Sorry guys, lost internet when trying to reply to things to day, then went and gave blood and passed out from it! XD
Sindri Magnesdottir |
I also lost power at my house over the weekend for a bit, which set me back on posting. Also just my bad for not checking in--I didn't have anything to add last time I looked, but I could have noted something.

So, I checked and I just need to roll against AC 10. I'm not sure if my flanking bonus applies, but if not just subtract two.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
... Well, looks like Sindri has 21 AC for the round.

Alright. The loot here includes something I have marked as Provisions. Provision points are basically an annotated way to track food and supplies. Each point is one days worth of food and water for a single person. I'll be keeping track of these, because they'll be important to the survival portions of the AP once the opening stages are done.
Keep an eye on them or track them yourself somewhere, because starving people are a bad thing.

And Sindri here letting you know that it was probably a false flag--things look to be okay for now. It was probably just a crash, but I've had bad luck with computers in the past so I was expecting a worst case scenario. I should be okay, but if I go dark the old message stands.

Sorry I've been a bit less active lately, my mom had back surgery and I've mostly been taking care of her because well... I don't trust my stepdad to do it. He's just not good with that kind of thing.

Hey guys, this is a blanket notice going out to all of my games here on the boards. While I am thankfully outside the path of Hurricane Harvey, current projections for Hurricane Irma are sending it barreling up the coast of Florida to sweep much of the eastern coast of the United States. As I live directly on the ocean, I'm already gearing up for a potential evacuation at the moment. While hopefully all I get is a lot of rainfall, it's likely that by the time Irma hits Maryland it will still be at least a Category 3 storm, if not worse. I will have my laptop and such in the case of an evacuation, but I likely won't be able to post with any real schedule or frequency. Moreover, given that I live more or less directly on the ocean, it's more likely than not that if I'm forced to evacuate there will not be a home for me to come back to after the storm passes. The island is not built to withstand that kind of storm, and the last time something anywhere near that deadly swept through, it made an inlet where there used to be a road. My point being, if I'm hit by the hurricane it's very likely I will be off the boards for a long while, or at least my posting will be sparse and intermittent.
I'm sure I'm not the only one following the storm on the news, but I'll do my best to keep everyone updated on my status. It's likely the storm, if it hits me at all, will make landfall here early next week. If you see on the news that the storm has hit Maryland and you don't hear from me, that's probably why. I just wanted to put this message up now as I'm prone to losing power during storms and I didn't want to leave anyone hanging.
Thanks for understanding,
Jon

I would be okay with handwaving it, because this is ridiculous. Alternately, if Telka channels or casts CWL we could get up and attack again. Aegis could throw his dagger or pull that wand of Magic Missile and kill him that way. I would however prefer to not die from a TPK at the moment. That would be my preferred outcome.
This fight is stupid. I'm just gonna say it. This fight is bad and it should feel bad.
Telka |
I keep waiting for one of the locals to come up from behind and shank him.
I prefer not to die. I've been all over the boards tonight and this is the worst rolling in a thread all night.
AE-G5; "Aegis" |
I personally feel like we should let Oreld keep at least one infusion, just in case. Aegis is in pretty good shape and we have a lot of potions, so we can top off as we need to.
Kyvanna Lunarum |
Sorry guys, life kinda threw me a curve ball! I shall get on and reply when I get home tonight!
The Faceless GM |
And now we do! I put the link in the campaign tab. I didn't include any of the mundane weapons and armor since I assumed that the party wouldn't want to haul half a dozen longswords or Ironfang leather armor around with them. Assume everything 'unclaimed' is being hauled around in a sack you liberated from one of the raiders.
Kyvanna Lunarum |
With this I just noticed that Telka and I are going to be fighting over loot. Both of us are archers so do we just want to go back the forth or if there is more than one thing in the loot that we both can use we only get one or the other?
Telka |
I want to make sure it's fair to both of us. Maybe we should take turns getting things and if one really wants it let the other know.
AE-G5; "Aegis" |
I figured we'd look for the swordsman around where Aegis found him originally, in the general vicinity of where they had their little display. So, Aegis would want to head to the Town Square; there could also be others nearby they could rescue, and a talented swordsman might be with a group of survivors to keep them safe.
Kyvanna Lunarum |
Right, which I do understand Telka. But you already got the wand. This is why I ask now. There are two things within the pot that you can use but only one for me. So how would you divide that up to be fair without stepping on toes?
Kyvanna Lunarum |
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know I've been down with the flu these past few days. I feel like I'm on the tail of it so I'm going to try and get to a few rps tonight before I head to bed early since I have to go back to work tomorrow. If I don't get to our game tonight I will do so tomorrow if work doesn't exhaust me.
AE-G5; "Aegis" |
A heads up for all my games; I'm going to be camping from Monday to Wednesday, so I won't be able to post. I should have Internet on my phone, but posting from my phone is a real chore (even ignoring the logout issue I still have on mobile) so I will be silent for a few days. I may keep up if I can get Paizo to reliably work on my phone, but if not I'll catch up when I get back.

Hey, I have a question for everyone.
We've kind of stalled out pretty hard at this point. I think that the combination of a busy time of year and having Sindri out for a while has hurt the ability to keep up the pace. I'm thinking of putting the game on a temporary hiatus for a bit and hopefully waiting until we can get everyone back together with more free time to get back into things. Would people still be interested in coming back if I did that?
