Due to the site downtime I'd highly suggest everyone here organizes some sort of Out-Of-Band communication method so we can all keep in touch in case things go down, and let people know when things get back up and it's their turn. I hang out on the PFS discord which you can reach at pfschat.com; I'm around the ACG channels as well as #pbp_gameday_vii which is where announcements related to Game Day will be made. I'm there as skizzerz (aka Lehran#0605), if you want to drop me a DM to let me know who you are so I can poke you about site downtime/uptime or if you have any questions that are best asked in private.
Other tables have organized other chats such as Hangouts in order to discuss strategy and stuff as well. If someone starts one of those, let me know and I'll add the link to the Campaign tab; I won't be joining myself though since I don't have/use Hangouts.

I too am on PFS Chat. Yiroep (GM Andrew)

I will be at Dragon Con this weekend. It starts officially about 48 hours from this post and lasts til Monday. I am not doing too much there but there could potentially be an outage from me.
If anyone else is there, I will be wearing the nametag "Yiroep (GM Andrew)."

Erasmus~ |

Dragon con in full swing for me. Posting will be very sporadic.

Reiko the Ninja |

Sorry guys, probably won't be able to pay till tomorrow evening.

BR skizzerz |

Congratulations, that was down to the wire! I’ll get the development flavor text and next scenario up tonight.
In the meantime, you an take a look at deck upgrades (I’ll post a full list of those later tonight as well, but I’m the meantime you can use the list from my last update plus any booms people acquired since then). Reward is “Traders: Falsin Deek, Ghoul Market, Sunburst Market” and if this was your first scenario in your tier, you also get a Skill Feat.
Additionally, everyone can roll 1d20 for a boon; 1 or 20 wins! See here for the list. Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 14

Grazzle the Grubmaster |

boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Looks like item 1, ally 1, and a lot of Bs including 1 spell.
Choice 1. Item 1. I would like to trade out my Bestiary of Garund for a Binder's Tome (Reveal to add 1d4 and the mental trait to any combat or charisma based non-combat check at my location.)
random roll: 1d1000 ⇒ 927
Choice 2. Spell B. I would like to upgrade my Viper Strike (2d4 dmg poison) into a Holy Light (2d6 dmg, 2d12 instead vs undead.)
random roll: 1d1000 ⇒ 913
Choice 3. Armor B. Replace Crocodile Skin Armor with Armor of the Sands. We got multiple armors so a roll shouldn't be needed.
Oh and skill feat will be +1 to charisma.

Erasmus~ |

Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Erasmus is going to gain a Skill Feat in Dexterity.
First choice: Weapon B random roll: 1d1000 ⇒ 799
Second choice: Item 1 random roll: 1d1000 ⇒ 595
Third choice: Armor B random roll: 1d1000 ⇒ 258
Fourth choice: Blessing B random roll: 1d1000 ⇒ 311

Grazzle the Grubmaster |

You can ask them here. I'll go over how this works for the newer players.
We will each get to upgrade 1 card in our deck. Things go faster and simpler if you list your top 3 - 4 choices and roll a d1000 for each. High roll wins.
The cards we found don't matter. What does matter is the type and rarity.
When upgrading you will use a card from your deck or decks.
For example there is 1 Ally 1. Let's say Qualzar wants it and rolls the highest on his d1000, He would take an ally out of his deck, Replace it with an ally 1 from whatever box or boxes he built his deck from, then that that ally is a permanent addition to his new deck.
All of those basic and B boons we found are considered B upgrades.
So for your upgrade you could say you want an armor B. You would take an armor out of your deck and replace it with any B armor, Even if it isn't basic.
Spells, items, and blessings are good finds because there are often good choices that are B rarity but not basic.
Traders
In Season of Factions’ Favor, traders work differently than in Mummy’s Mask, in the following ways.
• When you are rewarded with a trader, instead of checking it off on the Bazaar card, record it on your Chronicle sheet.
• You do not visit traders after winning a scenario. Instead, at the start of each scenario in this Adventure Path, before setting out the locations, you may visit 1 trader you have recorded on your Chronicle sheet.
• Pay the trade cost with the usual number and type of cards from your deck, but instead of putting those cards in the box, put 1 in to your deck box and bury any others.
• At the end of the scenario, return the card you traded for to the game box, and put the card you returned to your deck box back into your deck.
For example, to pay the trade cost to a trader offering spells at a cost of 2 boons, put 1 of those boons into your deck box, bury the other boon, then add the spell to your deck. At the end of the scenario, return the spell to the game box and put the first boon back in your deck.
Falsin Deek: Items 2 boons
Ghoul Market: Armors 2 boons
However the Sunburst Market works differently and is what most of us will be using for awhile.
Instead of trading say 2 armors from our deck for 1 random armor we can go to the Sunburst Market and trade any boon from our deck for any boon listed in the Sunburst Market.
They are all basic cards but it adds a lot of flexibility.
Pick any card in your deck that you feel you don't need and get a blessing, ally, spell, etc... of your choice from the Sunburst Market's selection of wares.
So in my case I will probably trade my Pick for a 3rd Cure or maybe a Remove Curse. At the end of the next scenario I return the spell back to the box, (It isn't counted as an acquired card.) and put my pick back in my deck.
But since we have access to these traders for every game (As far as I know) I could just keep trading in my pick for a basic card from the Sunburst Market.

Qualzar |

OK So I get one card as a reward, and I roll off with others to see which one I get?
The choice of cards is the sorcerer deck I have and up to one additional add-on deck, right?
I guess my choices will be:
Ally 1 1d1000 ⇒ 171
Spell B 1d1000 ⇒ 635
Item 1 1d1000 ⇒ 354
Weapon B 1d1000 ⇒ 871
And if I can't get any of those, I'll take an item B which we seem to have a surplus of.
My skill feat will be a +1 to Charisma.

Grazzle the Grubmaster |

Yes. You don't even have to trade in a blessing. You can trade any card in your deck.

Raz the Noble |

Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 436 (Retriever)
Weapon B: 1d1000 ⇒ 783 (Lance)
Armor B: 1d1000 ⇒ 462 (Fireproof O-Yoroi)
Skill Feat: +1 to Strength

Grazzle the Grubmaster |

We can't move on until everyone posts what deck upgrade and skill upgrade they are taking.
Just list them in preference and roll a d1000 by each.
Mummified Cat (Item 1)
Idorii (Ally 1)
Blowgun (Weapon B)
Acute Senses (Spell B)
Catching Cape (Armor B)
Crocodile Skin Helmet (Armor B)
Crocodile Skin Lamellar (Armor B)
Filter Hood (Armor B)
Tussah Silk Coat (Armor B)
Acid Flask (Item B)
Bladeguard (Item B)
Compass (Item B)
Frost Staff (Item B)
Osirion History Guide (Item B)
Camel (Ally B)
Dhabba (Ally B) x2
Pahmet Clanman (Ally B)
Porcupine (Ally B)
Shock Lizard (Ally B) x2
Tarworks Master (Ally B)
Tomb Raider (Ally B)

Grazzle the Grubmaster |

So we have
Qualzar +1 charisma
Ally 1 171
Spell B 635
Item 1 354
Weapon B 871
Mogmurch Skill upgrade unchosen. Replay?
Item 1 303
Item B 42
Weapon B 908
Raz the Noble +1 strength
Ally 1 436
Weapon B 783
Armor B 462
Erasmus +1 Dexterity
Weapon B 799
Item 1 595
Armor B 258
Blessing B 311
Grazzle +1 Charisma
Item 1 927
Spell B 913
Armor B
Aric - 勝20100 MIA
So far
Item 1 Grazzle with a roll of 927
Ally 1 Raz the Noble with a roll of 426
Spell B Qualzar with a roll of 635
Item B Mogmurch No roll needed
Weapon B Erasmus no roll needed since Mogmurch chose item over it.

勝20100 |
OK, I just read throught the post to understand how this works.
Skill Feat is +1 Charisma for Aric and +1 Dexterity or the Red Raven.
I’ll let go our only weapon.
First pick is Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 750
Second pick is Item 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 449
Third pick is ally B, and there is enough for everyone so no roll.

Erasmus~ |

I think he is just bumping the person who was last to first and moving everyone down one each scenario. It's a pretty fair way to do it.

BR skizzerz |

Is the order of play determined by how we completed the last scenario?
Yes. 1st turn of new scenario is whoever would have been next in the previous one had it not ended. For example, if Mogmurch/khazkhaz won this scenario, then Raz/eddiephlash would go first in the next one. That way everyone gets close to an equal number of turns across all scenarios.

Makes sense.

skizzerz |

skizzerz informed me that I may take a card feat for this scenario.
Specifically, 4-1A was your 4th successfully completed scenario in Tier 1, and the Guide doles out feat rewards as follows:
1. On your 1st successfully completed scenario of your tier, you gain a Skill Feat2. On your 2nd successfully completed scenario of your tier, you gain a Power Feat
3. On your 4th successfully completed scenario of your tier, you gain a Card Feat and can optionally increase your tier
4. On your 5th successfully completed scenario of your tier, you can optionally increase your tier
5. On your 6th successfully completed scenario of your tier, you are required to increase your tier
All of this is found in the Card Guild Guide, among other things. If you weren't aware of this progression, re-read the guide. If you haven't read it yet, download it and read it.

Got it. I have two scenarios left before I’m required to tier up.

Grazzle the Grubmaster |

Also, who do I message regarding joining the Hangouts or Discord group (if any)?
To my knowledge we have no set discord channel or hangout channel for this table. If Skizzers wan't to create one I'll join.

BR skizzerz |

I need everyone's PFS numbers (including the character id), so I can get a start on reporting. If you are not playing a brand new character, please also state how many scenarios you have previously successfully completed before starting at this table.
As for hangouts, I don't personally use it but it can be a good way to speed things up for strategy discussion, etc. If someone wants to start one, please do so and invite everyone else! Joining will be optional, but if someone starts one up I recommend you join if able.

Erasmus~ |

43439-1008. Brand new character.

skizzerz |

Sorry, I had no time on Sunday to do much of anything. I'm trying to untangle everything now. Updates will be posted to the Gameplay thread.
Re death: you get die bumps after finishing every scenario in an adventure with a single character. Nobody has any yet here. If you die, your only option would therefore be starting over with a new character should you wish to continue playing.
