie could also get into the shopping scene, invited for her opinion. And from there it would be easy for us all to participate in Kaoru's escape room scene.

Oh also, I was just double checking the letter - should I have Bran at some point get on the comm and ask Alexandra what time the meeting is? (But discretely)

I had to go back and look, but now I realized I missed two texts from Kaoru to Shayera that I really should have responded to! Sorry!!! In my defense, I was traveling over the weekend and posting from my phone (I had already pre-written the huge post detailing the meeting with the overseer).
So.... rather than retconning everything, let's just say that Shayera completely was zoned out due to the whole "stepping back" drama with Bron and then the subsequent demotion, so she never got around to checking her inbox.
So, nothing intentional (on mine or Shayera's part). Sorry again!

For the record, this will be the 3rd shopping trip in this game, haha. I say while aware of the fact that Kaoru will likely need to do her own shopping once she finds out about the gala.

Also, just a heads up, I'll be traveling for work Monday evening through Wednesday next week. There's a decent chance I won't have time to post during that period.

FWIW, the escape room isn't really risky? Or, like, no more risky than a shopping trip.

Right, I got that. I'm just not sure what kind of development you're expecting that would require a retcon. The important, character-y stuff of the escape room is more likely to come after the room itself when Alexis tries to talk to Kaoru. Or I suppose I could just be proven wrong and someone will pull some kind of crazy stunt in the middle of the escape room or something.
Expecting? Who knows :-p
Since the escape room got slightly more complicated than I was expecting (largely just due to the actual puzzles), and I'm traveling Monday evening through Wednesday, does someone want to volunteer to be my backup DM in case I can't post during that time frame? It should hopefully be relatively straight forward. I can PM you a link to a google doc with all my notes, once I finish actually typing those notes up.

Verrry amused at the idea that Bronwyn instantly spreads around her secrets, but I guess since Kaoru doesn't know them... :-p
(Not that she doesn't default to assuming people are vaguely decent)
In any case, I don't think I have a 'Meanwhile' scene that really needs running, so once y'all're done with the Escape Room aftermath, I'm ready to go with the Team Meeting once Alexandra kicks it off!
Kaoru said nothing about spreading secrets. There are other ways to trust people. :-P

On the subject of the meeting discussing contingencies, would anyone be put off if a certain group associated with Mercy crashed the meeting in order to present them with a way to shut Mercy down?
Umm..... hmm.... I think that it would immediately stop the meeting? Especially after being briefed on them, having Alexis discussing that we would need to pick them off... Bran wouldn't be going into this with any kind of assumption that they should be trusted to have anything like Alexis's best interests at heart.
It also feels like it would make it hard to justify not following up immediately on the Triakosia, and we'd been planning on moving to the Gala as the next 'issue.'
On the other hand, both this scene and the Gala are Silver Shadow-run things, so it's not as though I'm any kind of final voice :-)
On another note, I'd like a head count for anyone who wants to be involved in the SuperWrestle side story (Shaun I'm really hoping for here.)
Of course I'm down for SuperWrestle! Actually, I was thinking that might make a good bit for the birthday "celebrations," if you feel like doing it in-game tomorrow?
I'm definitely interested! I have to think how Bronwyn's going to deal with going to that while having ~$40 to her name, but I could see her deciding to go as Bran, and hoping that he gets free entrance :-p

I feel like it would be if it were more immediate... I generally view Provokes as aiming for immediate responses, so asking Alexandra to trust Shayera while she was in the Red would be, or asking her to break off this planning meeting right now, but... I'd almost rather roll it flashback style when push came to shove.
I'm happy to throw some dice if you're on the fence about how convinced Alexandra is though :-)
