In case it wasn't clear, each of the eight nine burned figures seems different from each other. They're not all the same kind of creature, even though they're all basically humanoid in form.

As far as what they smell like - you only have empathy, and so Taq would find both of them smelling pretty badly, just... differently... from each other. Everything smells a little like wet goblin drying off, but that's about all you can really pick up in the must and odd tang of the air. Also reminding you: you've got a ray of frost following you, unless you would have specifically told it not to. You interested in stats, or do you just want to leave that to me? EDIT: You established your control over it by way of Caster Level and Spellcraft. I mention just to remind you of what, exactly, happened, if you're curious.

Hey Dijiron or Shaedo, did you want to roll Spellcraft or Knowledge (Arcana) or something on the magic in the chest or the lingering magic on the burned bodies?

Reminder that Eris or Dijiron or Lulu or Shaedo may want to Spellcraft roll for the lingering magical aura on the burned bodies, to try to figure out what sort of ritual or whatever they are/were a part of. Messing up their neatly organized pattern might also be good.

...and, other than with mage hand, I really don't recommend touching that black gem, unless you'd LIKE to see what nasty sort of thing your character gets changed into.... just my own suspicions...

So--the headband that was just uncovered in the stone chest is a magical item that gives its wearer enhanced mental resistance (a +1 to Will saving throws). From our training together, we know that the squad members with the least developed mental resistance (lowest Will saves) are Ceru and Lulu (Both have a +1).

It would probably be most efficient to give the headband to Lulu, since Pix, due to her mystical connection with Lulu, would also benefit from the headband's power. (Familiars use their master's saving throws.)

So I'd suggest giving the headband to Lulu. Any thoughts/suggestions/objections?

Well, our GM described it as, "a simple leather band studded with a few small iron rivets."
It's probably brown of some shade, or maybe black, although if anyone on the group has prestidigitation, they could make it whatever color you wanted any given hour...

EDIT: Eris has prestidigitation! Others may as well.

X=whatever color Lulu would like.

Purple, definately purple. purple means wisdom.

All of her spells will have color involved depending on the effect.

Green is healing magic
Purple is wisdom magic
Will have to work on the rest based on what i said before in previous posts

EDIT: And I'd also love to see Lulu develop a new school/treatise of magic; "color magic". Do remember that just because the colors and perceptions don't line up to your own does not make either incorrect. It just means they're different somehow...
