He's apparently experiencing issues with the site. It would not load for him last night.

Is this happening, or...?

"What do you mean? Is WHAT happening?"

Yin flutters up to Sashin

"I'm soooo glad I found you. I was back at the bar, but everybody there is like, totally spaced out. As if they were frozen in time or something like that. Really weird. And Mineire was gone, too. Did you happen to see him? I'm thirsty. I am sure he also has non-poison in that cart of his. Wanna go look for him together?"

Yin gazes off somewhere in the distance

"Oh, if you meant if this adventure is going to happen? Only if I can come along. Otherwise I'll make it so it never happens. I mean it! Look, I can just tag along like this..."

Yin casts an Umbral Arcane Mark on Sashin's belt, then hides in the shadow and whispers to Sashin:

"See? Nobody will suspect ANYTHING!"

1 person marked this as a favorite.

My faith is waning

Guess it isn't happening.
Oh well.

Anyone wanna pick up the GM spot?

Yin pokes GM Merchant Zoruugasz with a toothpick she wields as branch.

"You alive?"

*Yin contemplates spending a unit of Mystic Power to cast an Animate Dead Spell on the GM.*

"Na...those skelly people are pretty boring. Maybe he's just asleep. I know I can sleep for a week or two."

Having gotten bored poking toothpicks into GM Merchant Zoruugasz, Yin flies over to Monkeygod and starts poking him.

Let me message him, and see what's up before you all abandon ship. He's supposed to have his router issues fixed by today.

Don't be so quick to give up, any number of things could happen that would prevent him from posting. We all put a lot of tim and effort into this game I would hate to see it end before we start.

I'm willing to wait a little longer as well.

I wasn't sure if anyone had heard from him, and I was definitely not jumping ship.

Just checking in. Sorry if it seemed that way!

Sashin's still in, for sure.

Yin whispers to Sashin:

"And thats good. All the others are like, shockfrosted in time. I was at the bar, you should see that. Something happened. So I need you so I can stow-away and come with you"

With that, Yin turns invisible and hides in the shadow from her arcane mark she cast on Sashins Belt earlier. Moments after entering the darkness, she shouts:

"READY NOW, WE CAN LEAVE!"

That's good. Hopefully it won't turn out to be Wivvy 2: Electric Boogaloo.

I'm not bitter. At least 13th level is easier to build than 18th. Hmph.

still here, checking in.

I was afraid this might happen.

Once you get to a certain point ambitious games like this tend to be stillborn.

HAppened in like.....ohhhhhhhhh the past 4 or 5 games I've applied to or been accepted by like this.

i agree, but I STILL WANT TO BELIIIIIEEEEVVVEEEEEE

So... Made a 13th level Mythic/Gestalt (which is quite tedious work) for a fizzle?

I wish I could get in to a game that didn't put me through the pain of recruitment just to face the disappointment of 1)rejection or 2)the GM disappearing.

I'd LOVE to play, but it seems like I've got an unhealthy interest in games wherein the something happens to the GM (Controllable or otherwise) that prevents a game from beginning.

so, you are saying....YOU are the cursed creature who ruined this for everybody?

Just kidding, of course.

Give it time. Stuff happens. Maybe legit problems, maybe he felt it was too much to handle, maybe his internet broke down, whatever.

If he comes back to take a look at this, he should see people eager to play. Not just "oh, it would be great IF, but I kinda doubt it".

Come on, we can do this! Isn't there some bard around to cast good hope?

As a note, I'm not in this game, I didn't get the recruitment, but I was highly interested in watching the game.

Talked to the GM, who is having serious internet troubles. He had to go and buy a replacement part, which apparently was defective out of the box as it claimed it wasn't charged, despite being plugged in.

He's supposed to be getting normal internet access tomorrow, and says to hopefully except a post then.

thanks for the sleuthing, MG

I am checking in to say that I am back! I will reply to PMs, then create the new campaign thread and post. So sorry for the wait, guys and gals!

To explain, my router was not loading Paizo. I sent Monkeygod a picture showing the screen stuck on the blank loading screen, which it remained on despite reloading the page several times. And the replacement router, which needed to be shipped to the store first, had a defect in the power cord or the receptacle for the charger. When it doesn't get the power it needs, it turns on, but the light is red and it says, basically, that you can only use voice calls when it is not plugged up. So I got new internet and here we are!

I assume that no one has completely jumped ship, right?

I'm still around and curious to give this wacky game a chance!

Glad you're back and doing all right.

Here is the gameplay thread! I will be working on the first post as soon as I get this link posted!

I almost offered to step in, but then you returned. XD Sadly, I didn't manage to get in during the recruitment, though I was interested - best of luck to all of you, and have fun!

I kinda want in a Rendal game. That gestalt dungeon one I was in that died and you just a new recruitment for was pretty awesome and fun while it lasted.

Hey there, Monkeygod! What's that supposed to mean? Don't make me throw a coconut at you! :P

Awesome, glad to have you back.

"See, that happens if you spurn me!"

Yin sticks out her tongue to the GM

"And if I can't tag along with the others, i'll make it happen AGAIN! And I'll make it so it looks like a problem in another world that could not possibly have something to do with me!"

Yin laughs heartily

"You know, many worlds are actually one world, just contained within each other. Interwoven. Pull on a strand, and something in the other world may come apart. Really fun. So, what say you?"

This is just acting, of course...but it's official since today, GM told me Yin can tag along! Yay!

Yayy yin....

Have fun.....

Well, the first step is spelling my name correctly... *Ominous glare from behind the GM screen*

But seriously, people get that wrong surprisingly often, and I'm still not sure why. XD Oh well! Multi-planar stuff can definitely be interesting, since you get the chance to go to places you normally don't visit, and I might glance in on the gameplay here every now and then just to watch...
