Taj, slightly boring library-related fact: I used to work for H.W. Wilson, the reference publishing company, back in the 90s. "Exciting" was never really a word that has appeared on my job descriptions... :)
What about a library where you tell the librarian what book you want, they strap it to a vest with a light pad on it and turn off the lights, then you laser tag hunt them through the dark library and when you hit the book you check it out.

Elbow feels pretty good, although I'm not going to throw footballs anytime soon. It got a lot better after a shot of cortisone and a few Tylenol. My sis, who's an Occupational Therapist says that sometimes the body will adjust to bone spurs to the extent that surgery isn't necessary, and it seems to be the case. I've even taken up swimming for fitness again without too much trouble.
I am still about 8 thousand in the hole from hospital bills and van trouble, hence the second job, but Tax season is coming soon.
Eilidh should *should* be updated to standards now. I do have a question about ABP, though. Does the reduced Wealth By Level apply?

1) Knowledges. Are there changes being made in who's covering what?
2) Requests for Taj's scroll library? (If it's something just for you, consider purchasing it.)
3) I am assuming we're buying the 2 IH wands and the first aid gloves. If we also want a couple wands of something else, speak up.
4) I currently have a three feat investment in archery that I'm likely not going to be very good at. With Allie joining us, should I switch to full caster and instead invest those feats in Spell Focus and or flag bearer?

4) Probably a good idea. I'll keep my archery feats so that, between Allie and me, we'll have ranged covered. What's this about flag bearer though?
I have the charisma for Flagbearer and only need one hand to cast. It's an always on +1 to attack and damage. The flag can be attached to a spear (that I would also be no good at, but hey...) it's a weapon that I can use if needed.
Oh, regarding the wands, how about Protection From Evil? Always seems so damned useful to me...

Protection from Evil was one of the wands on my list above. I think it would be an awesome choice and I believe that we have three who can cast from it without UMD.

Okay, let's remember one precedent from our previous game. Infernal healing leaves an ugly scar. There are some in our party who would care about that, not to mention the "side effects". I'd recommend that we at least start with one or two wands of Cure Light wounds as well, because they don't leave scars, and have the added benefits of working against haunts and undead.
Being that Daen has the ability to make wands, he can make one in two nights by rushing the job, even just at a campfire. We don't have to really buy more than one wand of any particular type and we can just set him to do crafting whatever else we need at a lower price.
I do plan on jumping into the gameplay thread soon, at least to get things started if they need to be for the second half of the group.

Yeah, it looks like you guys will be on the move during the night, we can have you cross the border before you expect to do so and run into where we've camped for the night. There should be a relatively large campsite at the crossroads, or even an inn, but we'll just play it that we camped outside to conserve money even if there was one. We can just say that one of us will be on watch, sitting up, and Zoh can recognize us and come into camp.
Since I'll be posting first, I'll be up. I'll do a quick intro and then you'll be able to interact with me as well. Then we can wake people up, or just go to morning and reconnect.

Ah, Sir Daen! You and my uncle would get along so well!
Moved house yesterday!,... now just need to clean the old one and write up some presentations. I'll have a first post up ASAP today but will still be slower than usual until about tuesday next week when things should clear up a little.

I won't be ashamed of my ignorance: how does this work in cases of two tables running? Will we see a second "Gameplay" tab up top?
I think they have a pretty versatile system in place for linking gameplay threads etc.
You might even be able to have multiple discussion threads for the same gameplay thread.

Probably, Taj how did you end up resolving that? Basically I delete my first post so that it updates but you don't see the dot.
I did it by posting to website feedback with a link to the broken thread. Chris took care of the rest. GM Arkwright and I just reported it.

I mean if it's functionally the same as another weapon but has a different design and flavor, I don't mind. But no its a thrown weapon range 50ft with 1d8 damage and 15-20x3 crit range.
