I'm a little confused on group 2. Have we started main round or are we still in surprise round? Elo hasn't posted on surprise round, I posted for surprise round (should I post for main round?)
Joshua posted for both surprise round and main round, Barett for main round as he did not get to act in surprise round, Gaurm hasn't posted yet. I'm just worried we're waiting for someone but don't know who we're waiting for.
Elo has surprise round action, Gaurm and Kashuya have rnd 1 actions, then enemies, then elo rd 1.

It has worked out okay in the end. Things were tense for a while.
My girlfriend's father had a blood clot and was hospitalized. The surgery was a success and he is home now.

It was in one of the major veins in his gut. Most people who have this do not survive. We were very lucky that not only was it found in time, but there was no dead tissue to be found.

I just realized that we never finalized what spell Grimold would have cast into his spell storing dagger.
I drafted a list of spells that would create a tactical advantage against an enemy, ideally to be used to hamper a single difficult enemy, and I've opted to ignore spells that merely deal damage.
Slow
Hold Person
Dispel Magic
Cure/Inflict spells - could be used on either us or an enemy
Lesser Restoration
Doom - if target is made shaken first by demoralization or a separate effect, this spell can make them frightened
Bestow Curse
Blindness/Deafness
Daylight/Deeper Darkness
Shocking Grasp cast into the dagger by Daen (on a day when he doesn't need all his uses of it) gives us a little bit of free burst damage when necessary. If we don't otherwise have access to Dispel Magic on hand, that might be the best way to go.
I can pay the scroll cost for any casters to learn or use the scroll to cast into the dagger.
The to go is generally frigid touch, so bad guy is staggered, no save.
Some people like vampiric touch for a emergency(sort of), heal.
DM - awaiting your turn on table 2 - my turn 1 action is to delay until after the orcs. There's bleeder before Elo gets her turn 1 action.
Frigid touch was one I overlooked, thanks for that one. No save and conditions that also inflict some hefty damage make it very attractive.
Vampiric touch is certainly useful in its way, but isn't what I'm going for here.
If you want to rub salt on the wound, make it a rimed frigid touch. Happy Entangle day!

I'm so sorry, but I think that I'm going to pull the plug, at least as far as Rataji is concerned. Real life has gotten to too many of our players, and great characters can't last long without either interaction or the momentum of plot.
I really wanted this Vigil reunion to work, and I really loved the story that we were all building together, but with so many of us pressured... I'm letting this one go. I hope you all forgive me.
GM, you can feel free to have the big bad strike me down in your next post if others want to keep going.

:( Sad day. It seems things were starting to pick back up a little, but PbP dungeon crawls can be a bit of a slog.
I'm willing to continue, but I'm hoping that we can find a way to progress through bottlenecks more efficiently.

Personally, I'm giving it another 3 days; this Friday will be two weeks since we'll have heard from the GM.
And that makes it a full two weeks since we've heard from the GM. I hope nothing terrible happened to him.
