Awesome work, Logan.
Suggestion, instead of selling the five tridents and leather armors, we use them to outfit our new aquatic elf friends (or did we already do that)?
Mirabella Lindenbrook
Mirabella's stats are updated.
She spends 5.000 gp to buy a Mnemonic Vestment, which allows her to cast spells from scrolls without expending them, greatly improving her spellcasting versatility.
Mirabella would also very much like to claim the handy haversack. She could also use the ring of protection, but it's not a must-have.

Hi, this is nine's here... you may know me from my acting career playing such fine roles such as Canacha Bais, Dhampir Superheroine.
Im in a game playing an awesome playwright who happens to be a catfolk Monk on his Djimma.... his peoples journey into adulthood, He's now an Andoran CIA/FBI agent helping get FFalcon's hollow back on its feet. We are agents seeking a few new members to join the team.
You guys are great thought i would see if there was any interest here.

Hey all my grandmother in terminal and likely will die in the next few days. This is why I have been away. I will likely be able to start posting again in a week or so. I’m sure you understand what I mean without me having to spell it out. Sorry for the inconvenience. I hope you all understand

Totally understand that Bicks, my grandfather passed away a month ago.
We will be here and take care.| Logan Tanessen |
That's a pain I know all too well Bicks. Take as much time as you need.
Logan Tanessen
Sure!
GM JaceDK
Btw, Bicks dont forget to update your char sheet to lvl 7
Mirabella Lindenbrook
Well, this is kinda embarrasing. But looking over my character backstory in my profile, I realized that Mirabella actually has a strong connection to House Aulamaxa. I had completly forgotten!
I’ll see if I can figure out a good way to use that and post tomorrow along with a Perform roll.

I seem to have written the wrong noblehouse in my notes for you.

I've bee bedridden with a rather nasty flu for the past week, I'm starting to feel better and have more energy in the day again. It might be a few more days but I'll get you moved along again.
Do you want to visit more nobles or start looking for a way to get outside the city to other areas? You do have a certain captain owning you a few favors he might be willing to sail you for them.
Logan Tanessen
Get well soon Jesper!
Maybe we could try and influence one more noble house before setting out to help the elves?
Mirabella Lindenbrook
God bedring!
Getting one more noble house on our side sounds like a good idea. With three of the noble houses as allies, we have a strong support power base to balance out the houses openly allied with Thrune.
We already have Aulamaxa and Jhaltro. House Aulorian or Jarvis might be good candidates to approach.

Marry christmas to everyone wether you celebrate tonight or tomorrow I wish you a happy day.
Things have been a little slow this year partly because I burnt myself out a little playing the Wrath of the righteous videogame. I hope to get back to a little more regular posting in 23.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone (and a gentle nudge for our GM :-) )
Happy new year everyone.
Don't worry I start posting soon again, took some time over the holiday to recharge and get ready for the next leg of the journey which most likely have you leave Kintargo for a while going to the aquatic elves' village along with Vyre and the mountain fortress.| Logan Tanessen |
Re damage, it's an AP so I didn't think we need to go overboard on optimization =)
That said if we do need more damage I can have Logan memorize loads of shocking grasps. I usually avoid doing that on maguses because it's a cliche albeit an effective one.

Are you going to shop for some items before we move on?
You can go ahead and go see Captain Sargeta when you are ready to leave, I would recommend after helping tge elves that you sail for Vyre before returning since that is only a little further away, so you might want to negotiate bith with the Captain right away.

A bit of shopping and then to sea sounds about right. And going straight from the sea elf village to Vyre would make sense.
Let me go through the last posts and see if I can correlate a list of items we need (and can afford).
Jack Duncloak
Sorry, been a bit distracted lately.
I was considering buying a wand of expeditious retreat to help with Jack's slowness underwater problem, but that would require someone else to take an action at the start of each combat to give him a tap with it, since it's not on the ranger spell list.
Sound doable?
Logan Tanessen
I guess Logan can use that wand for you Jack. He's got access to bladed dash for pseudo pounce.
Do we have a party wand of cure light wounds? Might be good to pick one or two up. Also a part-filled wand of lesser restoration could be a good pick.
Mirabella Lindenbrook
OK...shopping and other preparations before the voyage,
Back in June, Jack and Logan did a loot audit, which resulted in the net total of 6286.25 gp each.
If you have not done so already, add this post to your sheet. Mirabella spent 5k to buy a Mnemonic Vestment, don't know if the rest of you did anything with your share?
We also have a bunch of potions and a few items:
6 potions of cure moderate wounds
3 potions of lesser restoration
3 potions of remove curse
3 potions of remove disease
3 potions of neutralize poison
Folding boat
All of these should be useful in our upcoming adventure, so let's hang on to them. Mirabella can store them in her handy haversack if needed.
Bicks can cast lesser restoration and Mirabella can remove nasty conditions like paralysis, exhaustion, stun and shaken with her purging finale spell. Between potions and spells, I think we have enough healing available. We also have a scroll of Heal and Raise dead for serious emergencies.
For underwater mobility, I recommend Touch of the sea (30 ft swim speed and +8 swim for 1 minute/level), either in the form of potions (50 gp each) or a wand which Canacha can activate as an Alchemist (750 gp for 50 charges). If we go potions, we should also get a bunch of potion sponges (2 gp each). Only Jack and Bicks need this spell, as everyone else have alternative ways of getting Swim speed (alter self + Manta cloak)
Underwater breathing, we still have the borrowed wand. Not sure how many charges remain. And did Bicks have a way to cast Extended water breathing?
We can also invest in a wand of Air Bubble (750 gp - Bicks can use), which provides both breathable air and a way for Canacha to fire her gun underwater (1 min/level).
Last, but definitely not least, Protection from Evil to keep us from being dominated. Bicks can cast 7/day, Extended if needed. A potion per person as backup (50 gp each) should suffice
So, minimum shopping requirements:
Potions:
5x Protection from evil: 250 gp
8x Touch of the sea: 400 gp
10x potion sponge: 20 gp
Total: 670 gp
Wands (nice to have)
1x Air bubble: 750 gp
That should be it for communal consumables - If we get both potions and wand, it's 284 gp per person. Add personal items/consumables as you please (Bull strength/expeditious retreat for Jack?)
Thoughts? Anything I missed? Other suggestions?
Mirabella Lindenbrook
I can cast one extend water breathing per day using my vestment. And happy to chip in for consumables.
Ah, you have a mnemonic vestment too? Very handy. It's not on your character sheet, btw. Don't forget you need a scroll of water breathing for it to work, so the cost of that (375 gp) should probably be added to the shopping list.
That brings the total cost to 1795 gp or 359 gp each.
Logan Tanessen
I should probably get Logan a +1 rapier and a +2 strength belt. Boring but the game assumed you pick these up.

I'd like to offer a useful spell I recently learnt about while playing the crpg Wrath of the righteous. Unbreakable Heart it's a bare, cleric/Oracle and ranger spell that hearts with mind affecting spells that rely on negative emotions and effects that would cause you to harm a true ally.
Might be worth a few scrolls or learn it as a 1 st level spell next time you get new.

Sounds useful. Mirabella is going to grab a scroll to use with her Mnemonic Vestment.
Canacha Bais
Oh if she will not be playing manta canacha (which is really for the best) She will purchase a heavy crossbow... so her most effective form of attack is viable.
I know there is like an air bubble spell thing she can put on her hand but im not sure i understand the mechanics of that at all.

It is a little bit of a strange rule, but basicly it creates a buble of breathable air around the firearm which allows you to reload it so long as you either have the gunpowder in a powder horn or you use a cartrigde.
The firearm can than be fired normally and gets all the negatives of underwater shooting ie -2 every 5 feet it travels. The airbubble is not spend on shooting but last the full 1 min/lvl and you firearm can missfire as normal.
Does that help Canacha?

The cloak is yours, Canacha, and it should be up to you if you want to lend it to Jack or use it yourself.
Note that you can use your regular attacks, both ranged and melee, while the cloak is active. See below (my emphasis in bold):
This cloak appears to be made of leather until the wearer enters salt water.
At that time, the cloak of the manta ray adheres to the individual, and he appears nearly identical to a manta ray (as the beast shape II spell, except that it allows only manta ray form). He gains a +3 natural armor bonus, the ability to breathe underwater, and a swim speed of 60 feet, like a real manta ray.
The cloak does allow the wearer to attack with a manta ray‘s tail spine, dealing 1d6 points of damage. This attack can be used in addition to any other attack the character has, using his highest melee attack bonus. The wearer can release his arms from the cloak without sacrificing underwater movement if so desired.
I think we should definitely get the air bubble wand. With the mobility from the cloak, Canacha should have no trouble getting close enough that the range penalty won't be too horrible. Also, an aboleth is a large creature with a pretty bad touch AC, so hitting with a firearm won't be too bad.
Logan Tanessen
Yeah sounds like a good idea. I went ahead and got Logan some new gear from his part of the loot split.
Mirabella Lindenbrook
Alright, I've written an IC post to get the ball rolling again and updated my sheet with the communal supplies.
Everyone gets potion of protection from evil as backup
Bicks, you get the wand of air bubble and 4x touch of the sea potions with potion sponges. Also, make sure you have a scroll of water breathing in your inventory.
Jack, Bicks, you get 4x touch of the sea potions with potion sponges.

I was going to move you ahead tonight, Mira your friend in the Songbird hall is called Liana.
@Canacha, I missed a PM you sent me a while back due to lack of any notification I had it. I have answered it now.
