Without selling anything you should have recorvered 38 pp, 230 gp, 392 sp, and 43 cp from the map room and 3000 gp in the colored tile room.

Finally got my profile updated without losing the changes to timeout. I decided to take alter self as a new spell learned instead of glitterdust.

At some point, Mirabella will probably want to up her AC, but so far she's been pretty good at staying out of harms way. Frontliners have first dip on those, for the good of the entire party.

Canacha has leather armour +1 so mithril chain shirt +2 is a big upgrade. Logan has +1 ring of protection and +1 chain shirt so both are incremental.

It looks like Canacha doesn't have a ring so I propose Canacha gets the mithril chain shirt and Logan's old +1 ring and he gets the +2 ring.

so i was rereading up on the cloak and . . .

The cloak does allow the wearer to attack with a manta ray‘s tail spine, dealing 1d6 points of damage. This attack can be used in addition to any other attack the character has, using his highest melee attack bonus. The wearer can release his arms from the cloak without sacrificing underwater movement if so desired.

So i could in fact be a manta ray with a gun, as for could i even fire the gun? Yes.... once. definitely no reloading ... bah for that.

that being said i didnt realize we were underwater so actions would have defintely been a little different for sure. I will repost and use the same attack roll.

Lena has Air Bubble memorized to help you keep you gun dry

Air bubble could be useful untill you find a way to drain the caverns like the guild notes mentioned.

On a personal note, I've gone through a rough path myself this month but seem to be coming around. I'll try to be more active posting going forward.

I had noticed it was a little light on posts but I didn't eant to push you to far in case the ebd ogf year time and thanksgiving, was taking up peoples time.

Mostly waiting for you all to agree on the way forward, there are 1 or 2 encounters left underwater and then we get to a rather long RP session. Going from book two to three.

I’ve also had a very stressful month at work, which has started to take it’s toll on my health. I’ve worked with my management to redistribute some of my assignments, so things should clear up a bit.

As for the adventure, I think we just have to take it slow and let everyone get their energy back. If we’re going underwater again, we should prepare better. Our mix of weapons and skills does not exactly favor underwater combat.

Today, I’m off work to recover from a stomach infection. I’ll go back over the posts from the last couple of months to see if there is anything else we’ve learned from our exploration of the Lucky Bones above and below water that might help us. I’ll also post some suggestions for next steps.

I think 2021 just have been a massively rough year all around and we are still trying to keep our head above water. We'll take it slowly but I would love if we can get the last bit of book 2 done by years end.

I still got a few small personal events for Logan and Bicks, that I might do them earliere over PM as Canacha, Jack and Mirabella already had. That way you all had a chance to earn someone to either help or hinter you at some point in book 3.

Um, so...what kind of magic can give Jack a swim speed again? And was it Hetamon who provided a water breathing spell?

P.S. - Jack is still broke as far as I know. Will his Sugar Mama (aka Canacha) be able to buy him some sort of magical swimming capabilities? :D

Jack something like alter self can do that. Should be possible to buy a wand or perhaps a potion. There's also monkeyfish.

Ya was also in an extra busy work stretch, but it is back to normal now.

If you can breathe under water and weigh enough you can walk on the bottom, it may be an option.

Water breathing were a wand you borrowed from the Hellknight you helped earlier, there should be enough charges to finish the adventure.
Otherwise potion of alter self to a boggard, aquatic elf or similar will help you swim.

Merry Christmas to everyone. Taking a closer look at Alter Self, it is indeed min/level duration. For some reason, I thought it lasted longer. Which means that Logan and Mirabella probably didn't spend quite as much time as boggards as we otherwise thought.

From our initial recon and intel gathering, it seems we're about to face some kind of ooze and a bound devil. I don't think we have enough info to determine the exact type of either.

We may want to be prepared to retreat and come back better prepared, if we find ourselves in over our heads.

You got the ooze, can't remember the name offhand but it's immune to piercing so might be safer to not draw it's attention and lower the water first for that one.
