Jubal Breakbottle |
Jubal can kick in 10 gp, 8 sp, and some pieces of lint.
He already has a grappling bolt for his crossbow and 200-ft of hemp rope.
Shovels are cheap, and crowbars can be useful, too. FWIW, I didn't buy any for Jubal, because he can't imagine ever using them. I can, but only in a life or death situation.
We should align the amount of our rations. Jubal currently has 2 days rations for his horse and himself.
cheers
Arduinne Winterbourne |
Arduinne's just got basic survival gear -- blanket, bedroll, one-person tent, lantern with oil, wineskin, 50 feet of hemp rope, and 5 days of trail rations. She's got more than 20 gp to spare for any of the more expensive equipment the group as a whole needs, and she's open to suggestions as to what they might need.
Jubal Breakbottle |
OK. Let's all get 5 days of rations for us and horses. Someone needs to buy a 2 cp entrenching tool (shovel).
Taking a bit more from Anduinne. We actually could afford one anti-toxin. Interested?
10.8
-.15 (+3 days of horse feed)
-1.5 (+3 days of trail rations)
9.15 gp Jubal can contribute for the antitoxin
Let's get started!
Zindelo Ezek |
Zindelo cannot draw a map but he can make an itinerary and describe to a cartographer what is found and a map can be made from that. That's why I want the measuring stick (yardsticks) and measured knotted rope. Sun, shadows, and a bit of figuring can yield surprisingly accurate results with minor equipment. Of course better equipment would give better results but I don't see us hiring someone with hundreds of gold pieces of equipment and rare training to come with us.
Figure I'll buy the bedroll, small tent, the yardsticks, knotted measuring ropes, and box for a physical map of site we think best.
I'm sure I can contribute a few gold towards the anti-toxin but it is debatable if it's useful. Our skill as a group for healing is weak, we may not be able to take full advantage.

This is the last post by our GM 10 days ago.
I think the game is dead. Very, very disappointing.

I was going to wait a couple of more days but I think you are right Jubal, it seems to be a case of GM abandonment. I've been there, most have been at least willing to tell the players they cannot continue, a few didn't, just disappeared without explanation, and one vanished for two months then said his life(home and work) was wiped out by Hurricane Sandy. I was looking forward as well, given the speed and quality of all player posts, oh well. I'll keep checking for a couple of weeks but then I'll accept the death of this thread. I do hope nothing really bad has happened to Indraea also.
