HP roll: 1d8 ⇒ 5
Mirabella will grab another level in Bard (argent voice). As for Feat and spell choices, I have no real long-term plan in mind for her, but messing around with Hero Lab last night, I came across a combo that's so cheesy that you can probably smell it through the browser, but at the same time super fun and useful. So before finalizing my leveling, I want to run it by bot GM and the rest of the group.
Ok, so the background is that Mirabella already has a maxed out Perform (sing) for obvious reasons. At 5th level, it's +15. Her archetype lets her boost it even further by maxing out other perform skills, besides the usual increase Charisma and use of the alchemical item Lozenge of the songbird. So tl;dr, Mirabella can sing REALLY well.
With Versatile Performance, she can use her Perform (sing) modifier for Bluff and Sense Motive.
Her Diva in Training trait giver her a +1 DC boost to language-dependent spells.
So, here's where the blue cheese starts to get ripe:
She can now take the feat Taunt to use her Bluff skill to demoralize opponents.
And for her new 2nd level spell, pick Blistering Invective which lets her demoralize all enemies in a 30' radius (with a +15 modifier) to the extent that they take 1d10 fire damage and catch fire unless they make a DC 16 Ref save. She can cast this three times per day at 5th level.
Fluff-wise, she's basically combining her mastery of Chelaxian opera tradition, her bardic magic and the growing fury she's feeling by witnessing the oppression and suffering of the people in Kintargo to give her enemies such a vicious scolding through song that they literally feel the fires of Hell burn their wicked souls.
So, what do you think?
Jack Duncloak
I think with the (lack of) damage Jack does, fighting foes who are already on fire will give him a chance of holding his own. :)
Updating Jack; pretty much down to choosing skills and a new feat.

I can see no problem with it, it's a fun idea, just be mindful you will encounter a fair share of devils in between the regular humans so the fire effect might not have any use in some encounters. But by all means use it if you want.

@Logan when you choose to roll you are allowed to reroll the first natural 1 you get.
The loot is a +1 chain shirt, Cloak of resistance +1, and ring of protetion +1. The wands are the same and each contain 10 charges of hold person except one which has 9.
The potions Canacha can tell from taste with her craft alchemy if she wants.
Mirabella Lindenbrook
So how many wands of Hold Person in total? Mirabella would like to claim one. It would fit perfectly in one of her spring-loaded wrist sheaths.
Logan Tanessen
HP reroll: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 = 10
Well that's rather better! :)
Anyone interested in the chain shirt?
Bicks Velin
Not much in the way of upgrades at this level for a oracle. I did bump all my trained skills, got a new first and second level spell and spent my feat on extra revelation on channel. I don't have selective channeling yet so it will be out of combat or emergencies for now.
Herbalism that acts like Alchemy on the potion: 10 + 19 = 29
HP: 1d8 ⇒ 71d8 ⇒ 2 +3+1

@Mirabella
There is 5 wands of hold person 10 charges and 1 wand of hold person 9 charges.
Lena Silas
HP: 1d8 ⇒ 4
Lena is taking another level of Warpriest.
She gets one more level 1 and one more level 2 spells.
+1 Diplomacy
+1 Perception
+1 Know Religion
+1 Craft Weapons
+1 Know History
Feat: Power Attack
My Fervor goes up to 2d6

@ Lena
Reminder I run with these rules: "Feats: Point-blank shot are baked into Precise shot. Power attack is removed and can be used by any full bab class from 1st level and 3/4 bab class from 3rd level." so you can pick another feat.
Mirabella Lindenbrook
Anyone want to claim anything else of the loot? Otherwise, we can calculate the value and sell what we don’t need.
Canacha Bais
someone should take the ring, canacha will if no one else wants it, same thing for the cloak, bonus to saves are always nice. that cloak of the manta ray is cool and useful, we should hang onto it in case something takes us swimming in the ocean. for a bit at least. just my opinion though :)
We definitely need to look into magicing up and getting anti devil weaponry soon too.
Logan Tanessen
The ring of protection would be nice for Logan too, but I don't want to take everything! His AC is a bit low without shield up though.
Canacha Bais
ring to logan, clock of resistance to Lena, cloak of the manta ray to Jack, so he can be cool!
I also think Miss Mirabella should take one of those wands, she can UMD it to get it to work, it would be a good oh s@~$ panic button if things get crazy or we get sloppy.
Jack Duncloak
Jack's already got an elven cloak, so the new one should go to someone else.
Mirabella Lindenbrook
Mirabella and Bicks have both snatched a wand, and we can keep the rest in reserve. Hold person is on Mirabella’s spell list, so no UMD needed.
I still think Jack should hold on to the cloak of Manta ray. It’s situational, so he can keep it in his pack until he needs it.
Canacha Bais
Actually having thought about it, Canacha will take the cloak.
It occured to me as i was rereading the gun making rules that Canacha under water is well not a gunslinger she is a carrier of expensive and useless gunpowder when soaking wet. Being able to turn into a manta ray and at least sting opponents is something more useful
:)
Unless of course there are objections.

All right, let's get loot distribution finalized. Here's my suggestion
Keep:
6x wand of hold person - 1 each for Mirabella and Bicks, the rest in reserve at base.
1x Ring of protection +1 for Logan (?)
1x Cloak of Manta Ray for Canacha
1x +1 Chain shirt for ? - or do we sell this? Mirabella would love it, if it was small sized - perhaps we can exchange it for a small one?
Consumables:
2 x potion of Bears Endurance - who takes one each?
2 x potion of CMW - who takes one each?
1 x Scroll of Raise Dead - keep in reserve at base or carried by divine caster.
Sell:
7x Mwk net - 1,120 gp
1x mwk sickle - 153 gp
1x scroll of glyph of warding - 287,5 gp
1x Silver comb - 50 gp
1x Iron chalice - 200 gp
Total sales value: 1,810,5
Cash: 293
Total loot: 2103,5
Share for each party member: 350 gp and a handful of coppers

I useally allow to trade it down if no one els wants it just because you see alot more medium sized loot then small in these APs

If you are all ready I will move you ahead tomorrow, you will start with a meeting at the Tooth and Nail in the afternoon, so if you have any errands or shopping to do before that, you can do it now or in a spoiler when you post after the post I will make.
Logan Tanessen
Logan was hoping to get the +1 chain shirt and or the ring. That'll raise his AC to 16/17 and I've provisionally altered his stat block.
It's too bad the shirt is likely human sized. I'm not sure if it's possible per the rules to get it modified.
Logan Tanessen
Thanks, hopefully we can raise some cash to buy you an enchanted chain shirt of the right size before long.

"When an article of magic clothing or jewelry is discovered, most of the time size shouldn't be an issue. Many magic garments are made to be easily adjustable, or they adjust themselves magically to the wearer. Size should not keep characters of various kinds from using magic items."
I generally apply these rules to magical armor and weapons just because there is a lack of small sized enemies in most adventures, unless I actively changes them, which is a little bit of a problem in Cheliax with halflings and gnomes as Asmodean Thrune loyalist.

Sorry for the delay. I've been out with a cold/flu from last friday to wednesday and it has been a little slower than useal to get back into gear.
I'll move you ahead with the ritual later today, I will lead with the two questions Lena posted in the gameplay and let the third question remain open for now.
Logan Tanessen
I guess we need some Diplomacy checks to gather information to find out if there's any rumours floating about, someone must have seen or heard something. Logan's not terribly good at that so I was wondering if there are spells that might help with with social situations and there are (e.g. Ears of the city) but just not on the magus list.
Out of lvl 1-3 spells there's one which seems useful in a social setting, Egorian Diplomacy which he already knows.
I did find one spell that would make him better at knowledge skills: Page Bound Epiphany. Might be worth learning.

I'll move you ahead tonight. I got distracted playing Kingmaker last night and forgot to do it yesterday.

I have backed both Divinity Original Sin games, Kingmaker is good, but being a caster with aoe works best with the turn-based mod some developed.
Mirabella Lindenbrook
Wait, what!! There's a turn-based mod for Kingmaker!? How did I not know this? I backed the game when it was announced, but the realtime, pause-and-play combat made me drop the game after a few hours.

When you think about it, our rolls in this encounter make perfect sense. You have Mirabella and Logan trying to use their usual social tricks from high society on a bunch of tech geeks working in the lab and falling on their faces - while Bicks and Canacha do better due to their genuine interest and knowledge. Kinda like the Head of Marketing trying to impress specialists by dropping random buzzwords into the conversation rarely yields good results :-D

Shall I assume you are going back to a safe place?
It is about curfew already and you have a chance to run into something before you get back, but the chances of an encounter is lesser just after curfew then a while after.

I’ll be without internet access for a period, so please bot my character during my absence. I applied for assisted-rate access, but the process is taking a while. I’m hoping to be back online in a week or so; if things drag out beyond two weeks, I’ll do my best to find a way to hop online long enough to give an update.
Jesper--If you need anything further from Jack for this encounter, I've still got 12+ hours of access to make another post.
