Will save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 wow, can I get a new dice roller please! 2 will saves & I roll a 5 and a 4!
Just as Aaziroth gets ready to attack the skeleton, his head starts spinning again.
GM V - maybe I should just tell you my actions and let you roll for me. You don't seem to have a problem with your dice rolls. Or can we switch and I can use yours and you can use mine :)
Ziusudra

Presuming that nobody wants / is able to take other actions?
After last round's double move, Ziusudra takes a 5-foot-step forward and begins summoning.
After this, I believe that I have one more summon spell prepared. Then, I can use my arcane bond. Therefore, I plan to do a total of three summons, taking a 5-foot-step at the start of each turn to get a bit closer...
| GM V |
Do your summons do anything weird? Like last longer than normal?
Esme stands her ground and the skeleton continues its assault.
Claw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Claw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
But misses both times!

Do I need a knowledge roll to know about DR on skeletons or do I already know that based on earlier combats?
Know Religion: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Just in case
Seeing the skeleton standing between him and the zombie, Aaziroth drops his sword. He then reaches for his morningstar and swings at the skeleton with an uppercut.
Morningstar: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage(bludgeon): 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

You know.
The skeleton crumbles to dust from Aaziroths Strike!

Her stat block is true neutral. She's the only non evil undead that paizo has made, besides Juju zombies. And she hasn't done anything that pathfinders don't do.
I will say I hate when players die. I like when they are challenged but player deaths are something that I never like to see. Especially when its the dice.
Ziusudra

Zui what did you summon?
Celestial eagle. I also have Augment Summoning, so it's stronger and has more HP than a typical eagle. I can summon it 25 feet ahead of me. It has a fly speed of 80 feet. So, it should be able to fly-charge Esme as soon as it appears.

Esme stabs at Aaziroth then slams the eagle!

Esme's crit confirms because Alpha charged; his AC was 2 lower because of charging. He has taken 5 HP of damage and has 2 HP remaining.
__________
Alpha eagle full attacks:
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18, maybe a hit? Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13, likely a miss
Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21, maybe a hit? Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Then alpha eagle lands on the floor (5-foot-step).
Round 2 of 3 for Alpha.
__________
Bravo eagle pops into existence.
Bravo eagle fly-charges Esme:
Bite+Charge: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 2 = 15, likely a miss
Round 1 of 3 for Bravo.
__________
Ziusudra takes a 5-foot-step forward and uses his arcane bond to start summoning, again.
"Come on Charlie Eagle! We need you!!!"
Aaziroth
|
Map needs to be updated. I assume Esme should be where the skeleton to my north is.
Aaziroth looks a little confused as he doesn't feel the power of Iomedae helping him. He drops his morningstar and draws his dagger to slash at the zombie.
Attack(dagger): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Damage(slash): 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
BTW, Koriar made a bunch of stabilization rolls. I think he stabilized in rd 8 unless he took more damage.
| GM V |
Esme swips her dagger at Aaziroth!
Dagger: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
And slams the same eagle!
Slam: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (19) - 2 = 17

Unable to block the quick slash of her dagger, Aaziroth tries to return the favor. Due to the concern about his wounds, he misses. He then passes his dagger momentarily to his shield hand and calls on Iomedae to heal him. Grabbing the dagger again, he prepares for the next attack.
Attack(dagger): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage(slash): 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Alpha takes a hit and vanishes in a puff of extraplanar energy.
"Goodbye, Alpha. Thank you for your service." Ziusudra thinks silently to himself.

Bravo full attacks:

Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10, miss
Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15, miss
Then it, too, lands (5-foot-step).

__________
Charlie pops into this plane of existence:
Bite+charge: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 2 = 9, miss
(Round 1 of 3)
__________
Ziusudra moves forward and casts Disrupt Undead:
Ranged Touch-Melee: 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 1 - 4 = 12, miss
To Aaziroth's point, is the current map accurate? Can he, for example, step into a flank with one of my summoned creatures?
| GM V |
Remember zui you came in 10 feet down and have to keep going around or climb up to see them. Thats why i quoted the extra 2 rounds to get back for you. The eagles are all good because you can cast them through the whole. If you used that roll as a climb check it should be enough DC is 10 to get up there.

Esme again slashes at Aaziroth!

Having seen the eagles, Aaziroth figured that Ziu was nearby. "Glad you could join us," he says as he attacks the zombie once more.

"Aaziroth, I stand with you! We won't abandon our fellows!"
I plan to move into melee and use the Aid Another action next turn.
Aaziroth
|
Ziu - I'd stay where you are and keep casting Distrupt Undead. It's touch so should be easier to hit & with your low AC and HP, one hit and you'll be out. Let her beat up on me.
Blocking Esme's attacks, Aaziroth slashes at her again with his dagger.
Attack(dagger): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Damage(slash): 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
| GM V |
Aaziroth's dagger meets flesh and with a scream Esme goes down!
Yay Combat Over! So I am going to give you guys the option. There is more things to fight and do here but these were the BBEG's. Do you want to continue or end here? Again to Talon and Halorn, I am really sorry that you guys died.
Koriar, the Unshackled
|
For much that I enjoyed playing a game with all of you, I think I'll vote for we to end it here, since I'm not actually enjoying Koriar.
Koriar, the Unshackled
|
Probably but I'm not even sure I'll keep playing PFS games... the small modules and strict rules is less appealing to me than AP's and homebrews.
Aaziroth
|
That was brutal. I feel bad the dice failed me on the save and I couldn't help. I can get us back to 4 but I'm fine with ending now. What's the logistics of that? Do I burn CLW charges so they can walk out or is it waived?
Aaziroth
|
Aaziroth rushes over to his fallen companions to see if he can help. He's glad to see that Madge and Koriar seem stable but is furious that Talon and Halorn are beyond his ability to save. He says a short prayer over both of them and then gathers the weapons that he dropped.
"We have found the source of the undead and have stopped it, but at a severe price. Let us get our friends to safety so they can be healed and prepare to pay tribute to those that we lost."
