Blargh,finally figured out why my computers been randomly going to sleep these last few days. Apparently my keyboard was broken in some way, causing it to shut off my computer practically any time I pressed any key. Man, troubleshooting is quite the frustrating adventure.

Alright, Nah. Thanks for the heads-up.

To recap the situation...

There are probably less than 10 bandits left in the fortress, counting Akiros, Dovan of Nisroch, and the Stag Lord. The gate is broken, and won't be openable if it's shut. The north approach has a real zombie problem, but the other side is untested. There's something that summoned Aurochs to attack the party, but hasn't been heard from again.

Thoughts/plans?

Graelem is no scout but checking out the south side of the fortress would be a good idea before assaulting the keep.

Out of the box idea - is there a way we could like purify the hill to the north so we don't have to deal with the zombies? Just because there are big breaks in the walls there, and they know that we know about the gate so they'll expect us to go for it.

Ofcourse Luthors doesnt have Religion as his knowledge array. Bah! Was wondering about what kind of orders the zombies are under. Might be we could just run past them into the keep really.

Depending on their numbers we probably cant outlast them, or atleast not without a resource drain we cant afford.

Given that time may be of the essence, its might be best just to go for the gate, dunno.

Sorry for the lack of posts, but I should be able to be more regular now - especially since I've come down with the flu and was put off from work for most of the upcoming week.

Regarding plan of attack, I do think trying to check the south side would be a good idea before we fully commit to one plan or another. I don't know about purifying the northern slope but Nah could probably bomb the place pretty good to help clear it out - unfortunately that might leave her without any bombs inside.

Alright. I'm back. I still don't want to talk about what happened, but I'm back.

As for the game, the very first PbP I was in died because we, as a party, had a hard time going through doors. Doors kill PbP games, and unfortunately, the Stag Lord's fortress has a very large door. If there's not some sort of plan of attack soon, I'll have to keep moving things forward, unpleasant as that may be.

Okay guys, we need to make a decision pretty quick. The gate seems to be stuck open and is the most obvious means of getting inside - we're also likely to meet the most resistance by going that way.

The northern hill is a zombie death-trap as is. We could probably run through and maybe pepper the hillside with bombs or other things that might slow them down. Of course we'll be going uphill and in prime position to be arrow'd until we can get to the wall.

The southern side of the fortress is currently an unknown. If we're willing to take a risk and go that way or even just scout it out, we might get lucky on finding a way in. Or we might not and end up wasting time.

I'm happy to go with whichever option the majority wants to do. Nah would advocate trying to scout the southern side of the fortress before deciding for sure, but remember that she's also not quite as concerned about one hostage as everyone else is. Nah's player would probably recommend either braving the zombie hill or storming the front gate since we're running low on time.

I think Graelem would favor a frontal assault upon the front gate, since Sir Walhem is in imminent danger.

I don't think anyone knows Turn Undead, which is what would've made me feel comfortable going up zombie hill again. I'll vote for the frontal assault.

Just randomly looked at your stats in your header Graelem, and I think your saves are off, unless occultist has no good saves.

Just to reiterate, im not too bothered by the delays. Heck, for a while there I was a super slow poster myself, there needs to be room for it.

People just tend to focus more on DM absence because its much easier to notice.
