After looting the sleeping quarters Eryan heads out the eating room with Argan. "We should gather some food for the journey now, a few days worth should do."

Are you guys going into the mess hall or down into the last room that you haven't explored?

Loot | HP 40/71 | AC 21 | T 13 | FF 18 | CMD 25 | Fort +7 | Ref +12 | Will +2(+8) | Init +4 | Perc +11 | SM +9

"Sure, food sounds nice. We may need a lot."

Into the last room, as I said I would do.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
And then Argan will take a peak outside by opening the door heading east and out of the building.
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

As Argan opens the door to the last room, he sees a room housing a well-stocked kitchen and pantry. Besides, the usual collection of plates, bowls and other cooking paraphernalia there are a set of knives on one of the counters, and a nasty looking meat cleaver. In the corner of your eye you see two people cowering in the corner obviously scared out of their minds. The fireplace here is a relic of the old castle great hall it is almost comically large.

The two in the corner try to hide their obviously terrified demeanor.

Looking though the pantry:

There is roughly fifty days worth of food stored here – forty days worth of perishable and ten days worth of iron rations.

Outside the Eastern Door:

You peek out the door to be met with a delightful gust of sea mist. The night sky is dark, but the moon is out tonight. You look out the door and see a garden in the courtyard, along with a wall on the other side of the garden.

DM Roll:

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Loot | HP 40/71 | AC 21 | T 13 | FF 18 | CMD 25 | Fort +7 | Ref +12 | Will +2(+8) | Init +4 | Perc +11 | SM +9

Argan comes into the room, takes a quick look at the door but then he relaxes, all part of his drama, mind you.
He is wearing guard clothes and using their equipment, so he believes he may fool these two. He approaches them, lifting a hand to help them stand back while calming them down.
"Ok, ok, all clear now. Are you two alright? We were bringing new prisoners, but one of them escaped, so we made a little searching, but he's dead now, you may calm down. Are you hurt?"

Bluff give me a 20!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Argan will try to calm down pretending to be a guard, making a gesture for the next one to came in to go back and keep his stage by preventing the Ogre from showing up. I'll hold the rapier in my left hand and kill them if they try to run away.

DM Rolls:

SM: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

The larger man of the two in the corner step out and says "We were afraid for our lives, I just came in from my trip to town for firewood. Wouldn't have been good to have ourselves get killed. Thank you sir, neither of us were harmed. Come on Irena, it's safe now." The man motioned towards the woman in the corner.

Bluff Successful

Deleted my post. Makes no sense to pretend though. what with others not being in guards uniform.

Eryan waits outside the kitchen. Wondering why Argan would bother to pretend.

When Vlad grabs the girl Eryan hurries in after him before he can kill her. "Wait Vlad. Have you no thought for anything but your own hunger. These are the first civilians we have found and you want to kill them straight up? Perhaps we can learn something from them? Help us escape in exchange for their lives maybe?" Vlad barely able to control himself, tearing the neck of the girl to the side and gorging on the sweetness of her blood. Virgin. He looks on in horror. "I'll do anything, just don't kill me!" He fell down to his knees tears streaming, mucus forming. Such a pitiful sight. "I'll tell you all that I know!" He is still whimpering in the corner.

The girl falls unconscious from the bite as well. Not as hardy as the guards. Also was trying to find the rules on the con drain for Dhampir there Vlad.

GM:
Way i understand it anytime you feed on somone it does 2 con damage per round.. I took it from the explanation of the Blood Drinker Feat.. The feat allows you to gain a benifit from the blood.. He doesn't but was i read he can still do the con damage.. Below is the feat.. The 2nd paracgraph is where i surmised it from..

Blood Drinker
Consuming blood reinvigorates you.

Prerequisite: Dhampir.

Benefit: Choose one humanoid subtype, such as "goblinoid" (this subtype cannot be "dhampir"). You have acquired a taste for the blood of creatures with this subtype. Whenever you drink fresh blood from such a creature, you gain 5 temporary hit points and a +1 bonus on checks and saves based on Constitution. The effects last 1 hour. If you feed multiple times, you continue to gain hit points to a maximum of 5 temporary hit points for every three Hit Dice you have, but the +1 bonus on Constitution-based skill checks and saving throws does not stack.

"Normally, you can only drink blood from an opponent who is helpless, grappled, paralyzed, pinned, unconscious, or similarly disabled. If you have a bite attack, you can drink blood automatically as part of your bite attack; otherwise, you must first cut your target by dealing 1 hit point of damage with a slashing or piercing weapon (though you may feed upon a creature with severe wounds or a bleed effect without cutting it first). Once you cut the target, you can drink from its wound as a standard action. Drinking blood deals 2 points of Constitution damage to the creature you feed upon."

Retracting his fangs he speaks.. "Yes i can control it, well most of the time.. Only when it has been several days without it must i have to try to control it.. Sometimes i cannot, but with regular feedings it isn't an issue.."

Just an FYI i dont have to roll will saves to not feed.. Not yet anyways.. I choose too for flavor purposes and rp.. He does strive to become a full vamp someday though.. Kinda needs to be biten by 3rd level though.. Hummrph... DM... lol

"If id have to guess, id say a dozen not including the warden or sergeant. N..n...no there aren't any secret passages, I have to get over the bridge like any other man. Just need to say 'Hesterfield' at the gate."

He then looks toward Argan, "The one across the hall? That's Blackerly's quarters."

The man looks at Argan somewhat defiantly "Well he should be where he says he is. Which is most unlikely, since he's probably gambling. Before you ask, I have no idea where he is probably somewhere hidden. I only see them during chow time. The warden is up in his tower, I even bring his meals up there."

"I think we should try to stealthily get to the southwestern tower where the wizard is at. Then we can take out any sentinels on the walls and descend upon the gaming guards, if we are fast enough. If anything goes wrong we can use the Window to escape. Is everyone ready?"

Let's grab all the ration we can carry, but without being hindered by a medium load.
