Description:
Five Background Points
1. Akilina was born to a branch of House Surtova. Growing up, she had plenty of fights with her older and younger brothers, starting with fists and graduating to swordplay as they all reached adulthood.
2. In an effort to distract from her war with her brothers, Boris Surtova found a wizard to tutor Akilina. She packed her things and traveled to the city of Restov to learn from him. However, she quickly found a way to combine blade and magic.
3. Akilina started sneaking out from her apprenticeship with Master Lirpeth and fell in with a group of rogues, would-be Swordlords, and ne’er-do-wells in Restov. Lots of small-time trouble followed, but nothing that Boris couldn’t begrudgingly fix with a letter or a few coins.
4. She married one of the ne’er-do-wells, Teodor Koenig, in secret. When the family found out, it caused a scandal, with her father writing to Lord Noleski Surtova for help making the problem go away.
5. She was sent by her uncle to the Stolen Lands to investigate those dealing with banditry, assist as necessary, and get a map of the Greenbelt for House Surtova. Either she’d be successful and bring glory to her House, or she’d fail and be out of their hair.

Two Goals
1. Akilina may not admit it to anyone but herself, but she misses the noblewoman’s life. She wants the luxury, the wealth, and the power, but not the familial drama that goes with it.
2. I’d like to play a married noble and see how the conflict between duty and family plays out, especially if family’s not all it’s made to be.

Two Secrets
1. Akilina has no intention of bringing glory to her House. As far as she’s concerned, they disowned her when they didn’t approve of her marriage to Teodor. She’s looking for the most politically crushing moment to betray them, but she’s willing to be patient.
2. Teodor, without Akilina’s knowledge, has been working with the Stag Lord, letting them know when wealthy-looking merchants leave Restov heading down the South Rostland Road. With the Stag Lord out of the picture, he could turn to supporting other banditry in the Stolen Lands.

Three People
1. Lowe Surtova (older brother) - When Akilina got sent off to Restov, Lowe was undisputedly the best sword fighter of the three siblings. He’s since made a name for himself in a few campaigns against Numerian barbarians, and, though Akilina hasn’t seen him in years, she’d love a rematch to knock his ego down a peg or two.
2. Teodor Koenig (husband) - A small-time petty thief and ne’er-do-well in Restov, Teodor is hopelessly in love with Akilina - and why shouldn’t he be? She’s rich, pretty, and her father kept bailing them out of trouble when they got caught doing something they shouldn't have been. That is, until they got married. Now things are a little bumpier, but they’ll work out. Right?
3. Aron Lirpeth (tutor) - An older gnome with just a touch of bleaching, Aron Lirpeth taught Akilina magic. He runs a small magic school, nothing too impressive really, in Restov, and he was out of the way and inexpensive, a perfect place to put a misbehaving daughter. Too bad he doesn’t have much in the way of control himself, or he might’ve helped straighten Akilina out.

Bot Me and Rolls:

Against unarmored/light armor targets, Akilina’s going to just go with regular attacks. If she can full attack, she’ll Arcane Mark for spellstrike and get a second attack in.

Against heavier-looking targets, she’ll use Arcane Pool to buff her attack and damage rolls and Frostbite to try for Spell Combat damage if she can full attack.

If she has time to prepare, or for a fight that’ll definitely be challenging, she’ll use Black Blade Strke for +1 to damage, Fallback Strategy to reroll missed attacks, and Arcane Pool for +1 to attack and damage. She’ll Spell Combat Frostbite or Shocking Grasp, unless you’re willing to
