Just so you are aware guys, I'm going to do away with Hero Points from now on. I've come to realise that they are an optional rule I really don't like for pbp, especially in bigger groups.

On the other hand, you may all level up!

Sapphire,
I am having a bit of trouble interpreting the loot sheet. Specifically what I need to know is how much loot do the individual party members have? See, I have need of a specific item now... an Amulet of Mighty Fists. Now that I can be wolf, I think Nasrin will be spending a lot of time as a big assed wolf!

JZ,
Is there an Amulet of Mighty Fists available in town?

Hi Nasrin, I don't track everyone's individual totals, I've just been advising how much everyone gets each time we 'cash in'.

Your total loot in gp thus far is (after 4 splits total):
450 gp
1000 gp
1750 gp
3025 gp

So total 6225 gp. I don't know what of that you have already spent though!

Aside from the gp totals, any item a party member grabs to use I put a name against, the rest on the first page is stuff we've either kept, not decided anything about or have yet to be able to sell.

Any other Qs let me know :)

Thanks Sapphire. I know how much I've got: 44 gold.

Next time we cash in every one gets 80 gp each from my split cause I still owe you all.

Nasrin, the chances are high that there is an amulet of mighty fists in town but with the uprising occurring it would be a risk to go out and find one.

Ok, I was putting some thought into "How big is Jagar?"

by the bestiary, a wolf is 45-150lbs. That is Medium sized. Next level Jagar bumps up to Large, and the Dire Wolf is a large animal. It is also listed at 800lbs.

So, it kinda makes some sense to me that a Level 1 Druid's wolf would be @45lbs, and gain about 15-20lbs per level. That puts them up to their cap weight (150) at the Druid's level 6 :)

Once they are large, should they be putting on @ 60-70lbs per level until they hit their cap weight (800lbs) at Druid 17 :)

Now, that says there is a crap ton of mass gain for any animal. Obviously magic is involved with the pet's development.

Or, maybe I am thinking way too much about all this.

Anyway, Jagar is about 150lbs, so too heavy for Nasrin to wild shape into a small bird and lift him over the building. (her weight allowances would be 75/150/225 as a small animal)

Female Human (Kellid) Druid 8 | HP 67 | AC 16 FF 15 T 11 | Saves +9/+6/+12 | Init + 4 | Percep +16, Scent

Here's another Druid question...

When a Druid uses Wild Shape, it must be to an animal they are familiar with.

How do you adjudicate what animals a Druid is familiar with?

Do the player and the GM make a list of animals that fit based on background? But then what happens if in game the PC rolls )Know-Nature) to identify tracks of an animal not 'known' to the PC by their list? Or, when deciding if a Druid 'knows about' this animal is it a Know-Nature roll to determine? For example, What does Nasrin know about Velociraptors? As a player or GM, I would say, "Not a dang thing". But, what about snapping turtles? Not indigenous to Irrisen I am sure, but would a well versed Druid know about them none the less?

Anyway. Just musing and thinking about options for my first shapechanging-focused Druid. (I had one for tabletop that was focused on her pet/mount, and she was Druid/Ranger archer/switch hitter :) )

That's a good question Nas. Logically it would be based on your background or environment. But remember our background...Corum and Nas have travelled a lot together so I'd think it reasonable to assume Nas would have knowledge of a fairly broad spectrum of animals.

I like Jagar's growth theory too by the way.

Btw. We nabbed an amulet of natural armour a while ago and no one claimed it. If it's going spare I'll have it. That is, if no one else wants it?

With our healing situation, that extra 1ac could be invaluable.

Sapphire, when you get 5 minutes, would you mind updating the loot sheet and posting how much money each player has?

I am increasing the amount of loot to account for 6 players but I just want to make sure I am not giving too much or too little.

All good JZ, I spent a while on it to do some tidy up, and even found a loot reference I missed the first time, some months back! -> Pale Tower (Other floors)

JZ:
Ok So according to the party cash handouts (including the pretend one I just did, given we can't sell anything right now!) (so doesn't include the gear we are carrying) we've divvied up 8025 gp each so far!

Let me know if you want any more bookkeeping shenanigans done :)

Ok party! No shops nearby, but Sapphire's mental sifting of the contents of the bag of holding mean we have the following to make decisions on some gear:

we have 2 cloaks of resistance +1 unclaimed, who wants them?
Greyston or anyone do you want the Cauldron of Brewing?
Anyone want the Serpentine Owl figurine of wondrous power?
We still have an unclaimed ring of protection +1. If no-one else wants it we can either sell or give to Jagar?

OK cool so you could probably do with a bit of a boost then. At a guess I would say that including gear the highest wealth in the party would be something like 12k?

Saying that it's only this last section that you seemed to have had any real difficulty and that's just because it's a grind. Hmmmmm.

I wouldn't say no to a cloak of resistance and that Cauldron of Brewing if we don't want to sell it i'll take it(worth 1500 if we sell), haven't had a lot of time to craft or even buy what's needed to craft for awhile.

The Serpentine Owl figurine of wondrous power only has three uses, we might want to hold it back for scouting or even just sell it if we need the money to boost our frontliners.

I think it's all building up, we'll get to a fight soon and just get wrecked.

Cauldron and cloak are all yours Greyston, and as the figurine only has a few uses i'll add it to the sell pile if no-one has any objections.

Still a cloak and a ring up for grabs!!

As cinematic as it is being taken out with one spell, that's entirely my fault for not remembering to quaff the healing potions before we got to this fight. Sorry :(
