Argh, 3rd laptop to die on me this year!
=(
I transitioned over to my company's IT department 2 months ago and my first task during training was to build my own new laptop.
I've built my own PCs at home for years now, so it's not a process I'm unfamiliar with. Sure enough though, something somewhere went horribly wrong and I bricked the thing within the first 3 days. The boot manager wasn't loading, some mysterious 'Drive 0' none of us had ever heard of wasn't found, and it BSOD'd in new and exciting ways with each successive login event until it loosed a loud, angry *BEEEEEEEEEEEEP* *BEEEEEEeeeeeeeeee- eep!*, after which it refused to ever power on again.
Laptop deaths are the worst. =(

Ah IT, for all the fact we work with 'logical' things day in and day out, they just don't behave!
So turns out the SSD has died a horrible and unrecoverable death, not too much lost as I do try to back up regularly, but hey ho. Most importantly have another machine again now to use for posting with :p

About Nasrin...
First off, I think she's a great character. But, she was not really helping the party. ie, she was not as healy as we need (between her, Corum and Sapphire she was burning off an entire day's worth of spells! Lord forbids anyone else get beat up!)
I am thinking about either an Oracle (low percentage to be Life mystery) or a Cleric of Milani. JamZ suggested Evangelist, and I will look into that :)
As ever, I am all ears for advice an' how too.
Del, I even joked about bringing Miss Morfaine ;)

Can't believe Nasrin has gone :'(
Was a good ending though, cinematic. At the end of the day, triumph or tragedy, it's all about the story :)
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for a new character!

Shame to see Nasrin go! She will be missed, but I agree with Sapphire it's all about the story and Nasrins death wont just be ignored very interested to see where this goes.
About something new, Shaman could be interesting. Really does fit into the world we're in currently with witches and such, ID LOVE! to play a frog shaman he would be brilliant in this.
But seriously I suppose we do need some healing/support but at the end of the day we got this far with me burning all my spell on healing and we have a wand now so go whatever you feel like playing. Get the concept first you will enjoy playing and then work around that.

Nasrin will be missed, Tis a sad day :(
I don't know a lot about the shaman class, haven't looked nto them too deeply, could be interesting.
I admit I do like the oracle though, good mix of martial and cleric type spells and lots of scope to make an interesting character with the different revelations
We have managed without a dedicated healer, as long as we have someone who can use wands we should be ok.
I also have absolutely no interest in playing a frog character....just saying

Idea #1:
Lucrezzia was born of two worlds. Her Chelish Father had lived in Sargava for years before he had a bastard daughter with one of the local women that worked for him. Her father was an up and coming functionary at Gold Crown Shipping and Mining. As such, he couldn't carry the shame of a half-blood child, so he paid the mother, Marisan, a fair sum and sent her away before the child's birth. Leaving Eleder for Freehold, Marisan did her best to raise the child and though they both survived, Lucrezzia always found herself in trouble. Even with the relatively tolerant folk of Freehold, young Lucrezzia was marked by her half-blood features; there was no way to hide her bastard heritage. Even so, the rambunctious child did make some lifelong friends. Through it all she hated not knowing who her father was.
When she was sixteen one of the Chelish men of Freehold asked to marry her. Delighted as she was, she felt it was important to hold to tradition and include her father. So, she went back to Eleder where she met with her father and she was summarily dismissed. "This woman is no child of mine, no matter what name she claims to carry." Heartbroken and hurt to the soul she made a decision. Life in Sargava would have to change for everyone. Hard men like her father would be taught that the Mwangi were not only to be abused, but they deserved respect and equality. Over the next several years she became a part of the various rebellions ongoing in the Lost Colony. Her young lover joined her, but was arrested after a failed raid. Knowing it was only a matter of time before the man was broken by torture and betrayed his allies, Lucrezzia fled. While awaiting a ship to take her past the Eye of Abendego she met a group of people that would change her life, again.
At first Lucrezzia felt the loss of Sargava and her cause as keenly as sword's cut. After several months and some time in Absalom those feelings faded. Mainly they faded because she was placed into a series of training and exams, testing her resilience and her knowledge. Eventually, she was accepted into the Pathfinder Society. After many years of working with expeditions to ancient sites her chance at an expedition came up.
Lucrezzia had heard of legends from the North, many couched in the obvious facts of Baba Yaga's icy realm of Irrisen. What intrigued Lucrezzia was her reputation for enslaving so many people and monsters. So, she decided to travel north and see if she could learn anything...

I am looking at (against my better judgement ;) ) an Evangelist Archetype... Basically, get Bardic Inspire Courage in exchange for nerfed (slightly) Channeling, one Domain and Medium Armor proficiency.
So, with that, I was looking at Flagbearer, Protection Variant Channeling (gain +2 AC for a round after channeling), Beacon of Hope (+2 Morale to Attack, Damage and Save v Fear/Charm)...
Effectively, a skills-poor Bard that can do a pretty rapid set of Buffs. (in one round, Inspire Courage and Channel, granting a +4 to hit and damage, and +2 to AC.

Gutted about Nas. I liked her!
On the character selection: up to you totally. Go with what you'll enjoy playing instead of what the party 'needs'. Personally I think we could do with another barbarian.
Seriously though, the shaman sounds good - nice fit with the campaign, interesting class with lots of variety too.. Not entirely convinced about the evangelist archetype. Fast buffs would be great but it feels a bit 'one trick pony' (so says the big guy with an axe and not much else) lol.
At the end of the day, it is up to you and Corum will welcome the new character with a big bear hug - once he gets over his magic trust issues of course!

Fluff reads nicely Nas, and the crunch sounds promising too :)

Nas, as far as hear goes: I had a character die in one of J's campaigns and the gear is sacrificed to the dice gods. From a narrative point of view Corum could burn it all with Nas' body - so she takes her gear with her to the afterlife to hunt with in the happy hunting grounds.
Grey - happy to RP a bit of friction as a result of the death. In the situation Corum feels guilt deep down but not because he acted. He couldn't do anything other than attack. It is his nature. In a rage, there is no compromise. We all need to remember that because a similar situation may arise and he will wade in before thinking. No, the guilt he feels is one of a soldier who sea a comrade fall. Deep down he questions whether or not he could have hit harder or faster. In that situation he needed to drop their foe in one attack and he failed. That is the source of his guilt. He is also a deeply emotional man (although that isn't obvious from just looking at him) and Nas was a close friend - the only close friend he had since he was exiled and enslaved. He is very hurt and very sad. Outwardly he is stoic, give Nas a warrior's send off and get on with the vengeance.
So, we can rp this a bit but be prepared to get punched in the face. Corum is an angry young man and in this emotional state he is likely to lash out.

Corum - I'm also happy to get some RP in around the death. Gray/Croum have never really seen eye to eye(Muscles vs brains :P). I'm playing it off more of Gray being naive, expecting better of everyone even the people they fight something he's finding hard to understand with the background hes form.
This wont be an easy one for him to forget, again he can't really see your point of view but everyone is hurt and sad today. Tension are high and this could change the party dynamic.

I don't want to interrupt the RP in gameplay so I was going to ask here; what exactly are you doing? I understand that Corum wants to tend to his friend but are you doing that here within Artrosa or on the plateau outside or somewhere else? The satyr was trying to back away down the corridor to the west when he was killed.
In regards to character selection, I understand your reservations toward Evangelists, they are completely support characters and if that isn't your bag you might find them frustrating. Shamans on the other hand are amazingly versatile and can switch roles between support and attack very well.
If possible Nas, would you have a character ready to return to the fray early next week? If that's a problem just let me know.

Umm, have you met B'yelka? She made a career of Support and Bacon Saving! :p

Greetings Lucrezzia :)
A small thing it is, but I believe you have 'chant' instead of 'cackle'. Told you it was a small thing :p

Lucrezzia looks good!

Just to say I am currently in Auckland on a training course and the WiFi in the hotel is rather less than stellar :/
Should be able to continue posting via phone but please forgive brevity!

I think I forgot this loot in the partition room;
The leather trunks in the partitioned compartments are unlocked and hold ragged feminine clothing - some are sized for a Large creature.
In addition, there is a potion of protection from arrows, a black star sapphire worth 4,500gp, and a jar of earwigs, while the trunk in area C5c holds a scroll of flame strike, a bejeweled skull worth 2,500gp, a leather sack containing 1,000gp in assorted coins and small
gems, and a wooden case containing what appears to be a collection of children's scalps.
