I'll have appraise results tonight my time. As for the new player, I sort of briefed him on what the current party looks like, where I thought we could use some shoring up, and what the possible intro scene looks like. He said he was tentatively leaning toward something religion-based. That's all I've got so far.

Pretty good, thanks. Had a bit of a burnout at the end of last year, but got my head back together now. Figure I'll do a bit of reading and get caught up.

I burned out hard in most of my games. Right now, I'm only running this one, and I'm not playing in any. I might phase in a couple to play in, but I'm going to be pretty picky about what I see during recruitment and what I see from the GMs.

Hey all, I'm the new player Aest has selected. Looking forward to playing with you all. So Aest gave me a run down of the game and setting, I've not played or read kingmaker so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
So I'm thinking a Herald Caller Cleric. That way I can fill the role of a primary healer and also have some versatile ways to deal damage and help the party. What are everyone's thoughts on this? As I'm aware that summoning builds can be disruptive if not done right.
In any case, looking forward to playing.

Seconds, always play what appeals to you personally.
That said, third, if youd like to focus more on the damage side of things, Luthor already is for the most part the healer. Having another primary healer would probably be overkill.
At the end of the day though, refer back to that second comment when choosing what to play.

I'll get Kaz levelled soon, but I'm considering a small rebuild (feats, maybe ability score tweaking; keeping the same class levels, though). How would you like to handle such a thing?

I'm thinking about opening up minor rebuilds (not class shifts, but abilities/feats) between books. Does anyone have a problem with that?

You ID'd the items, but I haven't gotten around to telling you what they are yet because I'm slothful. There won't be any combat or anything for a bit, though, so that's good.

It is, isn't it? Cyanne is being kind enough to play her character so I don't have to NPC her. I'd use her regardless, and this way, there's a bit less control over what I can do with her, which is going to make the next bit more fun for me, too!
It is good to see Cyanne back :) By the way GM Aest, is there anything you need from me before I make my graceful exit?

@Everyone: Did you want to RP out the trial of the Stag Lord?
As long as someone has the, I dunno, "legal chops" to make it good, sounds good to me. Im just not personally confident I can do play like that justice.
I mean, that's sort of the beauty of it. Your characters don't have the legal chops either.
Oh definitely, its just if noone has it the whole thing is probably gonna fall flat, you know?
If we're not sure about how to handle the Stag Lord, it'd also be possible to take him to Restov and allow the Swordlords to take care of him. Either way is fine with me.
Hmm. I wouldn't mind talking to him and seeing what he has to say. We don't have a lot of legal chops going on but we can always pull out some frontier justice.

Herald caller is appealing to me, and with no full divine I think having someone to cast restoration and the like would be a safe choice. Of course if the party thinks that Arcane would bring more to the table, I'm open to looking at that.
In regards to said herald caller character though I have an idea of making an Abadar worshiper with pretty good legal knowledge if that is going to to help your decision in regards to the stag lord / give Aest a good in for my character.
