The city of Daggermark is best known for its poisoners and assassins, who maintain active guilds that enjoy the full respect of local authorities. Local venture-captain Istivil Bosk prefers to keep his head down and stays out of their affairs, but he has recently learned that a Pathfinder agent has been targeted for assassination. Can the PCs enact the venture-captain's daring plot to save this agent without becoming the assassins' next victims?

Noob question. Can I buy spell scrolls in PFS? Will that allow me to cast spells that I can cast without spending spell slots? I've read the rules regarding scrolls in the CRB, but I don't understand the part about deciphering, activating, and determining the effect.

Yes, you can buy scroll, they are single use, unless you buy them with multiple castings. But, since this is core, you can only buy those that are in the core rule book and those that you acquire in chronicles. Off the top of my head, you still have to stay with in purchasing limits per fame, but level 1 scrolls are always available and can purchase them as wizard/sorcerer/cleric spells for spell level. ie, if the spell is available at level 1 for a ranger and level 2 for cleric, you use the cleric one to determine cost.

hopefully this helps. I am still not the best at playing casters, so I do not play too many of them.

Thank you. I'm not really used to playing spellcasters as well so I'm still learning the ropes on their playing style. I'm thinking of buying mage armor scrolls so that I can save my spell slots on crowd control and offensive spells.

His dice bag is woven from tarrasque leather. His TPKs end game lines. His blood cures moderate wounds. He once punched a flumph. Yes, you heard me. He belongs to a prestige class whose sole requirement for entry is just being him. ♬ He is indeed, the most interesting GM in the world. ♬

Hear you had an open seat. What level and party role did you need or like? I see you have a fighter, rogue, and a monk (and that's just TriShadow's character).

Meirdrarel (i.e. possibly the only wizard)? If so I can bring my illusionist. Otherwise, seeing as the blurb says Daggermark, my rogue is pretty much a classic D&D thief, and my ranger is an up-close acrobatic pirate, either is pretty good at parkour should it prove necessary.
