Yeah, stuff hasnt really been working out lately, had a talk with a professional and it sounded like she thinks ive been hovering in this state for years probably. Apparently on this "depression scale" or whatever, I rank a 2 out of 4

Luthor, as someone who has several mental illnesses I can tell you that treatment makes a *WORLD* of difference. It's amazing the difference medication can make in your life, and therapy has been wonderful for me. I highly recommend both. Sometimes the neurotransmitters in your brain go off script and you need to whack them back into submission.
I'm glad you've spoken to someone about this, Luthor. Like Lali, I've been seeking treatment for mental illness myself (going on my 10th year of fighting depression), and treatment is important. There's no shame in it, so seek it out. We're all here for you, and if you need to take a backseat for a while and focus on you, I'm sure every one of us will understand!
Lapsing on the posting, sorry. We're moving my grandpa and grandma out of their house and into assisted living, on account of his Alzheimer's getting worse, so it'll likely be a bit without consistent posts.
No worries and no rush. I remember when we had to do that for my Grandpa with Alzheimers, it was not easy.

Given everyone's speed of posting, I get your frustration, Nah. It's hard to focus on something that's so inconsistent, and it's not entirely fair to you guys that it is. That being said...
My grandpa died yesterday after fighting Alzheimer's for 8 years. He had a stroke, which killed him before he could go through the worst of the disease. I'm going to try something different than when my other grandpa died (2 years ago to the day). I'm going to be around and trying to post as much as possible, because his death wasn't unexpected in any way, and in a way, is a relief. However, it's likely I'll be missing some days still. I'd like to get to a regular posting schedule, since I have some cool ideas coming up that I'd like to try out.
I'm so, so sorry Aest. I get where you're coming from. I remember when my grandpa passed away, he'd had severe Alzheimer's for years. It was hard, but at the same time it felt like we'd lost him years earlier. Knowing he wasn't suffering from all the confusion anymore was kind of a relief.
I only got to see the beginning stages of it with my grandmother, so can only imagine. She was "lucky" and quietly passed away before it could get really bad. Even then, those moments when you were with her and she suddenly forgot who people were and then realized it. Was tough as a bystander, cant even begin to imagine what that was like.
I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. I don't know what more to say.

With the trial more-or-less concluded, I'd like to ask a question of everyone. Would you rather plow into Book Two with enough resources to get started on your Barony, or try negotiating the political waters of Brevoy in hopes of more support from the Great Lords, religious institutions, or wealthy private factions? I'm fine with either way, and have prepared some goals for said political factions, but if they're not used here, I'll just post them on the forums so others can see them and maybe get some inspiration.
I'd like to try the second option. More support is always good, although I know this is a task Lali's not really built to shine at xD
The activities/tasks/things are built so everyone has a moment or two. In fact, some of them are relics left from former party members that I just haven't taken out.
I'm happy to do some negotiating around. If nothing else Valeriya would like to get this endeavour the formal blessing of the church of Abadar before proceeding.
