You'll be pleased to know that my character's entire shtick is no longer trip AoOs.
Got Aref's fluff mostly sorted out now, I might play with his remaining gold some but he is ready to go when the others are.
I'm somewhat sorted out, still allocating gold and maybe a feat change.
i'm still pretty behind on getting everything ready for the campaign. I've been reviewing the books in my free time (which has been rare) but it looks like we won't be starting until next week at the earliest. I should have the review post up by Thursday.
i had a burst of energy today and wrote quite a bit. What is in the gameplay thread is more or less the entirety of books 1-3. some things were omitted or changed for ease's sake.

So do we need to work out how we all know eachother?
Seems pretty straight forward to me. You either joined the caravan in Sandpoint or somewhere along the road. Joining in the Crown of the World seems unlikely considering the fact that it is a remarkably inhospitable place.
In my current version of Aref's backstory, I'd been considering the previous characters from the last attempt at this campaign as being canon members of the party who either parted ways with us along the road or perished and were buried on it (*sniff* poor Enod Helmcleaver, we shall miss you). Your presence can, of course, be retconned into the history pretty much anywhere along the line since there is pretty regular trade between Tian Xia and Avistan and those trade routes were what we were travelling.
I imagine Enod having a curse that means he's stumbling drunk at all times. However, no one has noticed any difference.
I'd think you'd just be an ally that was led to a town as soon as we crossed the Crown. Descendants of an honor guard or something.
Someone get Michael's butt into gear, he's the only one we're waiting on, right?
What are the established NPC/PC relationships? I still need to get my traits, and put together my character's own with them
I'll post a short summary of each major NPC soon. also, if everybody could bring a copy of their character to Carrion Crown tomorrow for approval I'd appreciate it.
So what do we have to do to get this moving?
Keep in mind: when making your character, please take one of the campaign traits. this gives you a tie into the backstory and should make things more interesting
