Kimos Kousei |

Yeah I guessed so but you can't blame me for trying. xP
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Kimos draws his bow and points in the direction of the voice.
"Show yourself or I'll consider you an enemy. No one responds well to unseen voices."
Ready action to fire on any hostiles.

Helikon |

A dark figure appears " You are sneaky, sneaky, but your friends... What do want with ours home?"

Raffinyaler |

Awww... heck.
Also, are we out of range of the cold? Because I think another round of exposure will kill those of us who are already unconscious.

Elasbeth Evergreen |

Jumping at the sudden appearance of the strange creature, Elasbeth looks around for the source of the voice and, upon seeing it, speak, "Your homes? Do you mean this cold cavern, or the caves in general?" Suddenly realizing that she is being kind of rude, Elasbeth stops the questions for the moment to introduce herself, "Sorry if I was rude there, I'm just fascinated by the paintings in that room. I'm Elasbeth, and you are?"

Elasbeth Evergreen |

Giving him a wry expression, "I can see that, is there anyway you could help us out, several of my companions are in very bad shape from that cavern and I think we could use the assistance."

Kunala |
@ Helikon, three questions
was Elasbeth successful in dragging Raffinyaler with her out of the cold area?
was Kimos successful in dragging Tomaq and Korba with him out of the cold area?
was Kimos successful in dragging Kunala out of the cold area using rope and grappling hook?
Edit: I'm assuming the cave are has a "strange illumination" since Sku-pags "appears"

Elasbeth Evergreen |

I'm assuming that we have gotten the injured to safety.
Since the mysterious individual seems to be unwilling to help any, Elasbeth thinks to herself, I wish I did not have to do this in front of the, yet, no help for it though. At least most are unconscious. She looks to Kimos, "Please, keep this to yourself, I don't want it getting out that I can do this." With that, she lays Raff's head in her lap and focuses, her eyes glow bright gold-white with a match glow on her hands and touches Raff's head, letting the light suffuse into him.
cure light wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Once she is done she looks at Kimos again, "Would you mind getting out and using those potions from before on the other two? I can't do that again for a while."
*Edit
Wow, that was a great roll huh.

Kimos Kousei |

Kimos does not take his eyes off the creature before him as he responds.
"I already knew from when you healed Kunala earlier. I am not someone that can be fooled so easily. As for the potions, you may use Kunala's but not the one I hold. They are in no danger of dying and this little trip is over for the day. I think it is clear the other groups before us did not know when to retreat. I do, I would suggest you use the potion on Kunala. He could help carry our sleeping cargo back to the surface."
He did not know where the creature stood on matters but so long as it did not take advantage of things, he had no problem of letting things lay as it were.

Elasbeth Evergreen |

Getting an angry expression on her face, "You don't understand the meaning of privacy do you?" She takes a deep breath to calm herself, "Well, I suppose you were bound to find out eventually anyway. Just keep it to yourself please, my family was killed because of what I can do, and I don't want to be caught by those who are after me."
Right after casting the spell.
Going to Kunala and looking for his potion, when she finds it, Elasbeth tilts his head up after opening the potion, pinches his nose, and pours the potion into his mouth, quickly closing it so he has to swallow.
Potion of cure light (assuming it is minimum caster level): 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
* Edit
Wow, I am really liking those healing rolls today.

Kunala |
Helikon, please acknowledge what actions of the PC’s have or have not taken place. Also please narrate a little more information. Based on the last information you gave us my assumption has been:
We walked into a cold room (A6)and saw a dead body that was killed by russet mold. We were attacked by cold mold; which, feeding from our now extinguished light source, doubled in size.
Kimos and Elasbeth succeeded their fortitude roles and took subdual damage. Kunala, Raffinyaler, Tomaq and Korba failed their fortitude roles, took maximum subdual damage and are unconscious, each taking one hit point of damage. Kimos and Elasbeth reacting quickly dragged Raffinyaler, Tomaq and Korba to safety. Using a rope and grappling hook Kimos began to rescue Kunala when they were confronted by a voice.
After initial conversation the speaker came into view, Sku-pags ignores Elasbeth’s second question so she provides medical treatment to Raffinyaler, he is now conscious. Kimos finished rescuing Kunala from the cold room (A6) and Elasbeth gave Kunala a potion, Kunala is now conscious.
Last, Sku-pags, breaking his silence, invites the team to speak with their elder.
Is this right so far? If not what has happened.
Also, since Raffinyaler is awake, can he know what the result of his local knowledge skill check (where he rolled a 30) to recognize the corpse.

Helikon |

Am a bit abroad and the connection is horrible.
@Raffinyaler: You know the person, it is a human rogue named Gerrol Sonder. You also remeberremembers the popular rogue recently asked a weaponsmith’s daughter named Emelia Otterbie to marry him. Emelia would undoubtedly want to know of Gerrol’s fate.
@Kunala. Together Kimos and Elasbeth manage to rescue the others from the cold room. It takes a little effort to revice them, but the cold just shocked them into unconciousness. Even a warm rubbing brings the people back. A warm tea would finish the revivication.
While they do that a dark skinned person approached and spoke to them. Not hindering you at the slightest, he just tells you that he would like to bring you to their leader.
One thing. You were not attacked. The mutated coldmold doubled his size and doing so took a lot of warmth from the air to aid with the growth process. You were just caught in the process.
@Elasbeth You are also convinced that the dead person would be alive if the other mold had not eaten it alive.

Elasbeth Evergreen |

So was the use of healing magic and a potion nescessary or do we ignore their uses? Granted I never did do a heal check on them to figure it out.

Elasbeth Evergreen |

Phew, good, cause those rolls were complete wastes of consumable resources.
Having gotten everyone awake again and their mysterious visitor stating what he wants, Elasbeth looks to the others, "So, what do you think, going this way is not going to work. Should we go see this 'chieftain'?"

Kimos Kousei |

Personally a little confused, I hate recons. Anyways Kimos is fine as long as they keep from being surrounded or anything like that and call it day once the talk is over. I would guess our breathing magic is wearing off soon too.

Kunala |
thanks Helikon
well its good to be awake again
before leaving the area Kunala searches the dead body to see if he has anything worth salvaging,
waiting for Raffinyaler to inform us about the body to see of we should return it to the surface, I also would like to talk to the "Elder" before we return to the surface, so we know better how to prepare. If Kunala needs a perception check for checking the body he will drag it into area A5 and take twenty (19) on perception

Kunala |
if it’s ok, Kunala will drag the body in A6 to A5, and strip it of anything valuable. If Raffinyaler tells us the body should be taken back to Torch we can come back and get it
Once Kunala is done stripping the body of anything valuable he nods slightly to the humanoid and says in his accented lisp
Apparently you met my companions while I was unconscious, I am Kunala and these two who have awakening with me are Raffinyaler and Tamoq, did I hear Elasbeth say something about meeting a chieftain? I would very much enjoy that.
is the humanoid small, medium or large sized?

Elasbeth Evergreen |

"I think our mysterious guest here is getting impatient for us to come with him. I'm not sure it's the best idea myself, but I have to admit that I am curious as to what his chieftain wants with us?"

Raffinyaler |

Raffinyaler coughs as he comes to, then stands up and attempts to dust himself off. As he follows the group towards Sku-pags' tribe he digs into a jacket pocket, pulls out a small vial and drinks the contents.
Drank his Comprehend Languages extract, duration is 10 minutes

Elasbeth Evergreen |

"Good, I'm glad we made a descision and that we're going to go with him. I hate an unsatisfied curiosity." She then falls in and follows the rest of the group.

Helikon |

You are lead into another cavern. The ceiling of this vast chamber rises nearly thirty feet overhead. A five-foot-wide ledge runs along the western wall, sloping down to the cave floor ten feet below. Four ramshackle huts made of what appear to be strips of metal, hides, and some sort of fibrous plant matter sit in the cave, while to the south yawns a dark pit.
A dark creature approaches you and shows her open hands in peace.
"We offer truce. Pick two to follow me and speak with Sef, swift leader of tribe. Others stay here but safe. We promise"
If you want make a sense motive

Kunala |
Kimos you are the only one with sense motive, Kunala has the highest; bluff, diplomacy and intimidate, should they go in?
Kunala looks around the cave and says quietly to the team
Kimos it seems you have earned their scouts respect, shall we parlay with this Sef. In my opinion Tomaq you and Korba should take Elasbeth and Raffinyaler closer to the exit, if this goes badly it will be up to you to get them out.
sense motive: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15
What size are these creatures?

Elasbeth Evergreen |

"That seems reasonable to me." Elasbeth looks around for a good place to sit down perception in case I need it: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 and does so.

Kunala |
Kunala looks at the team and nods, then quietly to Kimos as he taps his shields rim with his trident, smiling
shall we? If there is trouble I will cover your back, hopefully this time I will be able to see what we are dealing with
then to the female who spoke to them, being as diplomatic as possible
lead on dear lady, we except your truce, we came in good faith and we will leave in good faith, whatever the outcome of our conversation with Sef.
diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 8 + 2 = 30
Kunala follows the female to their leader assuming Kimos is with him

Kunala |
As Kunala is strolling along with Kimos and the humanoid he asks her in his accented lisp
Seeing as we have such a pleasant accord; might I inquire as to your name and the name your people prefer to be called? I would not want to insult your potentate Sef.
obviously hoping the high diplomacy score can let Kunala get a little information here. Also which hut is she leading us too? Assuming it’s a hut of course.
