Thanks to everyone for an enjoyable run (almost two years). Hope to cross your paths on the boards, if not in the Stolen Lands.

I thought we had brought the wagon with supplies to set up a long term camp here and explore the hexes to the north of us, before turning south to scout around the Stag Lord fort, before returning to Oleg's.
I would suggest we keep with that plan. Perhaps leverage Akiros and Jhod's knowledge of the area to have an idea of what to expect.

I agree

@Rostam Ok... we will go with potential orc area then!
@All - we can't take horses through the forest right? How about my riding dog? Start the morning of the 20th after Zade and Roke depart?

The map is not updated yet...but I am to understand that the southern hex is explored...that is where we found the boar. I am not sure if northern hex is considered explored or not. That is where we found the trapper. The hexes to the northwest and the west are still unexplored. So I am thinking we hit NW the come down south to the next two hexes and then towards the Staglord. We can pop back in to the temple to resupply as needed. Does anyone else have thoughts?

Hmm.. prolly not the stag lord yet, unless you mean scouting? We still have a lot to do on either side of the map there are dark unexplored places and our primary mission was exploration, so i'm thinking explore more.

Hey guys!
Thanks for the invite, GM. I was a player previously here in the game and got the chance to build another character to join the party here.
Happy to be here, guys!
@GM: I’ll complete some last details on the next couple days on the gear and let you know. Thanks again for the invite. If there’s anything you’d like me to change, please feel free to tell me.
Kazmuk Doortsgarf
Welcome back!
Fun fact: The way I believe "Allyo" is read is the same sound as garlic in Portuguese (my first language).
Allyo Shan
Fun fact: Portuguese is also my first language, and I never thought about it sounding like "alho" :) I always pronounced the "y" like an "i" but I'm open for other interpretations (and accents!) being applied to his name for RP purposes!
DM Rostam
I don't want to rush the RP portion of onboarding Allyo, but it also looks like its calming down. I am busy tomorrow, but Wednesday I will move things ahead under the assumption that Allyo is accepted into the group for... reasons... and that its perfectly normal for all of you to want to go adventuring together.
DM Rostam
Can everyone please go to the Campaign Info tab, and go to the Die Rolling Spreadsheet link, then fill out the relevant info in the green column underneath their name. It will help me automate creating any rolls I need for you guys.
Please don't edit any cells that aren't green in color, it might mess up the formulas or ordering. Also, if you want to steal it go ahead just let me know what you think of it.
Sir Andreas Eisfalke Von Ulm
I will be going into surgery this Monday and will be home that evening. I am not sure when I will feel the urge to post, it could be a couple of days. Bot me as needed please.

About the plans of exploration, I believe we could also turn north and east, thus finishing the northwest part of the map.
Rillka Cloudhopper
Original plan was to clear the map North, left and up; then circle back to resupply at the Temple where we brought the wagon with extra supplies, then poke down towards the Stag Lord.

                   Gird Medvyed

Sorry - meant to indicate going NE, NE, SE through unexplored Hexes then SW to the Temple.
Up right, up right, true right, down "circling back to the Temple where we brought supplies, rather than go back to Olegs.
Then we head SW/down into the unexplored areas and see what lies to that side of the map.

May I propose for Discussion thread, referencing directions by #1-6 where 1 is the north face of a hex, 4 is south, the 2-3 corner is due East and the 5-6 corner is due West.
So I am proposing we go 2, 2, 3 through the unexplored hexes and the use the 4-5 corner to drop to the Temple - unless that plan has changed.

I agree to this method and to the direction. I see no sense in going south and then having to waste a couple days walking through explored hexes to come back here to explore the northern part.
Sir Andreas Eisfalke Von Ulm
Back in Februray...I think it was greed on that we would hit the southern area in between the temple of the elk and the stag lord. To clear that area up before we investigated the staglord (since a bounty of 5000gp was placed on his head) but that was a long time ago lol. I am fine with heading north around the forest to clear that area out before heading south. It would appear that that is the direction most want to go. So if there are no objections let us head north then.
There are what appears to be five hexes to the north, northeast of our current location that we can explore before heading south again.

Funny enough, in the Inner Sea Gods book, the "not burying good weapons and armor" is actually listed on the teachings of Torag!

Thanks for hanging in with me guys. Unfortunately I am going to have to pause the game until about September 13/14. I am going on a trip and trip planning is consuming all my time with the currents situation and trying to get everything worked out.
Work is also crunching at the same time because that's just how life works I guess.
If you want to skip ahead to the temple or Oleg's feel free to time hop a bit to it and I can jump in and answer questions or do some light NPC interaction, I just can't commit to getting good posts out.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

All Good, life is and this is a long term commitment, better to pause get what you need done. Than to burn out and close it down..
Rillka Cloudhopper
@Rostam - thank you for letting us know. Safe travels!!
@All - Could we do a pause at the cairn until Rostam returns? As we have 3 hexes to explore, I would not want to FF to the temple as the hexes may include additional encounters, even if "random" ones, that would give us chance to interact with each other.
If everyone else wants to RP some discussions while we are at the cairn, I am always into the role of roleplay; but will defer to the group.
Kazmuk Doortsgarf
Do you guys think we could make a stop at Olegs? Would really like to take a look at my workers
Allyo Shan
Hi team! I will be travelling for the upcoming days for work (yes, irk! In Covid times!) and should be back by Friday. I'll try to keep an eye here and update as possible, but don't let me hold the action if I slow down a little bit. Cheers!
Sir Andreas Eisfalke Von Ulm
I am putting this here as a way to not clog up the game thread...
First and foremost
I enjoy this game very much and I very much hope everyone is as well. I wanted to thank our DM for putting up with us and bringing together a tremendous story that we are able to contribute to.
Second...
Unless I am mistaken...
I thought we were going to Oleg.s Outpost first and then heading to the old orc encampment that we encounter weeks ago. The one near Bokken's hut and the spider nest. It was the first encounter with the orcs with two large groups leaving and we attack those that were left behind. We freed some prisoners and made a rather feeble attempt to put the blame on the stag lord to get the two groups to fight each other.
Did I miss a post or something?
To get to our starting spot
we would travel from our current spot at the temple to Olegs would be
2,2,3...resupply and Kazmuk can check on the workers...
we leave and head to are starting spot.
3,2...This should be the hex just below Bokken's Hut which we never finished exploring due to us running away from 40 or 50 orcs.
From here we travel
3,2,3,5,5,6,5,1...to explore that previously unexplored areas towards the shrike river.
Please let me know if anyone is not following what I thought was going on.
