To my players

This game will go at a slower pace for a while longer, you'd probably already noticed it's been slow the last weeks.
I might be going down with psychological stress from the new work I started after new years. I had barely worked a week before we were told our jobs were in jeopardy and could be lost at any moment. I tried to handle it but instead ended up bottling it untill I broke down last night after I got home.
I have an appointment with my doctor and union tomorrow and will take things from there.
I'll keep you informed and update the game when I have some good moments

The job I was given, was to be an accountant in the company for a big time costumer, but some things were left out at the interview, the troubles before I started were so big the costumer on the 8th january threaten to pull the job I was just started in, needless to say I couldn't handle that and the workload kept piling on, I had expect to be the 4th man in the team, not replace another who asked to be moved to another team.

Let's do the rebellion, I'll prepared the investigation of the burnt down bar when I'm ready.

Silly Treasure question - On the loot sheet it says the split of the pay outs for canacha is 624.25. Was that actually split out? Just asking so i know how much i can spend/spent in crafting stuff during the week.

I put my bonus skill point into Diplomacy. During the week Canacha would take one day tinkering with her pistol, upgrading it to a masterwork pistol at the cost of 300 gold.

At the cost of 50 gp per potion Canacha could in theory craft like 6-8 potions a day off, of the following types - Disguise self, Long shot, Inflict Light wounds (aka self healing potions), or Shield.

ANy requests for the above potions for any of you guys?

I know at least one of those days Canacha, would want to brew at least 3 inflict light wounds potions to keep on herself in case well there was trouble.

Yeah, that'd be the loot split that was given out after Meliora went out to sell things and spent the rest of the day grumbling over a bunch of figures trying to figure out how to split it all.

I was thinknig potions of disguise self might come in handy later on as things grow, after all eventually their will be wanted posters out or soemthing right? at least I hope so. I think we all would look dashing on a wanted poster. AS long as the picture isnt like that surprised look photo that sometimes happens at the DMV

I think the current plan for the next couple days is spell scribing day/downtime > Jills > commence spying on salt mines > knock out everyone and free the prisoners from said mines.

Looks good. If this was a real time game I would say I would do a quick walk by the salt mines on the scribing day but this makes sense for PbP.

Ok so on the first day Meliora feel free to go look for the spells you want, you have a 75% chance off finding each spell you want.

I will move you ahead with the Red Jills later when I have reread it thoroughly but it will be the day after you have had some downtime so feel free to do what you want untill I move this forward.

Roger that. I'll figure out the list tommorrow after I wake up since I'm about to sleep, but she's also prepping Read Magic that day to check over the scrolls she couldn't decipher before. She'll do that before she heads out so that the party knows what it is, since it'd take like 18 seconds total.

So it takes 1 hour to research, then 1 hour to scribe a 1st level spell into a book... I'll work with an 8 hour assumption. Taking 10 she can spellcraft any level 1 spell, and she has read magic to make the initial translation instant, so, availability! High = bad

First thing she'll look for is Disguise Self. Available: 1d100 ⇒ 64

Ive always been a fan of Expeditious construction myself.. at least on my halfling.. instant cover :)

At some point im waiting for Meliora to decide Canacha is cool and ask her for drugs *lawls* cause eventually you know alchemists and their weird potions and things...

Also DM while i dont have the money for things yet, will i be allowed to build custom guns? Like say a triple barreled dragon pistol? an over under blunderbuss/rifle? A portable groundbased culverin capable of delivering alchemist fire? I could probably keep going for a while.

edit: Wait, I just realized she has total concealment from anything more than 5 feet away from her due to the obscuring mist. Does that mean the boss was flat-footed? Probably not considering the shriek, but now my head hurts.

Standing on the edge of obscuring mist is a little wonky, it's a great tactic for ranged rogues to get lots of sneak dies.
But no matter you are not beating the flat-footed ac anyway of this buffed up spell caster :p

I figured I'd scout it during the day. If Canacha's the only one coming along, Jack could sort of act the part of a city guide, showing her Old Kintargo's waterfront (while actually spying on the salt works for entrances/exits, guards, work schedules/shifts, etc.).

Jack leads Canacha through the Salt Gate to Old Kintargo's waterfront and docks. It's not entirely what you'd call scenic, but there's enough going on that the pair's alibi is at least somewhat believable, if anyone calls them on being in the area.
