For exploration I am going to assume that you forge roughly in the middle of an area as best you can with your cart, some places this will be easier then others, and then set up a base camp. You then can ride or walk to explore the surrounding area. This means the cart and items may not necessarily be with you when events occur.
Does this match what you planned to do? Or would you rather always lug everything with you as best you can?
Are there any precautions or other items you would like to have as a standard procedure?
I think that sounds like a good plan. If we can find a secure place to leave it. Won't just leave it on the road without anyone to guard it. There are a lot of bandits here, I hear :-)
On a normal day of travel, Rhavi will wake up and do her morning ritual of cleaning herself as best as possible and eating/making breakfast.
Then she'll spend an hour doing her ritual to Magdh, her god. She'll first paint the dots above her ears and then find a special bowl she got from her mother and try to divine some meaning out of it. Usually she'll use some leaves, twigs and/or bones found in or around the campsite, to get a better connection to the area.
If there is time/a need, she'll also brew a potion or two.
During the travel, she'll help by keeping an eye on the surroundings, mostly trying to remember details about the things they travel past.
During the evening, she'll try to get on the cooking team. She likes to cook and have some knowledge of it from her time at her family inn. She is a decent cook without being really good at it.
She'll of course take her turn on watch during the night, taking one while it is the darkest, having a advantage with lowlight vision.
After dinner she'll set up her equipment, mix her extracts for the next day and brew a few potions, if there is a need.
She'll normally sleep in her small tent, unless there is reason to think they might need to leave quickly.

And one last question. Does someone actually ride in the cart and steer the horse or are you all on your riding mounts and using a leash to steer the cart?
I tried to look it up in the gameplay thread. Only found one place where someone said they were driving it.
I also agree that it could be a pain to drag it around.
Caerwyn, please fill out your information line. I am not overly concerned about what order everything is in, but since I will be tracking hit points and making occasional checks it makes it a lot easier to not have to check your sheet each time to see if a monster hit or what your CMD is.
Also, you will notice that everyone else has an Exploration Action that they are undertaking listed. We are using the 2e options as they are a bit more robust. Please select one and put it into your information line as well. If you have questions how a given action will work, please ask away.

As far as the wagons goes.
We tended to only take it where logically it can move. The plains, rolling hills and occasionally the wooded areas, the forest and such were rare occasion as it would be difficult to take the wagon into those areas. We would usually take it to a set spot (The temple of the elk.) with our supplies and use that location as a base camp and explore outwards from there. We have a horse dedicated to the wagon and sometimes one of us would ride in the wagon to steer. Otherwise it was lead by a character (me) we the weight brake able to be dropped if needed. This was never used but it would prevent the horse and wagon from running off so to speak.
When we do not use the wagon, we took pack animals to help with exploration supplies.
I am totally fine with the wagon being with us on this last exploration.

Right that is 14th level for that 7th level spell. Likely out of the scope of the campaign. Still by that point maybe a Bonded Mount Unicorn would fit the ambient power level. ;7)
I'm sorry I haven't posted on schedule. My life's been pretty crazy, and will continue to be so until Saturday. I'm not bailing, I've just got a lot going on with my job ending and stuff.

What Rillka said. These diseases have serious body counts. As someone who has sailed a bit in these waters I can only second Rillka. Therapy works, the meds work, and the earlier you hit this this the less time you have to spend digging yourself out.

@Caerwyn, about your sneak attack, don't you get that also when you flank?
Noticed you rolled stealth even though you flanked and didn't add it on your last attack, even though you were flanking. Just curious, haven't gone over your character, so not sure if you have something that changes that.

Sorry, about the slow play the last few days. I am going to LVO next weekend and found out that I needed to do a lot of work in prep for it that I thought was optional.
With that in mind I will be traveling between Thursday through Sunday. I am going alone so I should have more free time to post then my last trip.
