Koldur crouches low until the zombies are nearly upon them and explodes into action, his axes sing as swings them in a wide arc, perfectly aligning them to be across his body in a protective shield as he lashes out in a surgical strike, Blades cleaving through undead flesh.

As Reafan turns at the top of his arc to make another pass, Xara concentrates inward for a moment, and a beautiful celestial eagle appears next to her. The eagle dives to the square NW of the north-most zombie (therefore flanking with Oscar) and bites at the zombie its flanking.

Meanwhile, Xara directs Reafan down with her knees to fly over the line of zombies. If the northern most zombie is still up, the giant crow attacks it; otherwise, he attacks the next one down the line.

Sable continues be a bit rusty, but the blade cuts through the flesh wall standing before him. He seems to have a bit of trouble pulling it out but he gets it done.

The zombies in front shamble towards you but don't make it to any of you.

A robed individual who looks like he or she has a bone mask on comes to stand on the wall before you. For now it just watches. The robe is pale white just like the mask, the wearer also has gloves and simple clothes underneath of black color, no skin can be seen.

Koldur hoping that Sable gets his message catches the other's attention as he prepares to chare right into the fray.

Xara calls out to the eagle.

The eagle rises up, then pivots and dive bombs the robed figure, reaching out not with its talons, but turning its shoulder into the mystery person.

Xara fails to control Reafan well enough to contribute herself, but she still directs Reafan to also make a bullrush attempt to knock the figure off the wall.

Somehow, a celestial eagle the size of a halfling, and a crow the size of a large horse slam into the figure and bounce off harmlessly.

Well are you going to focus on it for the next round? Then I can tell you that.

No nothing comes to mind.

As Xara said the celestial eagle and the large crow seems to bounce off the figure. The large crow slams into the top of the wall as the eagle gains purchase and flys off. Though the crow does not stop there it flounders as it falls off the wall and slams into the ground, but not so hard since it gets some purchase with its wings.

"Here we go D, it looks like Xara can use your help up there." Sable says and he moves to the wall, dropping his elven courtblade, blade side down into the ground at the wall. He interlocks his hands ready to give D a push up to the top of the wall.

Five feet of the jump is negated by Sable just being a body ladder, another Five feet is negated by his strength check. So with a running jump see how far you can get over the last 10 feet.

5 feet is a DC 20, 6 feet is a DC 24, etc. Then a climb check of 15 holds you on the wall, a 20 +5 feet of climbing up, 25 +10 feet of climbing up.

At least Koldur is keeping the zombies at bay... :P

normally it is a move action for a paladin to detect evil and know is something is or not. It would take a few more round to determin it's strenght. But with scrouge of evil i am automaticaly aware at is it always active?


With D's ability to jump and climb he gets to the top of the wall easily with Sable's help.

So with it active at all times, it just means you can't cast any other spells, which works great for you right now. Though I think if you use lay on hands or another special ability you would lose your concentration.

Effectively having the first tier always on. So if you focus on the figure as a move action, you would know if she was evil or not. Otherwise she would need to be in your cone for 3 rounds.

Does that make sense?

At will, a paladin can use detect evil, as the spell. A paladin can, as a move action, concentrate on a single item or individual within 60 feet and determine if it is evil, learning the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds. While focusing on one individual or object, the paladin does not detect evil in any other object or individual within range.

If you are going to use flying creatures, please understand how to use 'fly' the skill. Both birds need Fly checks...

D and the celestial eagle attempt to hit the figure, but it keeps dodging their blows. A coruscating green ray shoots out from the center of the fort hitting D. His movements seem to be as sharp, but his blows are less accurate.

Two more zombies drop from the groups actions. As the other zombies charge the last few steps they still fail to make any real hits on Sable, but the charging zombie on Koldur makes a slam against his head, making his ears ring and possbily a black eye. 7 damage Koldur throws the zombie back with is axes not allowing it to bite him.

Flying stuff:

At the beginning of your turn, you can fly any direction, regardless of what you were doing the previous round, without a check, so no check needed from Eagle 1, since it just flew somewhere and landed. Eagle 2 just appeared and attacked, so no flying at all. I suppose since it was using talons, technically it needed to hover, although failing the hover check just means it lands in the space, which was the intention anyway, so no check needed.

If you want me to be more precise with the flying creatures, that's fine. Please add icons on the map.
