Talon chokes as the undead hand grabs his throat, but his annoyance with Aaziroth is still clear. "Maybe...I...ackk...have a...glll...deathwish!"
The rogue stabs at the creature choking him, but has a hard time hitting it.

Aaziroth glances over his shoulder to make sure he doesn't run into Ziusudra. He turns back towards the hands just as one lunges at his throat. Caught by surprise, he drops his sword in order to pull the thing off.

Halorn swings at the hand but Koriar gets in the way and his swing misses. Talon swipes at the hand attacking him but the thing is too nimble! Ziu tries to distract the hand to help Aaziroth hit it.

If the detecting is clear, then Halorn can go down the hallway and peek in both directions with darkvision.

"Not so cool when it's attached to your windpipe, kid!" Talon responds.
He pulls out the wand he had used earlier and heals his wounds.
"I think this pile of gore is directly related to our mission here, and the reason I didn't want to go around. I wonder...should we try climbing up here? This seems to have been dumped from above. Perhaps what we seek is directly above us. Anyone bring a grappling hook?"

"Shhhh!!!" he whispers. "Someone is...talking up there. It's soft but I can hear it. That isn't something we should have in a crypt. Unless it's more undead. Still, this pile of gore makes me think we're close to something."
"I could potentially climb up and check it out."

As Halorn walks back, he looks carefully at the group. He counts the people, and then counts again on his fingers. After a moment he says,
"Hey, don't you guys know you should never split up the group?"

Aaziroth frowns when Talon indicates voices from above. He attempts to peer up with his darkvision to determine who is speaking and where they are. Do we see any stairs?

Aaziroth listens to Talon's plan then looks at the potential climb and his armor. "The problem would be if you get attacked with us still down here. It could take some time for us to get to you. I think we are better off staying together and taking the stairs," he whispers to the group.

Doh, needed to be 5' closer to reach on a charge :(
Aaziroth hears the clank of an arrow bouncing off of his armor. Turning to find the source of the attack, he's frustrated that the skeleton's are too far away for him to reach quickly. Raising up his shield, he does his best to stay behind it as he begins moving down the hall.
20' move with Total Defence (+4 AC).

Doh, forgot to change weapons.
"Stand aside!" Aaziroth says as the paladin builds up speed charging the skeletons with his longsword held high. When he reaches the line, he swings with all his might. The skeleton easily steps aside of the sword.
