Life After Kingmaker (Inactive)

Game Master Gilthanis

Battle Map!!

So, I had an idea for a lighthearted and easy going campaign idea. What about life after Kingmaker. What happens to the kingdom created by the adventurers turned heroes in Brevoy?

The kingdom is in need of people to populate it, which is where you folks come in. The kingdom has the basics: a carpenter, brewer, a couple inns, an apothecary, a couple temples, etc. Even though the basic infrastructure is there, the kingdom lacks people to run such functions (barkeeps, barrista, maid, apprentice smiths, apprentice brewers, etc).

You could come for any reason: lack of work in current town, a new start, running from parents/law/etc.

Starting Level: 1st
Class: any NPC
Wealth: starting class
Skills: +1 skill point for profession/craft of choice
Traits: a 2 from nethys (only 1 rich parent in game though)
Feats: any from nethys

Any questions/concerns/issues please fell free to ask.

I may send you guys on quests: like a cook may send his apprentice to the market to pick up a package. The merchant may demand payment, when the cook tells you he already paid for it. You could then use sense motive or bluff or intimidate to get the package back to the chef in time.

Campagn tab will have useful infor about places/people :)

Do they stay NPC classed forever, or do we get a chance for PC class multiclassing? Even commoners dream, after all ;)

I see you guys staying as an NPC for 4-6 levels. Then getting no training along the way as a PC class.

I might be interested in playing a big dumb half-orc bouncer, although with PbP Gameday coming up, I will be a little overtaxed with active games.

Maybe said apprentice baker who has dreams of being a very important chef. perhaps to the king and queen!

I'm thinking an adept, fluffed as a druid of sorts.

How do we determine stats?

Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Pathfinder Maps Subscriber

Dotting for a sorcerer's apprentice ... obviously named Mickey.

Stats: 15 point buy

Grand Lodge

I would have some interest in playing an apprentice smith. With the craft skill would it be generic with metal or do i have to declare armor vs weapons?

You will have to decide between armor, bows, alchemy, traps, weapons, trade goods

Trade goods are lumped into one category (basic/moderate/complex) and go by craft rules.

alchemy require spellcasting ability of course, etc, etc.

Races: core or advanced (featured)

Got my basic profile up and ready

Here's the half-orc bouncer concept fleshed out in more detailed. I'll probably work on the background a little more to make him less of a jerk.

It seems like you might prefer more crafter type characters, but I figured some muscle wouldn't hurt.

Scarab Sages

sounds fun, let me work something out? you only have the listed business's right?

In the campaign tab is the business I could think of off the top of my head. As well as a few important people (mayor). More may come as I think of them, and feel free to suggest as I always welcome input and will think it over.

Grand Lodge

Here is my Smith character. Focusing on crafting more than anything. I will work on the background a bit more but that is the rough idea.

Scarab Sages

I have ideas for a logger or millworker of sorts.. 2 quick questions,
1. How do you feel about married charectors?
2. Whats your stance on demihumans? just want the classics or ... well I have a centaur fellow I would love to get some use out of :) if no on either i have other ideas just curious

A rank noob here looking to get started in this Pathfinder community. This looks like a great opportunity to start with the basics, if you're willing to include me. I can post every day (or at least 90% of days). Rubin is meant to transition to a bard class if this continues for a while, with maybe a few levels of cleric as well, for an all-around support character.

What do you think of an expert that traveled out to Jasper to set up a new business as a merchant? Perhaps opening a hard wares shop?

Centaur, was not in my original plans. You would have a LA (level adjustment) if your okay with it. Married peeps are fine, whether it be two PC or just a background hug. You cannot however "run" to peeps at once. I could always DMPC a spouse fur you if that was your thought?

Scarab Sages

Oh its fine :) The long and short of it, For a game that never got off the ground I had made this fellow and well his wife and enjoyed them immensely, then of course as is the sometimes nature of the boards, it died. Will have adjustments up tonight to let you look over.

Edyrm, reporting for the watch.

Edyrm, which captain do you want to work under?

Sure sounds like a great concept. "Craft (goods) will suffice and depending what you might craft I will set the DC according to craft skill guideline if there are any issues that arise.

You are missing a trait, but otherwise good to go. Head on over when you are ready.

Rubinslade, kraull, leevan, Tim frie (when done), chef.

All please feel free to join gameplay. Also if you could include if you work for some, otherwise I will presume you are currently unemployed and will need to find a way in to your preferred job.

Mr. Rone, if given the choice. I'll serve (more or less) faithfully under Mr. Nessy. But, given the choice, the non-orc is clearly the more capable captain.

For those lurking, thinking.

Wealth as follows.

Adept: 1/2 bard
Expert: 1/2 rogue
Commoner: 1/2 monk
Warrior: 1/2 fighter
Aristocrat: 3/4 rogue

lurker here. Dot!

I dont mind the DM PC'in of the spouse at all. Sorry for the delay in the charector creation for you to look at, lost a couple of people at my job and I have been pulling extra hours and shifts. Hope to have it all worked out hopefully tonight

This is Tomato Jam. Still looking for NPCs?

I would like to submit Gracey Darling: a promising young follower of Abadar that's just been transferred from the New Stetven branch.
