Talon, after slicing at the alchemist with one dagger, pulls out of combat with the enemy zombies and follows him.

acrobatics to avoid AoO: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 I'll follow him down the corridor, but hopefully avoid an AoO. If I do get hit, though I will stop and drink a healing potion instead of following him.

You deftly dodge the zombies, about halfway down the corridor you get to the pit. You notice a ledge long the side, you think you can go slowly across with no problem or try to skip across at normal speed.

So you can use acrobatics to move at normal speed across the ledge or try to jump the pit. Or move at half speed across. Let me know what you would rather do.
